The magniride kept it level in turns, it was ZERO lean, you could take a ramp at 40 mph and it stayed in place. The turn radius was sharper on the suburban also, shocked me i had to get out and check if the rear wheels where also turning. Also, If you use the button above your head in the Tahoe you can slide the entire console back and that's where my mom put her gigantic purse
bought a 2022 Wagoneer used... at a tad over half price of the original window sticker. I don't see any lag issues on our Uconnect. No disconnecting. Wireless CarPlay is quick to connect. The only "issue" I've had with it is that occasionally the radio will revert to CarPlay rather than XM or FM. Only did that two or three times. In the short time, I've had it, no recalls have been published and all were taken care of prior to purchase. 5.7 Hemi and 8speed are basically the same as the Ram 1500 I had. The autos Start/Stop is MUCH more refined than the version I first experienced in a 2019 Ram that I owned for 9 months. The Auto Start/Stop was NOT programmed well and did not restart the engine until you let off the brake pedal too far, which resulted in the truck lurching forward. This Wagoneer, however works MUCH better. Still feel like the Dodge/Jeep auto start generator/motor is the best design.... and now it's dialed. So far, I'm thrilled with my Wagoneer.
I did an in depth hands on comparison between the Grand Wagoneer L, Yukon Denali XL, and Expedition Platinum Max last spring. My rankings were the same as in this video, GW > Yukon > Expedition. GW was the nicest and felt the closest by far to giving you parity between price and features. The Yukon's interior felt 1-1.5 generations behind the GW's interior at not that big of a discount. The Expedition, though the cheapest of the three, felt noticeably overpriced. The Expedition felt the biggest while driving, the Yukon's ride was flinty, and the GW was smooth all around. From an interior usability standpoint, the GW won hands down for storage, general space, and features actually used by a family. I didn't end up getting any of them, but I'm thinking about reevaluating once the '25s come out.
This comparison is trash. The GW is a much more expensive vehicle aimed squarely at the Lincoln Navigator and the Cadillac Escalade. The correct comparison should have been the Wagoneer, Expedition, and or the Tahoe/Yukon.
First video I have come across with you. i am always Grand Wagoneer video surfing, and I LOVE your enthusiasm. Upbeat. happy, and to the point. at 10:49, you had me as a subscriber. Keep up the awesome reviews. (and attitude)
@ALMX5DP I know it's me but I hate it lol looks like an after market 1982 tape deck stuffed into a pinto. Seriously to me it just looks like lazy designing on a 100k vehicle.
Check out the interior of the GMC Yukon Denali for the new dash layout. For some reason, it’s only available on that specific trim. I would have thought they’d also use it on the Tahoe High Country.
How could you forget to mention that the wagoneers third row has a moon roof along with the panoramic roof, and the rear liftgate glass does not open seperately
You must have had an old Yukon Denali. I’m ditching our 2020 Expedition Max for a 2022 Yukon Denali XL. Night and day difference in how smooth and composed the ride is in the Yukon. Same goes for the power train. Fords variant of the 10 speed is absolute trash - and I owned 3 Ford vehicles with the transmission so far.
@AnontheGOAT I rent SUVs when I travel and am routinely in GMC products. I like my Max limited better. Grand Wagoneer has a beastly engine that is nice too. My Max is quicker (even the specs show that), the transmission has been smooth and rock solid, and the 10 speed transmission is great on the highway. There's more fuss in the GMC, IMHO and it feels like it's working harder. This is the reason we have choices in how we spend our dollars I guess. Both are nice in my opinion.
@@calvinedwards4382 The interior is of more inferior quality(far more cheap plastics and hard surfaces strewn about the cabin), the ride is too soft in normal mode, it crashes over bumps, it can’t handle a turn without feeling like it’s gonna roll over, the transmission shift is horrendous(friend just had his replaced - 2018 Expy), my 2020 will eventually develop transmission issue(already can tell at 30k miles). The only good thing about it is towing capability and the engine. What’s hilarious is that you’re comparing a Limited to a Denali when the reality is that there is no comparison. A more fair comparison would have been the Platinum. My 2020 is also a Limited. The 2022 Denali that’s replacing is superior. The engine has tons of power, transmission feels like it’s not even there. The 3.5 ecoboost is nothing special until the turbos kick in. You’re only stating that the Expy is better because of ownership bias. I would too. But I have no loyalty. If the Yukon fails to deliver, I’ll be punting it too. But so far, doesn’t look like it.
@AnontheGOAT I'm not so much comparing as I am stating my preference. Of course I had options and I chose a Max bc I like it better. I love Denalis and Escalades too but probably would get a Navigator bf I buy either. Next vehicle will likely be an upgrade to a large German or Japanese luxury vehicle. Anyway, enjoy your Nali.
Jeep/ Chrysler has the best experience building family vehicles. Decades of innovation with the minivans always pays off in their large vehicles. MOPAR all day
I'm not a Jeep fan generally and think the Wagoneer looks like a fridge, but I ended up with a Series III today and it was a beautiful drive. I think it had the 5.7L Hemi, which had just the right amount of power. But on the highway it was just incredibly smooth and easy to drive and the amount of room it had was really impressive.
The expo needs a redesign on the front dash and more leather. When Chevy drops the refresh next year it’s RIP to ford if they don’t do something quick.
Just rented an Expedition Limited for 2 weeks. First time with something like these. Mostly it was very good. Good power, comfortable. But the A/C wasn't fantastic. The liftgate didn't go out so high, or perhaps it was angled down a bit towards the bottom. Good head banging height for 6 footers. Perhaps that is adjustable more, but it seemed at its limit. As expected it didn't love being tossed around the backroads of connecticut. Other issues, the wireless phone charger location was difficult to access. While I suspect its the same for all, it was confusing when I first got from the rental agency. so many features, so big. Overall I think for the price it would be hard to find something better in terms of value. I always like small and fast but as I age comfort is nice. Also it held all 7 suitcases plus the rest of out stuff.
Nicely done! The Wagoner is impressive. However, I bought my 2019 Expedition Limited because I needed seating and towing capacity. But when you are towing, the important number is Payload Capacity. My Expedition with the Max Tow and Cargo package can tow 9300lbs and handle 1530lbs of payload ( trailer hitch weight + cargo+ passengers). This is better than many 1/2 ton pickup trucks. Would have been nice to see that comparison with the Wagoner.
I would never spend that money on a Jeep brand to trust it long term. Not to mention a new engine! These vehicles have so much going on already. The Wagoner is very pretty but way way too expensive and way to much of an unknown
With the wagoneer, you'll be on a first name base with the service department because thats where it'll spend all its time. I'm a chevy techinician that works right next to a ford and dodge dealer and you wouldn't believe how many wagoneers get towed in on a regualr basis, and thats info from a dodge technician I work with. For me its the tahoe or expedition i would put my money on.

I have a 2023 jeep wagoneer carbide, and it’s my favorite car we’ve ever had. It is very accommodating for our family, but there are some flaws. One of the biggest is there are no power mirrors.
I have to say I was always in love with the Expedition and Tahoe/ Suburban . However we hertz pulled came around the corner with three Wagoneer, I was like I know you have that white Suburban in back. But I was already late for my road trip so I just kept it. When I say I fell in love with the Jeep it was awesome, all 8 of us were extremely comfortable. The front passenger seat also had there own screen for entertainment. The only thing about this Jeep is that it is heavy, so you should plan to slow down sooner than you think you need to. Such an awesome underrated vehicle.
Don’t buy one. It was hard for me to admit because ever since it was released I just loved the GW and Wagoneers so much but they are extremely unreliable and will most likely be nothing but a headache and a factor to high bp. Maybe wait and see if they get their shit together for the refresh in 2025/2026. That’s still being optimistic in my opinion considering it’s a Stellantis product.
The wagoneer starting price is 20k more than the Tahoe. A more fair comparison is an Escalade and Navigator comparison. I sat in the driver's seat of the wagoneer and felt it was too small. Escalade kills it. The other consideration is reliability I will take the Tahoe and Expedition over a Jeep anyday.
The one thing they do not talk about is that for years now, Jeep has been the king of break downs, recalls, and overall reliability problems. I doubt that these headaches have been resolved in a years time.
Jeep: Okay we'll pay for the win, only because we are charging so much more for a product that is only marginally better on the surface. Ford and GM: We have market share. Do your best....
I’m at the market now for a large SUV. It’s between the Ford expedition and the Tahoe. Wagoneer just too expensive and I’m not a fan of it anyway. I’m leaning towards the expedition but the 2025 Tahoe update looks very nice to me in the interior. Plus I do a lot of highway driving so it would be smart for me to go with the diesel that Chevy offers.
We got a '23 Expedition King Ranch in August and we love it. Have over 10K miles with no issues so far, so initial quality has been good for us. Plus they were dealing on the '23 models, you could get $8K off and low 0.9% financing but I don't know if that's the case now.
My Boss has a new 2024 Grand Wagoneer Series 3 with the new 3.0L in-line-six cylinder dual turbo engine. The vehicle puts his Bentley Continental to shame inside. Gorgeous vehicle.
When you are the "latest out of the gate", and have a target, you better be the best out there (and for a price, you'll have to pay for it too). That brings the evaluation of the three very much closer (than maybe presented) here.
Hello...Mam my name is sandeep kamble from financial capital of India (Mumbai ) my question is Which is the robust and durable long lasting full size suv in your view for the Indian environment and roads here ???
The Tahoe might not tow as much as the others but that is a very small issue considering the Ford and Wagoneer are both turbos which don't last and when they die, they are extremely expensive to fix.
Feels like Jeep paid them to make this video. Also the wagoner has one of the top 5 most days of inventory because they are well over priced. Its still a 2 horse race with Tahoe and Expedition. I lean towards the Tahoe.
Yep their marketing standard very weak They painted a wagoneer and called it a grand wagoneer and choose Cadillac escalade and lincoln navigator as their rivals
No lady. No. Sorry. Tahoe 6.2 by far. The wagoneer is a large van. The leg room in the tahoe is larger than in the wagoneer. I would relegate wagoneer to 3rd place. The tahoe has 1 touch access to cameras . I took the tahoe for a road trip and in a mountain road where speed limit is 120 k/h or 75 miles per hour I rode at 80 milesxhour and the tahoe went flying uphill as of didn't exist. Smooth ride
Where’s the sequoia?? Wouldn’t even buy any junk from Chrysler fiat. And the Chevy is way old and not in the good way. Ford is ok but all of them are over priced
Jeep is the most spacious, the best interior and ride. Basically the best of the bunch!! And yes, Jeep sells the longer version as well and it’s more spacious than Ford long wheel base and the suburban.
The best is the Expedition, next the Tahoe and the last one is the wagonner comparing power, reliability, desing and price. This video was trying harder to find a way to make the Waggoner better than the rest when there are a lot of features it doesn't have and even when it is more expensive.
We were looking to purchase a wagoneer as well. Our Yukon denali 6.2 has had multiple failures, leaving us stranded over and over. Even the loaner we were given had issues cold starting. I've owned all the big competitors, honestly this can't be worse than my last 2x GM's.
I have a 2018 Ford Expedition and so far I’m not super impressed with it. The 10 speed transmission has had issues and my mechanic said he works on the transmissions a lot.
What do you think is the most important trait for a full-size SUV? Passenger space, comfort, towing capacity, a big V8, or something else?
Towing and payload, just wish there was a 2 row base utilitarian model for us car campers. overlanders. we have no need, want or will ever use the 3rd row , no luxury car bits = more payload and towing
Expedition xl stx offers 2 rows but no dealers order it

Ive had about 3 different expedition rentals and it rides worst than my explorer although i do like the ecoboost. I was never a driver in the wagoneer so i can't speak for its handling but it off the suburban and expedition max the suburban handled better.
First time seeing a review from you. Great work and entertaining.
You are going to have to do this review again next year since the Tahoe is being updated this year, and I hear the Expedition may be as well.
bought a 2022 Wagoneer used... at a tad over half price of the original window sticker.
Did you publish your comparison anywhere? Or is this comment just the analysis of your result?
This comparison is trash. The GW is a much more expensive vehicle aimed squarely at the Lincoln Navigator and the Cadillac Escalade. The correct comparison should have been the Wagoneer, Expedition, and or the Tahoe/Yukon.
First video I have come across with you. i am always Grand Wagoneer video surfing, and I LOVE your enthusiasm. Upbeat. happy, and to the point. at 10:49, you had me as a subscriber. Keep up the awesome reviews. (and attitude)
What a simp
Ugh, those screens that aren't integrated into the dash drive me crazy. Looks like lazy designers just glued an ipad to the dash.
Next year's changes in the GM trucks will be a huge improvement.
@ktpinnacle Hopefully, they fix that screen. And Ford also
As long as it's intuitive and easy to see/use, I really couldnt care less how it integrates into the dash aesthetically.
Yall there at Edmonds should U Drag these 3 row SUVs
Got my $$ on the eco boost!
@@daves913...same here
It's good to see Emme reviewing again
If you want to keep it forever, the Ford has aluminum panels that won't rust.
That power train will give it out long before that lol.
Ford have got the power train sorted out this is not the first generation my 2015 eb is very reliable 150k runs good .
@@anthonybartholomew2173 oh but you’re so wrong. Cam phasers, fuel dilution, 10R80 failures, etc etc.
That was a great video! Thanks!. You're a natural for this!.
How could you forget to mention that the wagoneers third row has a moon roof along with the panoramic roof, and the rear liftgate glass does not open seperately
I’m going Tahoe 100% of the time. No questions asked
All of these people trash talking the wagonner while never owned, driven, or even seen one in real life proabaly......
Having driven all 3, everything she said is correct. I would like to find a wagoneer 8 cyl especially if it’s the gw 6.4L
Ford also sells an eXtra Long Expedition with a lot more interior room.
And Chevy the Suburban
Same as the wagoneer
Which one is the most reliable?
The new wagone air has been proven pretty bulletproof so far
Neither
Jeep will break down like no other
They’re all pretty great looking.
at 8:43 she confuses the expedition for the Jeep, had me doing a double take
I LOVE my Expedition Max, and that's coming from a Denali.
@@calvinedwards4382 ah gotcha. Navis probably have the nicest interior but if I didn’t need to tow, I’d be getting a GLS.
Do any of these have 3rd row A/C?
Jeep/ Chrysler has the best experience building family vehicles. Decades of innovation with the minivans always pays off in their large vehicles. MOPAR all day
It is easy to see why Jeep is the clear winner here. It's no wonder they have the most awarded SUVs on the planet. There is a reason for that
I'm not a Jeep fan generally and think the Wagoneer looks like a fridge, but I ended up with a Series III today and it was a beautiful drive. I think it had the 5.7L Hemi, which had just the right amount of power. But on the highway it was just incredibly smooth and easy to drive and the amount of room it had was really impressive.
Awesome review. Hilarious and very infrormative!
I love my Wagoneer L, such a smooth ride!
Wagoneer with hd tow has max 10000lb tow rating
Wagoneer
The wagoneer hd tow package has 10k tow rating
@tracydjenkins Yes, got that out of the video. But more importantly, what is its payload capacity??
@@tracydjenkinsthat doesn’t amount to squat if your payload is only 1300lbs lol. You’re going off of Jeep marketing that’s unrealistic.
The Jeep Wagoneer is priced to compete with the Lincoln Navigator not the Expedition. The Lincoln Navigator starts at 83,000 dollars.
I'm sure the Tahoe will outsell both of them.
It's always "what I'm told" and never 1st hand experience....
@@nate.adv282 there’s plenty of videos to show everyone’s bad experience as well. 😜 it’s a wonder why there’s so many out there huh?!😂

@@RUclipsuser1aaThe point was that it's never first hand experience, it's always "what I've been told". How much of this nonsense are you going to believe? Probably all of it 😂😂😂
What about reliability? Which one will make me spend less time of my life talking to a service department and irritate me less because something stopped working on my less than 3 year old vehicle?
Wagoneer has more options than what she is describing. Check out the Series III Obsidian version. This will set you back $110K. I'm buying one. $$$
Emme!!!!!❤
Huge deal breaker for me is that they have captain chairs, only making them a 7 seater… for that size it better have 8 seats.
Same here.
you can option a bench seat on Expedition and Wagoneer. Tahoe is based on the trim you choose.
@@santanaharold84 you cannot get a Tahoe on a higher trim with a bench, makes no sense, it should be an option.
@@cesarhidalgo23yes you can lol

Great review, loved the video Emme.
i wanna see wagoneer vs grand wagoneer
Great review, and with $1000 for every time she said y'all, I could probably afford one of these.
im a chevy guy but im liking the wagoneer more and more
Don’t buy one.
@@ineedamaxwyn thank you for the advice and heads up. GM isn’t without their problems either but Stellantis is worse.
The wagoneer starting price is 20k more than the Tahoe. A more fair comparison is an Escalade and Navigator comparison. I sat in the driver's seat of the wagoneer and felt it was too small. Escalade kills it. The other consideration is reliability I will take the Tahoe and Expedition over a Jeep anyday.
on the other hand, there are 3 level of the Wagoneer. Level 1,2, and 3 competes directly with the Tahoe, Yukon, and the Escalade.
Emme rules! Great video!!
Before watching - my money is on the grand wagoneer.
It just feels like it's price. Even though that price is a lot
3:10 also, drive and reverse should not be two identical buttons about an inch apart.
At least make the move different directions.
11:58 bad news editors, I think a typo slipped through.
Too bad, I'd love this jeep for that price..... Not that I could afford it. Lol
😂🤡
I would trust Chevy with the 5.3 LS for reliability
Its not ls based anymore been like that for years now
Quality and reliability is probably the main concern on the Jeep. I never had a good one. So sticking with the Tahoe.
You can keep the Wagoner because it will stay in the shop.
Wagoneer. If it starts. And doesnt lock its brakes. And if the dash doesnt blank out. and if the warranty tech can even fix it.
Wanted to buy the Yukon xl but the front drivers seat only folds flat on the wagoner.. so i got the Wagoneer sadly.
So why not do the comparable trims not fair to chevy or ford
They did. This isn't the Grand Wagoneer.
My Boss has a new 2024 Grand Wagoneer Series 3 with the new 3.0L in-line-six cylinder dual turbo engine. The vehicle puts his Bentley Continental to shame inside. Gorgeous vehicle.
Very cool info and you are straight hilarious. I kept watching for the info but also the hilarious commentary.
As a chevy salesmen I can say the tahoe and gms, offering more engine choices and lots of room, its the best in segment.
Escalade, Yukon, Navigator, Grand Wagoneer 👍... the best
When you are the "latest out of the gate", and have a target, you better be the best out there (and for a price, you'll have to pay for it too). That brings the evaluation of the three very much closer (than maybe presented) here.
Emme's back!! Thanks!
Hello...Mam my name is sandeep kamble from financial capital of India (Mumbai ) my question is Which is the robust and durable long lasting full size suv in your view for the Indian environment and roads here ???
The Wagoneer has the best ride, but unfortunately it’s going to be in the shop too much for you to enjoy it😂
Those prices come with universal pay checks?
The Tahoe might not tow as much as the others but that is a very small issue considering the Ford and Wagoneer are both turbos which don't last and when they die, they are extremely expensive to fix.
Feels like Jeep paid them to make this video. Also the wagoner has one of the top 5 most days of inventory because they are well over priced.
Its still a 2 horse race with Tahoe and Expedition. I lean towards the Tahoe.
At the end of the day the wagoneer is a jeep and we know how well jeeps are made they are complete garbage
All dodge products are garbage 🗑,,and you pay for it all year 😂,,
Yep their marketing standard very weak
They painted a wagoneer and called it a grand wagoneer and choose Cadillac escalade and lincoln navigator as their rivals
Not true, Wagoneers are amazing
Wagoners might have some problems but I LOVE mine!
@@gerifarrell2585Escalade is far superior.
Tahoe the best
Boy I hope so! I'm ordering the 2025 when it comes available
I prefer the suburban
No lady. No.
I test drove them all, bought the Wagoneer.
Tahoe much better interior, less nonsense just right for an everyday use. Simple always is better the end of the day.
Good review!
I want a wagoneer!
This is not a good review at all
