No one wants to watch traditional Hollywood talk shows like Fallon anymore. They want to see podcast style, real conversations with these actors to connect to them as human beings, as artists, rather than the plastic title of "celebrity". This is why this show is so good
Honestly when talk shows like Fallon or Colbert do their interviews and they try to add in a little game or twist to try to compare to hot ones, it just feels disingenuous and overly productized. It either feels overly made and rehearsed or it just feels like an opportunity for one of them to do or say something weird or cookie just for ratings. Hot ones breaks all of those molds by truly breaking down the psyche of the interviewee, truly making them feel like a regular person just having a conversation over wings, all while the wings do their job and take away their inhibitions or filters

I appreciate how open he is about his influences. A lot of artists pretend they don't have strong influences because they don't want to seem unoriginal but Jacob's answers give great insight into his creative process.

i think he's one of those people who really understand, that journalism has very little to do w what's going on lately and rather more w what is going on in deeply, the facts that have to be highlighted, interpreted rather than just collected and thrown at your face

Jacob Elordi brings such intelligence, sensitivity, and depth to his performances. He also seems like a lovely person. I am interested to see how his career develops. I hope he takes the Robert Pattinson route and starts appearing in off beat character roles in indie films. Great episode!

Sean Evans is another level of interviewer. His questions are insightful and unique and you can see the guests engaging more in these interviews in contrast to the mainstream ones. Will forever watch Hot One’s for this reason.

Having never seen Euphoria and not knowing who Jacob was, this was a really good interview. The fact that Sean always seems genuinely interested in his questions makes it so enjoyable.
Seriously go watch it asap! The acting is just out of this world imo and the characters are so well written.

He does a great job! Strangely enough, as an Australian - from the same city as Jacob - I can hear a fairly subtle American "twang" coming through fairly consistently throughout the interview. It's bound to happen when you're living in the country and playing American characters, but I wouldn't be surprised if he sounds very different in five years time.

This youth definitely proved his acting chops in Euphoria. His performance was one of the more compelling things about the show. That scene where he tried to fight his father and ended up convulsing on the floor alone was award-worthy. From his interviews, he's also quite insightful, self aware, and soulful for someone so young. He's got a long way to go in Hollywood.

love listening to jacob elordi talk about acting because it gives me so much hope listening to someone who's just so real about who he is which is the same person before he got famous.

This show has made me realise how much actors on the whole actually love their craft, I was actually very ignorant based on years of seeing standard interviewers ask standard questions, I just thought actors kind of just got into acting and didn’t really appreciate it but people like Sean actually ask insightful questions that lead to insightful answers.

I occasionally watch interviews of celebrities I've never heard of, and I absolutely love this guy. He seems like he could play a decent Clark Kent in the newest Batman redo.

I think my favorite thing about Sean is how he makes sure to hit different aspects of each guests' lives. I'm sure a lot of them feel type-casted and it's refreshing for them when Sean asks about more than just the one "big" thing they're known for that they get asked about in every other interview.

This is such a fun episode. I normally expected him to act tough and cool and all that, but he's actually not afraid to show this more vulnerable side. Great insights as well.
Something sean should be more of 'vulnerable' he is quite repetitive in responses and frequently mirroring his guest's body language.

I finally got to watch euphoria. Very Addictive and hard to just watch one episode. Jacob is incredible at making you love to hate /hate to love his character . Very talented .
