The Baskin-Robbins logo has a hidden feature. The curves of the B and the side of the R make 31 when put together. This stands for the 31 flavors of the company. Me, in my childhood ignorance, always saw it just as a 31 with weird parentheses. I only realized it was supposed to be a BR when I was told about the 31 as if it was something that people didn't normally notice. :)

@@nefarious012 have you seen the hidden logo in the Baskin-Robbins the pink are actually the number 31 as that's how many flavors they have once you see that it can't be unseen
The narrator said, "That's right Pepsi used to be a nut drink." But if I'm not mistaken, all colas used to have cola nut extract in them. Nowadays, almost all sodas have artificial flavoring and coloring in them.
Whenever I see the Pepsi logo, USA doesn't come to mind, Dutchland does. Apart from the union jack and some nordic crosses, most red/white/blue flags were influenced by the Dutch national flag. And considering the US constitution was copied from our own, it's not a stretch to think their flag borrowed the Dutch color scheme as well.
The funny thing is. Back in the early 1900's, the new and flegeling company, Pepsi offered to sell the whole company to the Coca Cola company, for one hundred dollars. Coke declined the offer, stating that they can bury them, anyways. after all, a little competition never has hurt anyone.

About Pizza Hut: a little anekdote! Hut is not just an English word, but also a Dutch and German one. But while in Dutch it has the same meaning as in English, it has a completely different meaning in German! Now, that's not so special of course, but Germans pronounce "Pizza Hut" the way they pronounce the German word Hut, being something close to "hoot". Hut is a cognate to the English "hood". The German Pizza Hut pronunciation makes on some levels more sense than the English one, as it actually means "Pizza Hat", coincidentally yet falsely referring to the logo.
Regarding the Beats Electronics logo "b" at the 19:50 mark - I don't know if you have seen the "b" for the energy drink called "Bang", but it is also very similar to the Beats "b".
You didn't mention Apple's logo. It's so ingenious that it has two meanings: 1. Customer paying for the whole apple but only getting a bite. 2. Customer paying for a new apple but getting one that someone already took a bite of.
Did you read it on The Onion or are you just mad you can't afford it? It's official meaning is a tribute to Alan Turing, the man who laid the foundations for the modern-day computer.
Fun Fact: Hyundai's name sometimes represent "hiện đại". It means modern in Vietnam. Hyun dai. Hiện dại. See it? And also there's Vietnamese writing in the middle/top left 24:49.
When they first introduced Pizza Hut in Germany in the late 80s, they pronounced it the German way. Turns out that the German word Hut means hat in English. So we went dining in a fedora. Later they pronounced it the proper way.
When I was a little girl, I thought the Toyota symbol was a cowboy in a circle. It looked to me like a man with a cowboy hat in a circle. hahaha...I feel kind of silly now!
I used to love getting home from school and checking the mailbox to find the fresh Netflix DVDs. Next best thing to going to blockbuster… Now THOSE were the good ole days
As a computer shop salesperson when Sony introduced his VAIO gamme of computers, we were clearly informed about its meaning : it was due to the fact all these products were equipped with one or several FireWire (IEEE 1394, FireWire is the registered Apple name) ports, named iLink by Sony, and firstly used by new DV cassette camcorders. They were used because USB 1.1 (the standard USB at the time) couldn't handle the data rate of these devices. The yellow circle in the Tour de France logo symbolizes July's summer sun.
I thought the "b", on the Beats logo, was supposed to be an earbud. I also thought the 1989 - present Toyota logo was supposed to represent an animal with antlers, such as a deer or mouflon. It thought it was supposed to symbolize the quality and speed of their cars are as good as the aforementioned animal counterpart.

2:28 I actually remember doing a trial membership for Netflix, back when they still send DVDs to your house. I didn’t end up purchasing a subscription because you got I think two or three at a time (sub was one week), and by the time you mailed a disc back and got another in your queue, it just wasn’t worth it. And I know everything is digital/streaming these days, but if it’s a movie I really love, I’m going to buy the DVD
Honestly, the Hyundai logo looks more like an inverted N to me than an H, and it does kind of look like Honda as well. This is coming from someone who doesn't have an interest in cars, so I imagine lots of people disagree... but if I had to name car brands in rapid succession I would probably get Hyundai wrong, while definitely nailing Toyota. Although honestly I recognize that one more because the center part looks like a bull's head with horns than anything that was described in the video.
It was really convenient. You just put the old one in the mail, and the next one from your queue will be automatically sent. Plus full special features on the DVD !

What about the spoon in the logo? Do you not see it too?

I'm from a super small town in NC called "New Bern" and we use that same exact yellow, red, and black bear logo as our city's mascot. Ironically, it's also the birth place of Pespi where that history sign for "Brad's drink" is located 😎

So we gonna skip over the Pepsin thing? I'm from Fayetteville & was always told about how the older generation would put their salted nuts n their pop. I ain't gonna lie, i did it too as a kid.

The American flag (and many other country's flags) were derived from England's flag.

My thoughts exactly, Hyundai is merely an Italic "Honda"
