I have to admit that my thoughts on Shia have become more positive in these last couple of years. I still think he must have suffered as a child actor and while it doesn't excuse his insults and tirades towards others I hope he finds the help or at least stability he needs because in this stable form he seems like a nice guy.
I wonder if SEAN ever feels bad for the guy who has to do an interview with his guest after him? It’s like having a great opening act and the headliner has to be better to get the same reaction. Sean’s raising the bar for interviews.

It has to be so refreshing to celebrities for someone to ask them genuine questions about their art, interests, and experiences in a way that isn’t creating the narrative for them around the special moments
shia's reaction was soo sweet!!! goes to show how big a relief it must be to be there
He does a great job making each of his guest feel special and exclusive.
You’re an impressive talent Jasper
I LOVE LOVE LOVE interviewers who do their research.
Can we just appreciate Jasper Liang for putting this together so well and looking through all the footage 💙💙
that interview was one of the defining moments of THE STEVE AUSTIN's life.... put Sean and the team on the hall of fame already
Hot Ones is a fascinating show with some great guests, but it would never work without Sean Evans.
One thing that prob goes unnoticed is besides all the research the "team" do on the guests n all that Sean himself really does a deep dive on them too, I remember him telling that super genius physicist or whatever he is that he had read his book on the weekend kinda thing so def lots of respect for that. Sean does waaay more than just eat wings n learn the questions he has to ask his guests, he def does his homework on them too n it's why he gets all the love from them
You guys should get Linus on this show lol. He loves spicy food, he's always eating ghost pepper jerkey on stream
That anecdote question he asks Paul Rudd has to be one of the greatest interview questions ever asked, period. It's so specific to the interviewee, but also invites such incredibly thoughtful commentary on the entertainment industry as a whole.
and the kristen stewart quote really expands it well
Sean is the best interviewer simply because he does his research
I love that not only he has done the research but his questions about the subjects are so well thought out and interesting.
Keep doing you Jasper, thanks for doing the compilations!
It's really cool to see someone who genuinely loves the content that they create and it shows in their work.
