Canada and USA by getting the stuff manufactured abroad is actually exporting inflation. I will explain. It is cheaper to produce a shirt in Bangladesh. If that shirt is produced in Canada or USA that will be quite unaffordable and inflationary. so we are exporting part of our inflation to a third world country. Also constructing a house is more expensive in Canada because the required heating and cooling also safety by-laws. Cooling in Kerala with so much of power cuts? That is a laugh. retirement in Kerala ? Playing cards round the clock? Here I go to my cottage in summer and winter. I can cross country ski in winter, ice fish or just watch snowmobilers going by. Or go to Florida, Caribbeans, Costa Rica or South America. Summer is just wonderful in Canada. Kerala is not even a comparison.
