I finally had some time to sit back and watch this video, but I never did watch it while enjoying a cold beer, which I had anticipated on doing so. I actually just finished watching it while sipping some Chamomile herbal tea as it is after midnight here in Texas. I loved the entire video and the final painting is absolutely gorgeous along with the smaller plein airs. When you went back in the studio to do touch ups- You looked very debonair and well dressed, nice hat too. All and All, I just feel so relaxed when I watch your videos of painting, camping, canoeing, cooking, and enjoying nature. You're still my favorite artist and your videos have really advanced my painting ability and skill. I wouldn't be where I am today with my paintings if I had never found your channel. I could never paint like you because you are the best, as they say, the GOAT (Greatest of all time). Keep painting!

Helpful to watch someone work. Thank you. My background in scientific illustration is polar opposite from the plein air impressionist style. Need to try that cake decorating spatula you use to shake me out of the ‘copy what I see’ habit.
