Thanks for a stunning time watching this peace of art comming alive. Never seen anyone that can do matic with a palletknife like you just did. Just Briliant :)
Yea ~. "Add a little crispness in the detail" ~. Made me smile. So sweet. I pray you keep doing what your doing there Richard. Thank you so much. Wishing for your continued success!
👋Sorry for the delay, Richard, I hope you had a lovely Easter with your family. - Thank you for presenting us with this absolutely wonderful painting of a sun-drenched landscape. Once you had applied the bright areas on the river bank and the light-colored tree trunks, one got the impression of the presence of warmth, even though you are heading into the colder season at the moment. The horizontally lying dead tree trunk, together with the direction of the river's flow, forms a good contrast to the other, vertically growing trees on the bank. Horizontals, verticals and the reflections of the surroundings bring the painting to life, as do the beautiful shades of blue. Excellent! No further words are needed, you have already said and explained everything, and, moreover, this work of art speaks for itself. 💖
Richard you are a true master. Your art and videos are truly masterpieces and have so much natural passion for the environment in which you paint immerse the viewer into your inspirational journey. Thank you ❤
G'day mate, back in the outback once again. You know I love your water/reflections and once again you nail it. Great depth to this and I think that the dead tree trunk plays a serious focus here. It draws the eye through. One thing that never stops amazing me is how you add the illusion of detail with so few strokes of the knife. I need to re-watch this one. Thanks for your generosity in sharing your passion, teaching and conveying your techniques and the process of painting. Cheers, Rich
Brilliant, as usual 👏. Is there any way of getting more of the subject in frame (video) while you are painting. Otherwise, an awesome piece. Love your stuff
Absolutely understood. Maybe when you've finished. Also I understand that it is not a direct representation of the subject The best part of this one is.... all of it!!! I'm sure this won't be in your gallery for long Thank you so much for responding
Gorgeous work, Richard! Nice to see you back outside again. I know you've been having fun producing a lot in the studio, but your outback vids really capture your paintings, subjects and working style best, IMHO. Your painting looks much lighter when out of the shadows, BTW. Brilliant.
Real nice! I'll tell you what I like the most about this painting. It's how you captured the water, and that dead tree laying on the edge of it. Somehow it just made the painting that much better! Love it!
Hi Richard! The river is so beautiful and tranquil, by now very familiar thanks to your great videos! Your interpretation of this pure, unspoiled piece of nature is exciting and then you manage to add beauty to this perfect scene, what a marvelous gift you have!
Hello Richard Perfect and terrific, there is nothing more to say except to wish you and your family a happy and wonderful Easter Kind regards Andrea and Günter
Ok Ok Ok... Another Brilliant display from you Richard. Just can not not take the time. But Richard, I'll tell ya. Out of control with projects here. Springtime for us. Warmer weather, yep praying for warmer weather. Richard i've got my 70th birthday in May and on fbMP I'm buying motorcycles. Really cheap motorcycles. Two I think is enough. Got that Suzuki 1200 Bandit and one of those Honda Nighthawk cb750s. So busy. All legal now. Tags and all. So the Bandit is popla in Australia. The back has been "tampered with" so I'm welding on a rack for camping. Maybe I'll include a small paint kit. Yea. Hi Richard. Just watched you paint this amazing picture start to finish. Your skill with the palate knife is exceptional. And so many colours blended to perfection. As well as your enthusiasm for the subject. A truly talented artist. Jim . 😊from England
Amazing as always! I paint with acrylics and believe you have inspired me to step out my box and try some oil paint. What oil paint do you use? There's so many brands out there.

I want to tell you about a way to paint that you might experiment with. Get heavy toilet paper without a pattern and blot your paint with flat toilet paper. It takes off the edges and it pushes the different colors down into different shapes. You can also take the same paper and transfer the paint elsewhere. Your work is beautiful. I am not a fan of palette knife, but you are really good with it.
In U.S. dollars, what does one can of your paint run?? The paint alone I might have to mortgage my home…… Just trying to put things into perspective…. ha ha Thanks …….. I really enjoy your videos and learn a lot……. I like painting , especially your style using the pallet knife, but the paint here in the U.S. is getting pretty expensive……..
