@@4ekpuxta I remember beeing a bit surprised and disappointed in the guys, when it was reported how they "handed Tarja a letter, told her to read it and in the letter she was fired", no matter the issues they might have had, not the way to handle stuff, then they did the same with Anette Olzon a few years later. Even worse they allegedly invited her replacement before she was even fired. By that time I had already lost interest. Pitty, but oh well.
This was the first song I ever heard from Nightwish and I was completely blown away by it. I now own all of their CD's and DVD's with all three of their singers. After I saw this I felt blessed.

This really sounds like Tarja at her best! This vid makes me realize Tarja could be good on stage as well. Very high energy from rest of the band too, looking at Emppu and he can't stay still! Nightwish was and IS excellent.

Tuomas escribió estas canciones para que las cante ella. Las adapto a su estilo de voz. Floor es una excelente intérprete, con una voz muy educada y lo bueno de ella fue no copiarla pero si respetar el estilo, solo les añadió correctamente alguna impronta personal. Me parecen ambas fantásticas vocalistas y compositoras. Muyyyy profesionales . Sus técnicas vocales son perfectas .🥰

It was very informative and at times a bit too explicit. The band information was excellent and their trials and tribulations are worth noting. Kyle I hope this helps. It is a thick book and some of the names and places that are Finnish are hard to pronounce but it is written in English. I paid about $40 for it. It is out of print but Amazon or some other place may still have it. Let me know.

May 2024! Who else miss Tarja era Nightwish? I like each and every vocalist Toumas let into the band one day. All three of them unique and beautiful. But this is golden era… ppl my age (33-and up) will never forget!
Yup. Ill never forget the first time i saw them. October 20th, 2007. They did a small american tour to warm anette up for bigger crowds, and the entire band was revigorated and had amazing energy.

Wholeheartedly agree. The song was written for her vocal style. Floor is great but she sounds better singing the songs written for her. I know Anette may not have been the most popular (I love her too) but no one sings Amaranth like she does. Just my opinion. There’s no right or wrong. Although I do consider Tarja the queen. ❤

Wholeheartedly agree. The song was written for her vocal style. Floor is great but she sounds better singing the songs written for her. I know Anette may not have been the most popular (I love her too) but no one sings Amaranth like she does. Just my opinion. There’s no right or wrong. Although I do consider Tarja the queen. ❤
