Awesome harvest, allows drag the deer from the front because of how the hair lays it'll drag alot easier.
Never thought of that. First hunting season so will definitely keep that in mind.
Next time for sure!
I always put the front legs behind the head and pull from them. Keeps it from spinning at all while you drag
I'd certainly recommend keeping your orange on throughout the whole hunt. Congrats on the harvest!
Great video Allie, I ‘m so glad you harvested a deer , & had a great time! Love your video’s, be safe, stay healthy , God Bless everyone !
Yay! Congrats! Exciting to see what you’ll cook!
Yes! Thank you Tommy!
Drag from the front. With the hair direction they drag a lot easy.
Great job Allie nothing better then beautiful lady's hunting great video !😍
You got that right man!!
Yessssssssssss! Congrats Allie:-) So happy for you!
Thank you so much!!
Congratulations on tagging out👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 & good luck on you & Nick's upcoming hunts. I can't believe that trail cam footage lots of activity.
Thanks so much Ronnie!
Congratulations on your nice doe harvest! Extra special to have your friend beside you for the entire hunt!!!
Yes! Thank you!
Congratulations! I cant wait to get out in late archery.
Good luck!
That scene where your dogs lick the blood from your hands is absolutely savage and weirdly sweet at the same time. Congrats!
LOL true.

Thank you Juan!!
Well done Allie.. Congrats on your harvest 👍
Thanks for watching Mandy!
Congrats on your deer there and you looked great in your makeup there👍😉
Good stuff! Persistence gets the deer! You inspire us rookie hunters to stay focused and enjoy the experiences. Trailcam, Saddle, muzzleloader.. must.. resist..more...gear...
hahahhahah impossible!!!
Thanks for watching Denny.
CONGRATS!!!! I LOVE YOU AND STUFF
Congratulations on the Doe. Enjoyed the video as always.
Awesome! Thank you Eugene!
Awesome Hunt Allie! Nothing like Backstraps my mouth was watering watching the cooking. Also, you mentioned nose surgery. I had the surgery for a deviated septum and it was worth it but it was also 10 days of hell! I recommend it if you need it but just be prepared. My Dr told me it would not be a fun 10 days and he was right.
So delicious!
Nice 🦌🦌🦌 gets me excited for my trip at the end of the month!
Good luck!!
@@OutdoorsAllie thanks! Appreciate it! 😊
Congratulations that's awesome! It would be really easy to give up the way my season has been going so far!
Stick with it!!
I know it's just been a tough year for me!
Thanks, really enjoyed the video, I will be hunting PA for the first time this year in Potter co..
Good luck Dave!
this is my first hunting season, what are some of your favorite, most useful pieces of clothing you like to use? i’ve really appreciated your bag drag videos in getting prepared!
I'll film a video like that soon! Thanks for watching Adrianna!
Awesome vid. I've been bow hunting for 7 years and finally got my first bow kill last Sunday. Which at first I thought was a doe ended up being a Unicorn buck.
Awesome harvest, congratulations that venison looks amazing on pit boss
Thanks Nathan 👍
Congratulations! Well done!
Thank you!
Love the public land hunting videos. 🤟
Thanks Luis!
Excellent video.Congrats!
Thank you very much!
Great video Allie, love watching them, my daughter enjoys watching your videos with me as well. . I am gearing up my daughter for her first hunt next year in NY. She just turned 11 and is studying her bow hunters manual. She has to be 12 in order to bow hunt. My bow hunting has been put on hold for now due to a stent placement, I hope to be able to make opening weekend with rifle in NY on the 21st. Good luck to you and keep the videos coming.
So happy to hear that. Thanks for watching!! Tell your daughter I say hello!
@@OutdoorsAllie Thanks, she says hello.
Allie you are amazing, I absolutely loved your video. Congrats as well.
Thank you so much Lloyd!!
@@OutdoorsAllie I have 117 acres in New Hampshire and do well there with the deer, then I head on up to Maine for another. One thing that is always a bummer is to hear something coming in from a distance only to learn it is a stupid moose.
Congratulations! I find that "most" range finders tend to eat batteries if you leave the battery in the range finder - try taking it out when you're done - a bit of a pita - but will last much longer!
Interesting, thanks for the info!
Congrats kid!
Thanks Jason!
Love it 😊
WooHoo Congratulations!🤘👌
Thanks!!
Congrats on the deer. I got a doe back in early October. It wasn’t the biggest thing but it was meat in the freezer.
Thats what its all about!
Fishers are such a cool animal, I’ve seen one in my life. I live in NY.
They're awesome!
Finally a Real Channel! Your facial expressions are Classic
Thanks for watching Troy!
Nice! Congrats!
Thanks John!
Great harvest! My request for 2020...I would love to see some videos on basic butchering. Never learned this because we had the time and means to drop off at the processor but now with COVID, no one is taking deer. I need to learn how to properly butcher and package my harvest so I am not wasting meat. Thanks for all the great info!
Will do!
If you want to get into loose powder take a look at blackhorn 209 or tripple 777 loose. Loose allows you to really find what the muzzleloader likes. Not so important at 50 yards but at distance it can make or break you.
CVA makes a specific breech for it. But they weren’t making it 10 years ago when I bought my optima. I.e. I don’t find it completely necessary, especially if you’re just finding out if you like it.
Barnes makes a really nice saboted bullet. I’ve had success with powerbelts, which is a polarizing subject among hunters, but I’ve had success with them.
I’ve moved to sidelocks for the most part though. But what I learned moving traditional muzzleloading holds true for inlines. Also loose powder is cheeper per shot in the long run.
I'll check it out!!
Congrats Allie! I sent you an IG dm when you posted this story but I doubt you check it much, my girlfriend shot a deer opening weekend this year that was far from the road so after she got the guts out we cut slits behind the tendons like you would when hanging it, both rear and front legs, and used two carabiners to connect the back legs together and the front legs together then got a long stick that was strong enough to hold the deer and slide it under the carabiners and then we lift the deer up and rest the stick on your shoulder as you walk it out. Keeps it off the ground and you can move pretty fast.
Nice. I like that idea!!!
Congratulations! There's nothing like hunting and enjoying public lands with friends. And props to Nick for grabbin the camera too! Great footage! Do you guys ever see any mountain lion on the trail cams or in them parts in general? ✌
Thanks Josh! No cats here in PA.
Congrat's on the muzzleloader doe, Allie. Hope you get a chance at that nice trail cam buck with the bow.
I hope so too! Thanks Ross!
Have you tried using blackhorn 209, 80 grains, and federal shotgun primers, 250 grain sabot, great and I mean great results, good luck
No, but I'll check it out!
Burns super clean, clean up using your same gun care products
Great stuff!
Thanks Mike!
Yeahhh congratulations! Super!
Thank you!!
Good job, Allie!
Thanks Windell!
Real Hunter.Congratulations.
Thanks Denis!
Aye!! Finally got to see your video
Hope you enjoyed it!
I will be hunting in PA one day u are the best 👍🙏🏼🙏🏼👍
Awesome job
Thanks Tim!
Love the way you packed your sticks! 😂 btw. Is that a mystery ranch pack?
Yes it is! The treehouse model to be specific.
Awesome!
I think they heard you grunt when you drew back Allie.
Quite possible.
We have bunches of Fishers here in Vermont!
They're so cool.
John here agree with comment below mine never drag deer backwards always by the front logs and fences will strip the hair right off and alot easyer to drag.
I was wondering why I haven't seen anything from you lately then all of a sudden I got this video suggested to me to watch. When I went and checked it said that I wasn't subscribed to you and the bell notification was not set up to tell me you had new content. The last time I think I saw or watched anything was when you where in living on the road with you RV. I think you also had episode with an aggressive moose coming at you. I re-subscribed and hit the bell notification so all is good now. Must be a RUclips thing I guess. Nice video and congrats on the doe. See you on your next adventure.
Dang, that was a long time ago. Welcome back Tom!
Congratulations Allie
Thanks ron!
@@OutdoorsAllie you are welcome
I always see people use those wind checkers in the stand I don’t get it so if the wind is wrong which didn’t u check before u got up does that mean ur gonna get down amd move?
You and your friend are some very pretty hunters
Love it👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Glad you liked it!
Them leaves are like walking on cornflakes , it bugs me getting to my den with a ton of camera gear .. i have to walk toedown first or my heels thud on the ground , hard for sure , but affective . Sorry Allie great video , ( crush yhe middle of your battery with your teeth a few times ) just enough to dent it in a few places around the barrel area .. itl fire up a few times PS . That makeup really brings your nose out 😁
Nice job! How did the rest of Kentucky go?
Congrats on the deer! WAHOO!
Our muzzleloading season isn't until December. I was hoping to see a little bit more of your new rifle. What little of I saw left me wanting to see more. I think in the next year or two I might retire my .54 cal and get something different in a .50 cal. So what kind of rifle was that and do you have a link to the website?
For sure. I'll link it below.

Oh the CVA. I like that break open Action. However this gun doesn't come with any sights so your only option is scope only. I have a traditions buckhunter. I installed fiber optic sights, raised see through scope mount, and a 209 conversion kit. I tell you, to go from a number 11 percussion cap to a 209 primer, what a difference! A much harder and faster ignition, no time lag. And as far as the fiber optic sights oh, well that just self-explanatory they're awesome. The see through scope mount is a must have. I mean if you see a whole bunch of deer running in all directions and you're bouncing around trying to figure out which one you want to shoot you don't have time to mess with a scope. Or if you slip and fall and you use your rifle to keep your face from slamming into a big bolder, damage your scope you're basically done. You have no backup sights to use. Speaking of the see through scope mounts, I have a brand new set at home that I got a long time ago but it did not fit my muzzleloader. Let me know the distance between your mounting holes. It should either be 3/4 inch or 1 inch. If that mount will fit your gun you're welcome to it.
Allie, first congrats on the doe, meat in the freezer for ya. Second great to hear you are working with an promoting hunt wise. I love the app and they really seem like a good company. Keep on pushing out the great content.
Thanks Jay! Ya, they are awesome.
There are these delightful things called handled drag ropes. You ladies could use a couple. Put around the head and drag from the front end.easier
Yes, I have one but left it at home. Whoops LOL
Nice! Tag soup for me leg injury kept me out of the woods. Do you keep the liver?
Dang. Sorry to hear that. No liver for me, but we do keep heart.
Great job .....
Congrats! Nice buck on the cam. I thought those coons were gonna climb up your tree and get you! 🤕
LOL they are curious little creatures.
Just seen your video and was wondering if using the saddle safe and comfortable to use. I'm wanting to get one for this hunting season.
There are inherent dangers for sure, but yes I've found it safe and comfortable when properly used!
Take those triple7 pellets and primers and throw them right in the trash. All they do is foul your barrel with crud, making it difficult to get another bullet seated if you need a second shot. There's nothing worse than having a deer standing broadside within range and you can't get the gun loaded. (been there, done that)
Get yourself some Blackhorn 209 powder and some standard shotshell 209 primers. There will be a lot less crud in the barrel with the blackhorn.
They did make quite a mess. After 2 shots the thing was basically clogged.
@@OutdoorsAllie If you do switch over to using Blackhorn 209, you clean your barrel with good 'ole Hoppe's #9 not water..
allie let him know if the scop is off to bore sight the scope be for making adjustment it will help get it on target and less time wasting the powder and salbot
Thanks for the info!
Great job Allie, I see you are using Muddy sticks. They are secure on the back of your Tree house pack? I see they were not stacked together, any reason? Keep up the good work.
They don't stack extremely well, but they stay snug in there just about any way you strap them down!
Sweet!
Oh yeah!
Congratulations badass video 📹 😊🤘
Thanks Dwaine!!
Good job congrats
Thank you!
Allie congratulations on the nice deer! I don't know what happened but I know I was subscribed to you but found today I wasn't. So I subscribed again.!
Awesome! Thank you Bob!
Hey what type of range finder are you using and do you recommend it?
Vortex, yes it has been great for years now. I'll link it below!

So now that you've hunted with the saddle, what do you think? I'm trying to decide if I want to go the hunting from a tree route and if so which way.
I like it a-lot. Especially if you plan on moving around.
@@OutdoorsAllie I live in Utah so that really how we hunt unless we're waterfowl hunting.
Any thoughts or experience with using synthetic doe estrus? Thinking of trying it
I haven't had any success, but some people swear by it!
Awesome video!!! Just curious what camera setup are you using I’m wanting to start self filming next year!
Thanks Josh! I've been using this camera in the woods for the past couple years. Good vlogging style camera with some nice features for the price!

@@OutdoorsAllie Sweet thanks! Keep the videos coming!
congratulations kiddo! did u say its not even "pre rut" yet??? I live in PA and I'm at my hunting cabin in NY rite now and we are in full blown rut right now!
It sure is on now! This was a few weeks ago.
Ha ha smoked it. Congrats on filling the tag. ya its dumb luck to have the deer use your camo of the leaves against you. But you overcame the disappointment. cant wait to see something scrumptious made 😋.
Thanks for watching Jon!
About 10 years ago I was camping and some woods near my old house just laying as sleeping bag out in early March on the ground and I actually had one of those fishers run over my legs startled me for a second cuz in the little light of the Moon it looked like a wolverine and that's how I found out by researching that they're basically like a little wolverine in a way and they all belong the same family so yeah they are cool and I've seen in real life been about 10 years but yeah I did cuz like I said it ran over my leg and then I shined the flashlight on it get a better look at it and see what it was
Friend of mine saw “a great big fisher” cross a logging road a few years ago. He kept saying how big it was. I told him it wasn’t a fisher, because a friends said he saw a wolverine a few years before. Later that year the DFG posted a trail cam of a Wolverine near where he saw it.
Interesting. They're tough animals for sure!
Theres one on my property about the size of a full grown red fox.
Awesome hunt!! How are you liking that PSE nxt bow??? What's your thoughts??
Thanks Paul. Yes, I like it alot so far!
Very nice video as always. What type of saddle do you use? I'm looking into getting one
I have been using Tethrd recently! I dig it.
@@OutdoorsAllie thanks for letting me know. I'll look into it 😃 and hopefully be on a tree soon hehe
GAME CART! That's all I can say! I suggest a Hawk Crawler game cart.
I'll check it out!
Awesome as usual I am currently sitting in a pine tree with KC AKA kills and cripples my rifle on public land in FLA watching your video

Hi Simon! I like Stealth Cam. I'll link it below!

Don't draggem against the grain of the hide lol it makes it twice as hard!
Agreed!!! Drag that deer from the front/head! Much easier! Love your Videos!
Good call!
Thanks for watching Richard!
Congrats
Thanks Dave!
Awesome! Congratulations. I have a question if you see this....do y'all have to wear orange on private land too? Here in Texas you only have to wear orange on public lands.
Yes we do.
I had a flashlight that needed those kind of batteries. They're expensive and they're not easy to find. So bought me a rechargeable flashlight and a backup flashlight that takes triple A batteries.
Yes, i'm going rechargeable.
Get a Heavy hauler or HUNTER specialties deer drag $35 at optics planet $ 10 cheaper version at cabelas or fleet farm. Its like a back pack but a strap ( pull using whole body rather than your hands)& the other person was right turn the deer around. Or a Dual harness deer drag $10.99
Nick has a little rope that works great. I picked one up too!
Muzzleloader!! I look forward to that!
You and me both!
Where do you live freeking paradise? absolutely beautiful place ! Good job
Pennsylvania! It's a pretty place.
A Fisher is in the same family as the wolverine they're all members of the weasel family and the fish is the second largest member of the weasel family the wolverines the largest and yes they are pretty cool critters we've got them here in Ohio living in the swampy areas
Thats awsome!
