Richard, the scraping of your palette knifes remind me a bit of my old teachers scratching away on a blackboard (remember them) and occasionally scraping their nails which send shudders through us kids.
You are a master with the knife and I love your subjects.

Здравствуйте! Весь мастер-класс Ричард подробно показывает и свою палитру, на которой он ни разу не смешивал краску ни с какими разбавителями. Сама краска имеет в составе масло и не нуждается в её дополнительном разбавлении. В стиле рисования Ричарда нет такой необходимости.

Alright!!!! I'm sorry... but I'm enjoying that instead of editing it out, you not only left in the moment you catapulted paint across the room but that you replayed it in slow motion! The ceiling and even the walls in the entry to my studio have long been initiated with such flings of paint!!! I feel so validated!!😂💖

The colors of the water are superbly varied and create an incredible sense of depth with the help of the atmospheric background, the beautifully rendered sky and the cliffs disappearing into the distance. G'day Richard, you are getting these seascapes down perfectly. Such variety of tone. The clouds mirror the crashing surf, .contrasting with the flow of water through the rocks, brilliant. I love your work! As I look at it at the end of this video, I would be so tempted to take a brush and start blending which would ruin a gorgeous painting! Let me remember to know when to stop. Now I want to go outside and try out the pallete knives.
Knowing when to stop, keeping the painting spontaneous and fresh is the biggest thing 👍🎨💯
