Question 2002 Volvo 2.4 turbo only has the one VVT hub exhaust side. Visually can you tell the difference between a spring-loaded and non spring-loaded hub?....mine did not spring back when removing the timing belt, And timing mark did not move..So I did not know if this hub was bad?

Hi, I did it right this way, but I also tightend the belt CLOCKWISE, like you said... now i read on Volvo Vida, that Volvo said, you have to move it AGAINST Clockwise... is this bad? Will make this problems or damage the tightener /Engine?? I need a quick respons

I made mine with 66% standard thermite with red iron oxide and aluminum powder along with 29% barium nitrate and 2%sulfur and 3% potassium nitrate. That's my thermate composition, and it burns for a long time, super bright and extremely hot it. it does require a starting mix. I used 5 parts potassium nitrate, 2 parts sulfur, and 3 parts powder, and it works great

I'm using a large medical syringe to try to pump fluid back through the slave cylinder on my 96 850R. But despite the bleeder being open I can't pump any fluid back through, it's too much resistance. What might be causing this?

This is by far the best method, especially if you are doing a fluid flush, as you can just empty the reservior, fill it up halfway with brake fluid.drain the whole system of old fluid through the slave cylinder bleed valve and then reverse purge it with new fluid until the reservoir is at the correct level. This will not only prevent you from introducing air into the system entirely, it'll also keep you from mixing old, nasty clutch fluid with the brake fluid and the new clutch fluid!

I was confused watching a 3d animation video that appeared to be a hammer (but the animation was fast and hard to see clearly). It's very unusual for a semi-auto to have a completely hidden hammer that can't be seen at all on the outside let alone still can't be seen when field stripped. Appears to be a fairly simple, effective design though (for what it is). K.I.S.S. (Would like to see Ruger's design and see how it compared. I think that one is striker fired, but I honestly don't know (edit: Never mind. It is hammer fired too).

A great and very informative video. My question is why do you have to change these in the first place. I had my Volvo S40 2003 replaced the timing chain after it broke. After everything was done, the engine is so bad. NO POWER AT ALL. could it be that I need to change the CVVT as well. Pls help

Is this CVVT only on the exhaust side?? Odd. I have a single VVT but it's on the inlet side of a 2000 B5244S 2.4L ... maybe the orientation of the 2.5L (which I think you are working on) i different?

I wonder if FN Herstal will come out with a striker-fired pistol chambered pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm to succeed the Five-SeveN design. FN released the Five-SeveN was released in 2000 and its first striker-fired pistol, the FNS, in 2011, AND FN announced that NATO standardized their 5.7 round this year on 25 February 2021 as the NATO STANAG 4509. It would be cool to see them revisit the idea of making a 5.7 gun again.

I found it much easier to break the plastic weld on the bulb socket and pull it out of the reflector. When you replace the bulb just adjust the depth to focus the beam and fix it with a glue gun. The bulb you want is the H10W, BA9s socket, it’s pretty easy to find.

I have a big stream of oil coming straight up about 8 inches high with the engine running from between the 2 cam shaft pulleys. Does anyone would have an idea where is coming from? Thank you.
