    Grown man here and I find the Expedition a little too big. A co-worker drives one and she loves it. Higher spec models are very posh and loaded with convenience. If the current version of Sync allows climate control that would be one way of overcoming the no buttons or dials issue. Any inside info on the Fusion Active? 🙂 Always enjoy you guys.

    the door keypad is such a great feature that I wish other brands had.
    That said - the way it is implemented on this (stealth) is great 90% of the time - but the other 10% is an issue. I got caught out in a parking lot in a massive rain storm in a flex where water was almost going to reach the doors . . . and in pouring rain it would not read the button press. I was able to wipe my fingers on my belly (had a rain coat) and after a few times of trying this , it let me in.

    • @MicahMuzio

    We have a 2013 expedition EL limited and absolutely love it. I love the new ones too. But we got ours used and it’s paid for. The sticker on ours was 54k fully loaded. For that same model today it would be over 80k and I would lose the V8 we currently have.

    If you want cargo space get the Expedition Max. Remember that you can only use that car seat installed tilt if you have your seats installed with LATCH. If you are using the seat belt like is recommended for many convertible seats you will not be able to tilt the seat. That being said we have three kids in car seats in the expedition Max and love it. Bench seat is a must if you have three in car seats that cannot buckle themselves reliably. This giant car drives like a smaller car in my opinion when compared with other full sized suvs like the suburban and Yukon XL.

    • @rmillis3860

    • @jissanhuq3792
      @jissanhuq3792 Год назад +1

      It really is insane… especially now- with taxes it’s basically 100k. Our family makes a good amount and even then affording a gas guzzling SUV near 100k with extremely high msrkups n high interest rate is not touchable. You have to be taking in 500k+ a year. We make a bit above half that n modern prices are too much when having other family expenses

    That console setup in the Expedition is what I'd like to see trickle down to the Explorer. The Telluride has a similar setup, and I believe that it's one of the reasons people would choose the Telluride over the Explorer (though the Explorer has better crash test scores)--an well thought out interior.
