I had an issue with my new 458 not chambering and jamming from feeding. Did this mod and now my gun functions and cycles flawlessly!!! Thank you very much!!!
Hey what is the brand on the MEK, I’ve been searching for it locally and can not locate it nor can anyone understand what I’m talking about for the application of it.
I've found the best magazines to be the 20rd lancer mags for my 50 Beo. There's no guide running down the internals of the magazine. Therefore, OAL of the round is not an issue. I've completely given up to using 30rd aluminum 5.56 mags, as those only feed my brass spitzer bullets. Lancers work flawlessly with my flat nose and XTP HP rounds. 6+1 capacity, but better than 10 rounds in a larger magazine that wont feed. Just my opinion.
I can't speak on the traditional 30rd Lancers, as I don't own any. I am also still in the process of working out the best magazines/ammo configurations that are the most reliable for me. It's been frustrating. I've hand loaded a lot of rounds and have tried to test different mags and rounds to find the best. It's just kind of expensive for me to do (as projectiles themselves still aren't cheap). I know that I can buy GI aluminum mags, add the single stack blue 450 bushmaster follower and feed brass spitzer rounds all day. Just trying to find the ideal mag to feed the XTP rounds. Just had a few hiccups the other day with XTP's and my 20round Lancers, so the saga continues (update from my previous post). Might have something to do with OAL (may have loaded them with slightly too much OAL, cuz the round hits the bottom of the feed ramp and jams). It's just not getting enough upward tilt to feed consistently. Don't know if I described that last portion accurately enough... It's been a process for me. Currently the only combo I am comfortable to put my life on is the metal mags and Spitzer rounds, but I have several flat nosed Rainier FMJ's and XTP's I just need to work with. I'll post in the future if I've found anything better.
I will most likely be buying a couple 30rd Lancers in the future to just have for several of my different caliber AR's. There's no hurt in trying them. Cuz if they don't work for your Beo, you still have a great magazine (one of the best in my opinion) for 5.56/blackout. If you test before me, please post. and ill do the same.
Thank you

Use a Dremel tool
Or just buy Lancer mags.
Or just stop waisting ur time and get lancer magazine it's same price as that damn pmag , for 458 SOCOM any metal magazines would be better ,
