    Dear Sir,
Please stop comparing your life in Canada with life in India. Because your kids will be the ones who will suffer. This confusion in you and your wife will complicate their thoughts. Let them adapt to their birth place and gel with that culture. You have taken a decision to settle in Canada and stick to it. As long as you are happy and content, any place is heaven. Stay put.

I will retire in kerala. Please note I have my friends with foreign passport come back to Kerala and Bangalore and teaching the children there and also now they got enrolled to engineering and medical colleges. Anish bro. Myself lived in foreign countries over 25 years mainly in europe/australia /singapore/ usa .
I was never contended living in any if those places for various reasons.
I loved kerala and india and search for this places vibe and food in which ever country i resided before
In holistic approach and view. If u can live with in ur means u live a real life in kerala
Money is never enough if u r behind material acheivements.
Yes kids in india study a lot . Specially cbse syllabus is bloody hard for a 6 year old child.my son couldnt cope and he struggle till he was 11 yrs old to pick thing up .
Kerala will improve once the current political bastards dies off .. living standards in kerala is not bad .
Think long term and wise .
I disagree with ur wifes pre judgement of kids cant adjust. They will adjust fast when they r younger.
If a child is smart they will study anywhere. We have many from kerala who studied in oxford / cambridge or standford unis ..
No point living in a foreign country with uncertainity rather live a real life in ur home country if u have basic means .

This is my perspective. Our intention is to relocate to India within the next 5 years. I've initiated investments in the country, and after this period, we plan to retire at the age of 39. Currently, our child is 4 years old, so transitioning to the Indian education system should be seamless for her. We do not foresee working in India. We'll maintain Canadian passports to address any potential political or economic uncertainties in India. Additionally, having Canadian citizenship will facilitate my child's higher education. Choosing not to work and live in India means avoiding a lifelong commitment to mortgage and taxes. Returning to India with an OCI card allows us to pay taxes only on interest or profits, which is significantly lower compared to Canada. This way, we can savor the later years of our lives.

Fed up of waiting for hours and hours at the doctors. Healthcare is a joke. 3 million Canadians waiting for surgery. 11000 Ontarians died waiting for surgery. Inflation and Covid led to increase in prices of groceries, restaurants and retail. Housing, don’t even thinking about it. 1.3 million for a single family home. Matchbox size apartments avg price 700k plus in Toronto and Vancouver. Canada is overflowing with international students and foreign workers, and the ones from North India are destroying the reputation of south Asians with their lack of civility and bad behaviour. Leaving all this behind, going to settle in a gated luxury society in Bangalore which will cost us a fraction of our monthly income even if we We work from home

Dear Anish. I'm 71 years old. I visit Canada every year because of my daughter who lives in Guelph. I was in a cushy job in UAE and had this urge to return often and one day 30 years ago I made the most stupidest, idiotic decision of my life. I returned to my motherland and started as a farmer. " Naragam" started that day in my life.
My sincere advice is to hang on there in Canada somehow.
I'm not poor. I make enough to do my annual travel and dinner at Keg or Red lobster without accepting a cent from my daughter. The only reason why I don't move to Canada is because I cannot encash my farm because of some stupid laws and because of medical requirements at old age whuch is suspect in Canada. Work hard. Save as much as you can and in the meantime enjoy life. Of course you are a second class citizen in Canada. Come back and you will enjoy being the 5th class citizen in your own country.

Recently I saw a post in LinkedIn from an Infosys Project Manager from Bangalore or Hyderabad. His daughter is admitted to the hospital and under treatment for a life-threatening disease. His insurance from work covered almost 25lakhs (maxed out) and he spent another 30lakhs from his pocket and finally he ran out of money. Then he had to beg people for her treatment and these hospitals won't do anything unless they get the payment. Please note that this is not an experience of a daily wage worker or a poor taxi driver, rather somebody who is well paid. Yes, health care might be good but the hospital fee is huge and inflated even with insurance. Also please note that the grass on the other side always looks green!

About education, why do Indians love cramming every fact and figure in to young minds? No child here in Bangalore loves going to school. Mugging up textbooks and notebooks is horrible. Living costs are going up and interest rates will stay high, around 4 to 5%, for the next 20 years. More people are moving to Canada, but there’s no increase in facilities or understanding of the job market. This makes life harder for new immigrants. Right now, things aren’t great. All these issues could lead to lower incomes and a worse quality of life in Canada.
Given India’s growth rate and the slowing pace of Western economies, we can expect to see an increase in reverse immigration. Essentially, the Indian economy is like a rocket ship, poised for takeoff!. While India has a lot to offer, there are areas that need improvement. The work culture could be more dynamic and innovative. Most importantly, the safety and freedom of women should be enhanced throughout the country.

I believe that less than 10% of people nowadays immigrate for the quality of education. Admission to top institutions in India, like IIT, or Ivy League colleges in the West is extremely competitive. Most people immigrate for economic reasons, seeking to improve their standard of living. However, the standard of living in the West is declining rapidly.

Indian education doesn't teach critical reading, listening, veiwing and learning skills. Criticism is not acceptable in Indian culture. Meaning, we don't learn the way we must. But when we start doing masters and above we struggle because there we require critical skills and educational networking abilities.

You have worked hard to buy your dream home, try not to sell it, great achievement.
If you get 3.5M or 4 M then you can sell otherwise don’t sell it at all, so that you can make good money after mortgage clearing.
Within one year basement work also complete and give it for rent, do not stress yourself.
You are a capable person you can manage, work for your children, you can do it. Your wife also working, you both can manage this difficulty.
You can upload your real life videos, you will get more comments, likes and subscribers. So that you will get some extra money.
This is only the opportunity to come up in your life for a middle class person, for yourself, for your wife and children.
Interest rate will come down after two years, therefore you have to manage two or three years only then you will settle down.
    Yes YOU CAN.

Speaking of Traumatic experiences, Canadian Education is not better too, because our childrens belong to a visible Minority and there are bullies in the School and class, thats human nature that they will face various discrimination… My wife is an Early Childhood Educator and works at an institution with children from 1 year to 4 years of age, but the elder children they are mostly friends with their racial group and she has seen many incidents where this White childrens punching the Indian kids and the brown kids helpless situation is a disturbing story when I hear it, and its quite obvious considering the human nature and living in a society where we are visible minority… I dont want to share negativity but the reality is not that colourful, I agree that grown up Whites and Canadians are well mannered and good people but the schools where they are still learning to develop those qualities is swarming with these kind of incidents and experiences… thats also trauma for a kid BTW

I was a gazetted officer in the state govt for 10 yrs but still I took leave to work in gulf with family for 20 yrs and another 9 yrs..no savings for 20 yrs but huge benefits in the last 9 yrs,now retired and living off interest income, you shd remain till kids complete schooling and then come home with all your funds and live off a combination if interest, rent, etc, and as each child finishes school leave them to study in India or other good universities
