I'm 69 and Iam enjoying this band. This is a proper group as I like to annoy telling my grandkids. Real British rock and pop music written in the girls bedrooms just to please themselves. I wish them all the best for their career. Long may they last.
why is this band so good ? They write great music. They are excellent live. They are all good looking and talented. How can they not set the world on fire ?
Are you living under a rock? They ARE setting the world on fire lol. It doesn't look the same as when Nirvana did it. The internet killed traditional music outlets
Any young people here? I love this band too, and it's been a while since I found a band I wanted to play on repeat. I'm 61, is it reminiscent of the various songs we've loved in the past? From back in our day ? Or maybe just what we needed right now.
I like how she uses her voice as an instrument on the chorus. Very catchy song that seems retro but also fresh and unique. All their music is pretty much like that.

Absolutely gorgeous band! I'm 42 years old and I've missed sounds like this. Very original and full of life... and every live performances are much better than album recordings. Wet Leg is will be much better, I know...
@@deathmetalhell lol, cleverish, but if someone actually reaches 92, they can say whatever the fuck they want, who's gonna be the douchebag to say otherwise. That'll not be me. I'll be too busy applauding.
No, because you are at the right age where you got to enjoy every great decade of pop rock music and live through it's evolution. Never too old to enjoy fun music.
The look on the drummers face, at 25:50 I recognize well, as a fellow drummer. That pumping pattern he’s playing on the bass drums burns the ankle muscles…especially to play it fast and consistently, which he does most of the way through the song.
I'm 65 million years old and I just love this band. (All jokes aside tho, they are a refreshing sound in the sea of shitty rock, pop, and hip hop that dominates the music scene these days also everyone keeps saying they sound like they're from the 90s, no they sound like they are from the early 2000s bands like ok go, the strokes, the raconteurs, the white stripes, etc that poppy garage rock sound that bands usually only keep for the first record before the record companies make the sound generic)
OMG! Them acoustics though, this recording of them so excellent here. This set is crystal clear, bringing out a really great performance from Wet Leg. Thank you for sharing this!
Can't get enough of this band at the moment. Best thing going around. The girls are so talented. Rhian is so talented. Her voice is sublime when she sang Saturn with the Plastic Mermaids.
That's a fine fine band , been listening for days non stop for 3 days now , since I discovered them . Not sure why the algorithm pair them with Amyl and the Sniffers but it's all good , my 70's years old bones love them all equally. Quand je pense a Yvette Horner
It's been so great to stumble across the few new bands like this that finally move that kinda indie/garage rock sound forward again. It felt like the 10s were pretty thin but stuff like Wet Leg brings it back.
What an injection of originality and mayhem, it’s reinvigorated my interest in new music. Bought their album, it hasn’t come off the turntable in a week.
This is the best set I have seen the band do to date. They are really beginning to get a great stage presence and attitude now. Full of confidence and energy. Wet Leg are going to be BIG! How can they fail with a formula like that?
I saw a video of this band playing at a college a few moths back. Very impressed. A 'cerebral' experience. So refreshing compared with what passes for 'music' these days
what a fun mix of rock, pop, punk, grunge and everything else, it feels very new but also old. and great writing, the lyrics are honest and humorous without being overly cynical.
That's it couldn't put it better myself, it's like listening to the B52's one moment, Yeah Yeah yeahs, pixies, ween, The Strokes, The Breeders. Clever, witty, flirty lyrics displaying that wonderful English charm
adorable, but how do you hide the naughty words in "Wet dream", it'd be a really long bleep. It''d be bleep, bleep, bleep...bonnet and windscreen (no-one in North America would know what that meant so maybe bleep that too......
Amazing! Just love this band and their style. Can't stop listening to their album. I was introduced to them by my daughter (i'm 54 and she's 27) we both love them!
I love this concert video! I've watched many of their videos and this concert was their best rendition of UR Mom, Wet Dream (everyone's having fun) and Supermarket that I've seen 'live'! Everyone was killing it! Vocals were spot on! Drums and Bass pouring in the energy! I like that the the "do do dos" keep going with the scream like the recorded track. Keep rocking and having fun! Looking forward to you guys coming to Cincinnati!
I feel lucky to be in this space, in this time on this planet....experiencing this musical affair as it's happening. I hear pixies, goldfrapp, shoegaze, biz, len, a bit of beck, the dandy warhols, annie clark, and the "shut up woman get on my horse" song :)
def live the pixies/breeders kinda guitar and def shoegaze..."angelica" is a good example of that. Poppy's new music covers a lot of genres like industrial, shoegaze, power pop, punk, metal, dream pop. 90s alternative...
They got me the 1st time I heard Wet Dream on the radio..they deserve the accolades as they are a tight band, but most of all sound original and have a sense of humour. Am 57 and sick of my old fart mates telling me it's a dumb name for a band without listening to them- arghh.

The best ambassadors for the UK we could hope for.
I love the twang in Rhian's voice when she sings Wet Dream. Truly, Buffalo 66 is the most seductive DVD to own.
