Why science is behind when it comes to hair.
Androgenetic alopecia is such a common disease and their so not a good solution for it.

Its been 2 years I think until you've done a video on topical finasteride for MEN. Can you please do a new video on that topic concerning the new data you highlight at 2:35?

This is the only channel on hairloss related stuff that I can stomach. I mean you obviously have your own private practice and need to make a living, but it doesnt harm your content.
Frankly, I find it distasteful how some youtube doctors will sell, say, finasteride from their website and also talk about/endorse the drug. Where I come from medical professionals are viewed as being very, very distinct from salesmen and we dont want the two roles mixed. Also you dont talk in pseudo-confident clickbait imperatives. Love the socratic dialogue form you've got going. Works well for medical topics imo.
Would love to see you do an update on the whole "PFS" thing. There are many youtubers (even doctors!) who are now claiming that it is a thing. Im skeptical considering the lack of conclusive evidence in the medical literature, but a lot of young men would probably get peace of mind from listening to you guys talk about it again. I'm afraid it feeds into the anxious psychology of young men looking to social media to reinforce their prexisting beliefs/fears.

There is no clarity in the absorption of topical Dutasteride. It's better you use topical finasteride, atleast you can be sure it's working .

    Hai doc nice video.
Doc i am 22 yrs old since the past 4 years i am observing my hair loss deeply . iam balding and taking meds ( minoxidil, dermarolling ) soon i will add fin too. I shed hairs from everywhere of my scalp its normal can be a part of normal hair cycle. I shed hairs from donor area also the thing which is concerning me the most is i do shed 15 - 20 fine hairs ( all thin small weak baby hairs ). This type of shedding started some years back. I cheak my donor area recently with my doctor he said my donor area is healthy. But this thin hair shedding is making me sad and confused is this an early indicator that my donor area will became thin and this thin hair shedding from donor area a warning sign or this is normal. I hope u understand my concern and iam expecting a response..
    Have a nice day sir

Well my dermatologist said it's better but uses 7% Minoxidil with it. I tried it only once and got dizzy all day. I'm going to try finasteride topical by itself and see what happens. I used it in combo with other things so I wasn't sure what I was reacting to. It's so frustrating. @@marianmarian30

I use Hims topical min and fin. When I’m married and am aiming to have kids will this be a problem? Scared of birth defects of the future child

Minoxidil shouldn't be an issue in some animal studies when the pregnant mother was subjected to massive amounts of finasteride it there was a elevated risk of birth defects however the amount used was astronomical for peace of mind you could come off of finasteride for a few weeks prior to conceiving then get back on it afterwards they actually have a video on this topic

Yes, it could lead to birth defects. There is a reason they say women shouldn't even handle these pills.

If you’re trying to get pregnant while on finasteride and minoxidil it can cause birth defects. However, once you stop the medication and then get pregnant then it will not be an issue.
