  • Land Rover fully redesigned the Defender last year for the first time in decades. with six-seat two-row 90s, the 90 lineup has been fully fleshed out for 2021.
    0:00 - Land Rover Defender 90 Intro
    0:29 - Rear Tow Lights
1:10 - Side Under Door Lights
    1:39 - Side Ladder
    2:45 - Extra Front Seat
    3:59 - Digital Rearview mirror
    4:53 - Front Seat Issues
    5:44 - Rear Seats
    6:42 - Exterior Details
    8:24 - Bloopers
The Defender competes with other off-road SUVs including the Jeep Wrangler, new Ford Bronco, and Lexus GX-but we expect many consumers will match the Land Rover against more mainstream luxury SUVs, as well.

I was given to understand that the "light show" was actually to check that the trailer lights were connected and working o.k. (without someone sitting inside the car operating indicators, brakes etc., and someone else outside, checking the lights).
From a Discovery Sport user manual "Trailer lamp test button:Press to start a 3 minute sequence for a vehicle and trailer light test"

@@AutoExport Well, what did you think the trailer + light symbol meant? In fairness, you did refer to them as towing lights though. Using them for other applications may be helpful and that is a good suggestion, but the last thing you want to be doing on a motorway hard shoulder is venturing to the the rear of the vehicle to switch on those lights every three minutes. That said, the red warning triangle is likely to be stored in the rear door I suppose, so it would give you three minutes of highly visible lights in order to setup your warning triangle and get behind the crash barrier.

@@andrewjones-productions Good point, after looking at again, as we didn't have much time with this on the first day, it makes sense that's it wouldn't work as effective as a hazard light, but definitely not something we've seen on another car so thought it would have been good to point out, but I can see people improvising and using it in other ways.

Good review. I agree about 2 door v 4 door. Same with ford bronco. I think the four door looks bloated

approx. in 7-8-years will see if this car match same quality with wrangler or prado or other best quality cars. if it does , in that case it will be a great buy. I deeply hope it will match. because the reputation of this brand is absolutely horrible.

@@johnreno8909 You could say it isnt even a paradox because wealthy people dont care about liability. They have so much money, they buy the big boys and if they break down, they pay the bills. Thats actual status.

not sure why they are so obsessed by the mid seat while the width of the car is not that wider than similar category cars…i would not want to sit in that tiny narrow seat in the middle..

    • @AutoExport

they offer lot of seating options, including the regular 2 front seats and 3 back. you can also go for 3 front and no back which would be good for farmers or explorers that my need an extra seat from time to time but want all the space in the back for equipment.
