oh bc i haven’t found anything new lol. it’s what i’ve been using and failed to mention it. but it’s the doux custard, innersense and combat gel. i have videos on all three 🫶🏽

Which combat gel do you use?
Wetline and Eco both changed their formulas 😭 they no longer work for me
I just bought some Eco and I’m extremely disappointed. Instead of the olive oil and the Argan oil being #4 in the ingredients but now it’s at the bottom at #14.!

I said this a while ago about Eco. I have a whole tub of it that I can’t do a damn thing with. It’s the crystal kind too. Doesn’t work well anymore. 😢
Yes!! The (yellow) Argan Oil Eco used to work so well for me when I didn't feel like making flaxseed gel, or I ran out...All of a sudden I started getting frizz and flakes galore after using the recent Eco. I took a look at the ingredients list and then it all made sense. "Back to my homemade flaxseed gel" I went lol.
I thought it was just me! Neither of these work for me anymore either. I totally didn’t know they changed the formula.

This! I came here to thank her for introducing me to Wetline. I think I’m using the new formula with the clear gel & green cap. Only after Eco changed their formula did I take the jump.
Eco wouldn’t even last ten minutes in high humidity (my drive to work) had to tie it up and pin it for the day and even then it was a frizzy mess and no shine. Eco really messed up a good thing.
Had to order Wetline from the USA. Works super great in high humidity! Just don’t scrunch out all the crunch in high humidity, and don’t pick/or fluff too much. The humidity will help do that throughout the day without getting frizzy.
It’s ok new era I stop using wet line as well 🥹 they need to figure out how to turn concrete into a gel 😫cause Florida humidity it’s different

I use the same Wetline, but i add Softee grease before the gel. My hair is bouncing and BEHAVING! I don’t use a ton of grease but it’s working. Hair retention, none coming out when i pre-poo & wash every week 😊.

using wet line long term caused so much breakage for me! i loved it so much for about a year but after that it ate up alllll my moisture. now, im focusing on hydration so that i dont need such strong gels to hold my curls. so far so good!
I stop using it on my full head a few years ago, only as an edge control but I have old jars still which are almost gone 🤦🏽♀️. Went back to kinky curly and loving it.
Love your videos 🎉. Wet line works for a slick down look for me and even with that I am lucky If I get 2 days out of it. It would be nice if hair industry develop product for us who has fine strands.

Have you ever done Kinky Curly Curling Custard? I’ve tried eeeeeverything and always come back to it. Can’t find Wetline here. Bougie city. But an accessible, affordable alternative to KCCC would be great.
Off the subject. ❤ I have ran into 2 deep conditioners I believe you will love. I use both silicone mix and emergencia. Your hair will become drenched with moisture! Also for your wash and go, try this pomade. It's called level 3 hair pomade. It's very thick like you love and it has extreme hold. Love you!!!@
I haven’t bough Wet Line in a couple of years. The blue was always my go to. It stopped giving me the longevity results I was used to.
You were my introduction to Wetline in 2019, and my first successful attempt at a wash n go. I noticed the new formula not long after that but I have not been able to find anything else that even comes close to the results I get from Xtreme gel. So imma stick beside her for now 🥴🫠 I will try your new combo though!

GURRRRRRRL I literally just got a hair cut because I was so confused about why the dang gel wasn't working!! I thought maybe my hair was just not taking the gel because my hair needed a trim, or was too dry, or something! Thank you for clearing this up for me, I was confused for like two weeks!

that’s crazy because i can still get a wash n go to last 1-3 weeks using wetline. the formula change never affected me. that sucks it doesn’t work for you anymore
Wetline works for my curls but I've noticed that it irritates my scalp 😢 I try not to use it as much but some of these other "gels" dont have enough hold for me. Im still looking for something better to use.

I came across a video that says to take your new gel that you buy and leave the top off for 24 hours and some of the water evaporates out of it and gives a better hold like what we use to before all these formula changes. In the video she used ECO but I’m sure it would work with wet line as well.
I stopped using them as well and I think it contributed to my breakage in my temples!

As a natural do I need a leave in condironer if I'm deep conditioning with every wash once a week? My Mielle leave in I've used for years do not pair well with most gels I use. I didnt want to drop my leave in but at the same time I'm tired of going through many gels. I never had flakes from Wetline in the past and I've used my Mielle leave in then. But now it's flaking when I decided to try Wetline again

i stopped using wet line and gel in general in my wash and go’s GWOOORRLLLL my hair was retaining length like crazyyyy my hair got so long
It’s just dries out my hair and it will define it but my hair will be so dry and flaky.

I have been upset with Wetline for years. Amd finding that Sodium Hydroxide is the second ingredient (which is what they put in relaxers to help straighten hair)...I don't want my natural girls (curls) straightened. I can't find gels that do not leave flakes at all and keep my hair hydrated, shiny and making it through humidity. I ordered the Design Essentials Avocado gel to see how it works for me natural hair. Blessings~
The Sodium hydroxide is for Ph balance just like what TEA does in Ecostyler.
It is not in the concentration that will relax your hair.
The pink eco works so well in my curly hair

Sis I have tried wet line as well I don't like The way it made my hair feel. Finding Product that work on my hair with out it leaving flakes and stuff is frustrating.

I have never used Wetline in my hair, and I won't be trying it. I used to use EcoStyler but I don't like them anymore.

Wetline changed their formula. It does not work for me anymore. I emailed them along with several others but i emailed them in Spanish begging them to go back to the formulation they had before. It doesn't seem like they heeded the message.

Girl you need to use Jell-O shot eco slay and keep it pushing on the hold and definition. I literally wore it shrunken for a week and then stretched it on day 8 and wore it for another 3 days.. it was giving and the definition after stretching even after 7 days was still there. Very little manipulation after I set the curl too just wore it in its shape. I use wet line sometimes but it’s only giving 3-5 days max 👀😕
