- A Nightblade with a BOOM!! Landing JUST in time for the PVP Midyear Mayhem event for the Elder Scrolls Online!
That's what people want right? Bomb blades? Well here is a "bomb blade" with a difference! THIS one does it from MAXIMUM range! The design of this build is simple. Stay back, don't get hit, blow up rooms!
A sniper is not an unusual concept but many fail with a simple snipe spam not doing enough damage. This is designed to mark, and cripple the target into a possition where they are so pinned down, they can do nothing about the incoming damage, and if THEY die, so do their friends.
Most bombers are risk vs reward. You jump into a group HOPING to take people down, and if you fail (which happens a lot, people are tanky) you are left there with your pants down and get splatted.
NOT ANYMORE! Take full advantage of cyrodiil, passives and propelling shield buffs to be that bomber from as far as 48-55meters away! Maintaining a safe distance from your opponent!
The build works great on it's own to help support Keep defenses and take overs but it EXCELS at being part of a co-ordinated team. 2-5 of these working together co-ordinating and picking out targets is game OVER! NOTHING can stand up to a "Ballista Barrage!"

First night the build was out i did a full live stream in a POP locked campaign ON live getting stream sniped to shit and back and it STILL kicked ass.
The information and video footage is already there. You're just not looking in the right places.

If you have ever watched any of his live stream reruns of PVP you would see that he is actually very talented he just doesn't like to do it where he's going to get triggered by stream snipers. He also isn't a fan of running behind stuff to rebuff and getting back in the fight, he would rather stand and fight rinse and repeat. I feel like you guys are bashing him to promote your own channel

@@xynodegaming i checked those videos out , there isnt any clips of you getting a bomb, as some one that pvps day in day out. this is just a bad build, i see what your trying to pull off, but as some one that trys soooo many builds only 1or 2 may make it past testing, i know its hard to bin a build when u have spent time and gold on it, but this build needs to be binned.
@@JTKGAMING14 Im still newish to playing the game and have been pvping since lvl 10 and am now cp600... a quick glance at this build and you can tell he has spent very little time researching it... the best ability he uses is snipe and has nothing giving the ability sustinece, this build need to be archived as a terrible build so that others know what not to do no matter how much gold he spent on it

OK, so I've tried it out and I found it very difficult to get a kill shot on an individual in a group that's moving around. Even getting the proc to go off on someone standing still in a group camped on a resource flag is difficult. I did manage it once tho and killed 3 people! What worked much better for me was slotting Dark Convergence instead of Hrothgar's: Detonation then Cripple into Meteor (Dark Convergence proc) is a lot of fun !
Good game! As xy said many times it's your build, if you want to swap something go nuts. You found something you like use it! It's fun though right?

Have you considered swapping snipe for crushing weapon? You can drop reapers Mark and put cloak back bar then put merciless front bar. You'll be more mobile and a crushing weapon light attack assassin's will combo hits hard af

This works okay as a group stunner, i just tried it. But its hard as executioner, so you will need the executioner in your side
Nooo!!! Why do this mate? It makes me second guess even your PvE stuff which I am starting to follow your guides on. Maybe me being kind of trash means I can spot fellow trash when I see it. Shooting a spitball 2 kilometres away doesn’t make you a deadly sniper, it makes you an NPC with a range bug.

Would the bomb not be more effective stacking mag glyphs on the armour instead? I find I have tonnes of spare stamina, but could do with a bit more magicka. I know you explain mag sustain in the vid and on the written guide.
max resources buff the skill, not magicka specifically. This was changed two patches ago. Don';t worry it works as intended.
Even been using it on live stream for people that are concerned ;)

I understand you want people to watch your video, but I've watched it multiple times and used the website and I'm having a hard time finding the kill combo that you recommend. I know it's discussed somewhere in there but it's not really highlighted. Is it buried somewhere in your website and I didn't see it? Because I'm trying to get the build set up
Okay so I found everything I could in the video, but specifically I don't know the optimized timing for the shooting star ultimate and the Venom Arrow shot. It would be really helpful if you specifically delineate the recommended combo if there is one, I am someone who is sincerely planning to make this build work but I need help LOL
I'd have to do something about that health recovery because its halved in cyrodil and with everyone running speed and dks leaping you at range glass cannon is too risky for the floor. I can see how this would be nice from walls.
Healing and health recovery is halved in cyrodiil yes.
I said clearly in the video battle spirit has to be considered.
I explained in the video also this is about hitting from HUGELY enhanced range.
LEAPS are not considered with those bonuses of any kind. If you get hit with a leap. You're playing it wrong. ;)

I play melee glass canon and do just fine. Sitting on the walls is what loses keeps
@@lt.danicecream not true. The folks that sit the walls and oil the door, do the quick repairs and heals, man the seige etc are just as valuable as the melee folks. Remember not everyone has the ability to glass cannon it.
@@blktauna ive seen many times where a group sitting on the wall could push the enemy before the keep even flags.
The only time somebody should be on the wall is if its flagged. Then quickly move off the wall and set up fro breach before the door goes down.
Most ppl sit on the wall the whole time when a keep push could be stopped before its venue flagged. I've seen this crap happen every time im playing.

Hold the right stick(or tab target) to lock onto them

PB only blows up if it ends, This applies instantly as soon as you immobilize someone, which you can do from UP TO 48m range with this and can be done every 7 seconds, which is well within the CC for immobilization cool down. It's not the matter of which SET is better, it's about it's application. On THIS build, that set was poopoo! But on others, yes it can be awesome.

Sorry to tell you man but this build won't work super well... a better source for PvP would be dottz deltias or possibly sawmanuk or alcast, otherwise this guys guides are reliable and his pve builds are unique and will let you do midgame content fairly easy
this is the worst build i think ive ever seen for a NB in pvp. i get trying to be different, but playing this build would make any new player run for the hills screaming in terror after being obliterated by literally everyone. VD is the only thing you got partially right but youre not going to get vd to proc when you hit like a noodle and cant kill anyone

He doesnt know how battle spirit works. this video is clickbait for midyear. Ive seen much better builds from alcast and his pvp builds are also terrible. If you think the build will work then you go try it. Please clip it and upload it. Id love to see it 😉 .
@@xX.D3DP00L_Xx I unfortunately don't have as much time to play this game as I want to, but I might do what you're saying. Also he definitely does PVP, he just doesn't like recording or streaming it. He completely filled his Battleground sticker book and he is very knowledgeable about all of the things that are going on in it. All these people who tested it to be funny are using confirmational bias and probably not testing what he says to do.

Use what you like, the game is about choice, but the builds are more than just slapping two sets together.

Thanks for this build. Sounds wonderful, on paper; but definitely will be tricky to get everything working at once without dying for someone with my fat, stubby fingers. I often refer to your builds and dungeon guides; and I'll definitely give this a try. Thanks again for all your advice; and a build that doesn't require a bloody, damned mythic! Also, for folks that like to play around in No-CP campaigns; I don't believe any of the three sets; Hrothgar's, Vicious Death, or Sellstrix will proc in No-CP campaigns so the build won't be quite as useful.

Why does the written guide show all light armor?
Because in the video (which is where the information is, the written guide is to supplement it, not replace it.) i said you can go with 6 light and 1 med, OR you can go with 7 light. The choice is yours :)

Had to watch this again because I'm very interested in it. I noticed that venom arrow is on the opposite bar of your main combos, and you didn't really talk about it when you were talking about pressuring the target during the gear section, would it hurt the build at all to put shadowy disguise on the opposite bar and have venom arrow on that bar so you can apply that as part of the combo damage? I would guess the reason for having shadowy disguise on your attack bar is if someone discovers you you can get out of Dodge very quickly, but as the build is it's difficult for me to figure out when it would be appropriate to use Venom Arrow. Always love your builds thanks for the cool stuff!

This is amazing LOL! And ballista is such a perfect name, it's a Siege weapon that doesn't have the mercy of telegraphing where it's going to land LOL I love that this requires a lot of skill and timing because if you do it really well it's devastating but if you're just mashing the buttons it almost doesn't do anything. I feel like I'm going to have to build to counter this in mid-year Mayhem cuz I'll bet there will be a lot of people using it once it gets out👊
@@EryssLEGO really? Yes of course, but you know how when you fire a Siege engine there's a big red circle showing you where it's about to land? Also that Telegraph doesn't matter as much when there's a bunch of crowd control at the same time and it's difficult to get out of the way. If you're on Xbox NA I'll hit you up with this sometime lol

Been looking for a non-meta Interesting bomb build for a while, so thanks for this - a good quality video and very well explained throughout, so much appreciated! I've read all the comments here, including the negative ones, but 'if in doubt, try it out' is good advice, so I'm gonna do a little more research then try it out. I'll post back here in due course to give feedback.

@@IrishOphidia nope, not at all > Hroth used to be an amazing set before it was hard nerfed, which when paired with Vicious Death, (or Dark Convergence, which was also nerfed by the way, just not as hard, obliterated everyone in sight - thats why it was nerfed. And Vicious Death is still the go-to bomber set.
A bomb build I've been running lately is a cleave bomb stamsorc
@@IrishOphidia not quite true - you never know when sets get re-worked > there are plenty of good examples where this has happened. I have no issues with inventory space, have more than enough gold and MASSIVE stacks of gold mats. What applies to you doesn't necessarily apply to other people :)

How is this build? Did it work for you? Also, please, this guy says meta isn’t real but has relequen on every single stam build. He changes one or two dots and with consuming trap and vigor and suddenly meta doesn’t exist lol.
This build works well. In midyear mayhem me and and 2 other ballistas blew up so many groups. As stated it's designed for group play with other ballistas working together it's not a solo bomber or gank build. The negativity from those who have 0 knowledge of how it works and or didn't test it is disgusting
@@juanguerrero5914 the goal is to get multiples of the build together and team up to blow up groups. He stated clearly it's not meant for BG but he was doing bg with it anyway. So me and my friends would put magic det 3x on one guy in a huge group, proc him with hrothgar and sellistrix, even if he's the only one who dies its still a kill but usually it takes out half the group. Solo bombers would be easier to use, this is just a different take on it is all. I've played with it solo, some guys are so tanky it knocks them on thier ass but that's about it. But in groups of these things it's devastating

@@juanguerrero5914 every bomber wears light armor, the reason is pen. You need the pen, the crit from medium is useless to a bomber do to impen. And I get your point. But the design is for group play, group range bombing, and it works. But its not for everyone it's just another thing for someone who wants to try with thier friends. If not make a solo bomber they work well and have for years.
maybe try it when an event isn't going on when all the pve'ers go to pvp haha , it won't work against experienced pvp'ers
