I didn't even know the signals behaved like that. I always put them at the entrance of the station, I've only learned from the basic tutorials and the scenarios about two decades ago, I just did as they did in the scenario's! thank you, gamechanger !
I use a slightly different multi platform terminus station design. It has a slightly higher throughput, but does sacrifice in it requires load bays. Its also one track wider than the station so it really doesnt shine till you have massive train volume.
@@joehelland1635 If you reach the throughput limit, just expand it, maybe add another line and split the station into 2x4 then 2x6 the another line and keep expanding as needed.
@@Gil-games i tend to heavily rely on my design for city end stations, and i use it throughout my others just as a visual continuity thing, as such its not great to bulldoze towns, so expanding past your initial size tends to be difficult. Because of this mine tend to be 8 to 10 bay stations and so i improved the throughput with a slightly optimized design focused on limiting track crossings. (0 in my case, but it does have bays for each platform) i tend to play on marco’s hard servers. Tons of fun seeing other peoples solutions to problems in real time :)
After decades of playing this game, today I learned you can change the direction of the signals
Take my sincere condolences.

Started to play this game a month ago and I was having difficulties with signals, thank you so much for this tutorial
Great to hear, if you need anything, hop on the discord and ask.
