As someone who was Christian stopped being Christian from church hurt and am slowly reconnecting with faith, I’m deeply proud of you. Authenticity is hard. Even for us young folks we just pretend we okay most times. I appreciate who you are even if it’s “churchy” because it’s clear that you live in love which matters the most♥️
That is so heartbreaking to hear. I’m sorry that happened. I’ve definetly hurt people in and outside the church sadly. But we can’t look to others to strengthen our faith. We must fix our eyes on Christ. But when we do hurt each other, we must go to one another and forgive just as Jesus forgives us. It is sad because God says that unbelievers will see that we are Christians by our love yet, people in the church hurt others. Praying that the Lord would heal you from that hurt as you continue to follow Him and that He would lead you to a good biblical church and make some good friends there💖✝️
First and foremost… Shout out to all the “early” millennials. Most of us have Baby-Boomer parents, possibly Generation X siblings & cousins, so there’s a lot going on for us. You are absolutely right about how we were brought up, to “ keep your business out the street “ and keep pushing…there was no time to be vulnerable. But through doing the “ work “ we learn to give ourselves grace, and to be vulnerable isn’t a show of weakness. It’s strength!! It takes strength to speak, stand and live in your truth. I don't want to vlog my house, I don't want to discuss my marriage... Interesting enough, I started following you because I’m a church girl who was able to discern someone who had a heart similar to mine. We have to be reminded that God placed us where we are the way we are because we are needed there. It is challenging when we do not “align” with others but that does not negate the face that this place was created for you by Him!!!! You are fearfully and wonderfully made. That’s it ❤
I love your comment! I have wondered why I've met some of the peoole I have. Worked the jobs I have when they aren't in my field. Nor anything close to what I like to do. I have met sone amazing people along the way. A lot of times we think people are coming into our lives for a reason or purpose. I have come to realize that sometimes it's both ways but mostly it's for the other individual. I say for them because we are travelers. We are givers. That's why our hearts get hurt when we know that all we want to do is help people. Inspire them. Give them something we didnt have but dont't want them to go without experiencing. Rayn gang! I've been rocking with you since I started my natural hair journey during the pandemic. I'm in my late 40's and your content has always been an uplifting vibe. I think you're being too hard on yourself. Most of us (if not all) know how important The Most High is in your life. Those that can't handle that, God will open the door of the nearest exit for them lol. They are not part of your tribe. Any one that would take the time to write "I unfollow", is coming from a negative place and has issues in their life they need to work on. That's their problem not yours. I don't listen to much mainstream music because it's low vibe. I listen to artist like Jimpster, India Shawn, Alex Cortiz, Lisa Shaw, Blue Six. Being an empath (as I believe you are to) it's the energy and the emotion in the music that is important for maintaining spiritual alignment. There is a quote I've been using to work on my own fears " I see fear for what it really is.....an illusion". It is our conscious mind that creates fear. So continue to be your authentic self and the "unfollowers" of the world will fall to the left as they should.. Love 💗 and blessings 🙏

Hey. When I was younger all I heard was "your hair so pretty " until I became my hair. I thought that was all I was. But God. I had chemo in 2012 and the hair situation changed. It won't grow, it's thin, etc. But you know what...He was showing me I was more than my hair. Go get yours. I can't wait to see YOU 😊

From a fellow pk we work so hard to not be “wrong “ in all of the different arenas of our life to the point that we start losing who we are. Almost 50 and I found out too late that the only way for me to not be wrong in all the different arenas of our life is to be authentically ourselves all the time so that we don’t have to manage the different selves we try to present to those different arenas. There was a time I felt like I had split personalities trying to be all things to all people types when I could only successfully be me. If the authentic you isn’t enough for someone, then thank you ex-next…thank them for doing you the favor of deleting themselves from your life. ❤

I didn't even need you to say you are a PK, I recognized myself in what you were saying. You are being such a blessing to me. I stopped making videos long ago because of all the life "crap" going on with me wouldn't "look good" to other folks. I always had a praise and a testimony on my lips, but I was selective about where I spoke. I held onto the lessons I heard as a child "be seen, not heard", especially when it came to feeling I had a message (Pastor Wms wasn't having that). Now I'm learning better and being drawn to others like me. Thank you for being vulnerable.
