This game never seizes to amaze me. I have played this game since DOS and it is still installed on my today's computer. And bro you are really good in making these tutorials short and discrete. Good job man, chapeau!
Hey LugnutsK. Really impressed by the all the knowledge you sharing here. I try some of the designs i found on the openttdcoop blog. Still having problems implementing the Advanced Building Revue 01: The conditional overflow because its not really clear from the picture what signals to use before the depots, inside the timer and in the merging bay. Thanks and keep it up.
Thank you so much for that video!!!! I love your voice I love the way you explain This video is just GREAT! Liked/Subscribed Can't wait for more! Keep up the great work!!!
I can never make the last one to work. I have set that command line parameter to On (1), make every signal as shown in the video, position the depot and rail as shown, but the incoming train always choose to make the u-turn when the platform is full. It never choose the depot. Any suggestions?
Whenever I add depots in like this they end up holding loads of trains, then I get notifications that they can't find a path to continue because there are so many waiting. How do you avoid this?
Late reply. But my solution is ... to turn of train warnings. A lot of the advanced techniques cause trains to think they're lost, like overflows, pathfinder traps, self-regulating networks, etc.. So at a certain point it's just best to turn off warnings.
Every time train go to dead end and after change direction to go to depo I have a message popup that train is lost. So if I make a bunch of these overflows it will spam.. but if I somehow turn that messages off I'll miss true problems..
And also, if i make connected two of these overflow stations new trains start to loop by those crosses before output signals and go circles from one to anoter (5th variant of ovflw)
@@LugnutsKI managed. Thanks anyways. I'm finally building with overflows now and I also started building with logic thanks to your vids. Btw we're waiting anxiously for your let's play to continue, because I want to learn how to build these amazing networks with bbh's, slh's and msh's, mainly to be able to join the openttd coop games.
@sruly fasten You need to download RAR file opener and html editor ... than copy openttd.cfg file and edit 295 =two_way end of line = true.. than copy this CFG file to .openttd > openttd.cfg And turn off 90 degree turn of train in game setting otherwise this setting will not work...
Oooh my goodness at 2:35 that is uncle irohs song from ATLA 😭💓
Great video. I gave up on looking for proper tutorial videos for OpenTTD. Cannot wait for part 2 and more
LugnutsK if you read this, bring back more complex videos about Openttd. I miss them 😢

I love the music it's "leaves from the vine" from ATLA❤️
set yapf.rail_firstred_twoway_eol 1
There, for those like me who came back trying to find what that command was :)
What does it do when it is true?
To me, the rail line in the beginning looked more like spaghetti then a rail line

This is a great video and all, but I wasn't mentally prepared to hear Tale of Iroh again
Thanks, I'm sorrry ;_;
You're such an OpenTTD professor :)
Amazing the overflow system it really works
Excellent tutorial! I subscribed
Glad I could help!
Came for junctions stayed for Little soldier boii
After the second time I watched this, I think i got it :)
Thanks
Great video!
Thanks!
What's the name of your cargo station GRF? It's awesome! Also, thank you for the tips (for someone who plays OpenTTD since 2014)
ISR Industrial Station Renewal. Thanks for watching :)
Can you make something like the grfs you use because how do your trains pass through unconnected tracks!
He actually made bridges invisible via ctrl+x

Wow, very clever trick with those depots!
9:46 exact same signalling in jgrpp 0.40.1 and trains just ignore it and instead cause a gridlock
Not sure what i did wrong
Thats very cool but i still use the ttd train building technic and hat it to mix differen cargo trains on one railroad

Hi, I have problem reverse on my stations doesen't works.
Did you make sure to `set yapf.rail_firstred_twoway_eol 1` in the console? I can take a look if you post a link to a screenshot (i.e. imgur).
@@LugnutsK I was start my brain and I use your depo trick, but I don't place depo, but reverse :D
Wow i like this trick white train depot👌
There's a recent patch that fixes this I think (Unbunching)
You just had to add Iroh's Song, did you? ;(
Please, with subtitles English. I'm not fluent in listening to English
The automatic subtitles are pretty good. In the future I will try to review them to make them official subtitles
If you know openttd! Just watch like me, greatings from war zone Donieck! ✌️
I tried setting this end of line setting on android, it didnt work.
I'm not sure how to do it on android unfortunately

Another option, my friend who plays on Android has since told me: In the bottom right hand corner is the console toggle button.
