....I was born a knife painter and I feel truly blessed to have had your videos to encourage me in the transition from brushes to knives (and to larger canvases).., the purchase of large amounts of paint is a little scary but I'm thankful for these.., peace brother.
G'day Richard, another superb masterclass. The perspective in this seems to go on forever. I have commented on your technique with cliffs and water/reflections many times and once again you nailed it. Now for the sky, such a majestic paint on this, it enhances the overall composition and I love it. What a beautiful setting to paint in. Thanks once again mate on adding a positive to my day. Hello Richard, another beautiful painting with a lot of character like the landscape from which it comes. Undoubtedly the effect of the orange of the cliff which is confronted with the blue of the river and that of the sky. Bravo for your talent.

Получился взгляд глазами не тела, но Духа изнутри, охватывая огромную панораму живого, дышащего жизнью пространства.
На этом пейзаже для меня ассоциация с перетеканием неба в реку - это наша история жизни всех человеческих поколений... это отражение всех небесных тел, от которых мы тоже имеем, так или иначе, их влияние в нашей жизни и деятельности.... Всё взаимосвязано, течёт и меняется, отмеряя время этим течением...
И ещё ты передаёшь привет от всех небесных тел, которые мы не видим в нашем полушарии, а это дорогого стоит, как и посмотреть на обратную сторону луны.. ))
Потрясающие цвета во все времена суток через твоё хорошее видение цветового спектра... смешение красок на холсте - всегда магическое действо.... BTW, you can thin oil out with walnut oil and the spread will be 3x easier for painting. Jose Trujillo does that in his oils, which are half palette knife, half brush.

I have to say, I really enjoy your channel. I will watch your videos on my computer while sitting at my desk working on some project I am doing. I find it very relaxing, and fascinating to watch you progress from a blank canvas to a beautiful finished painting! I hope you are enjoying winter down under. Where were you? Looked a bit like the gorges near Hills End, NSW, but it obviously wasn't. I had a lot of trouble depicting the depth and the colours of a viewpoint from one of those gorges. I would be interested to see you tackle a deep gorge from the top. Thanks very much for your work.

I hate that cameras don’t pick up all the beautiful colors in landscapes.. not just this camera but all cameras… there is photoshop and other apps to get the colors close and artists like Richard to get the colors more vibrant… but it would be so nice to capture a landscape true to the actual one. I can’t count how many times I’ve snapped a pic of a landscape, got home, looked at the pic and been like WTH happened to all those beautiful colors and definitions.. never tried plen air. I’m too much of a perfectionist and would lose the light/shadows and would be chasing them and I would make a mess
