I have just watched the above Water Reflection. Two years ago I had a massive stroke which I lost the use of my right side of my body, arms leg etc. I am now getting them back slowly. But I thought it had finished my art. But over the last year I have learnt to paint with my left hand. Watching you being left handed has certainly helped me. Thank you for showing your work, I certainly enjoy it from all aspects. Michael.

Richard, fabulous as always. But one suggestion: When studio painting please show us the reference photo you're using before painting (or during) for longer. When you're outback it's obvious because you shuttle back and forth with the video of the location frequently and lovingly, but in the studio we have no idea what you're aiming for without a reference. Thanks.

Fantastic! I love how you use the Belgian linen to create the contrast in the background. That alone must save an enormous amounts of paint compared to trying to achieve that color on white canvas linen or boards. This color I haven't seen yet and I have to tell you, it makes all the difference in the world eliminating killing yourself trying to achieve background. I love your work. Thank you again❤

G'day mate, wow what a beautifully lit scene. Great watching the natural process of cliff building sped up in the studio in all it's glory. I have said it before and I will say it again, a masterclass in painting cliffs and reflective water. Contrast is imperative. The little knife adding spots of apparent detail lift it to another level. One of my favourite paintings among many favourites Richard. Cheers, Rich
