Carefully balanced to allow for great single target and aoe damage combined, taking advantage of a high costing high damage spamable/main skill, at the same time as boosting the damage output of those much needed yet devastating heavy attacks for your resource maintenance between casts. Meaning instead of the "heavy attacks make lower dps bro" common assumption, your heavy attacks are HUGELY boosted so that while maintaining your hard hitting stuff, you actually balance out to keep your sustained damage UP without negative effects, while stripping entire rooms of enemies of their health bars!
Along side your damage you have HIGH resistances, major and minor buffs on tap and NO need to use expensive spell pots. You have a high stamina pool, meaning you are more agile i combat when it comes to evading, breaking free and blocking. AND above all you can heal JUST by doing damage.
It literally does everything it says on the tin. Incredibly easy to use for all players. At the lower end it "works" at the higher end, it excels. If you want something that will stay with you from the start of your game, all the way to the end...THIS is the build for you!

I literally just got my sorc up to cp levels last night just to work on the old version of this build. Perfect timing on the update! 🍻

@@MONKE-WAR I have used previous versions of this build with ease in vMA and vVH. This updated version has a lot more survivability. Ring of pale order helps a ton too if you need more survivability.

@@MONKE-WAR yup. What I do when I run ring or kilt is wear a body piece to keep the 5 piece bonus. So in the case, a briarheart body piece. Then run a 1 piece slimecraw for extra crit.

love this video! after watching the video i added the curse to my bombing run and helps so much. im a mag sorc bomber with 7500 spell dmg 50% crit 13kpen and 32k magika //dark convergence and storfmfist guise set with a set to give 600 spell dmg to destro staff - stormfist proc -combined with daedric mines to proc convergence for pull and proc aoe and 1 sec stun, curse, streak to stun again and drop storm atronach - in cyrodil i managed to land a 25 kill one-shot bombing

Trying for spirit slayer title. Should I just switch mundas stone to lover rather than thief if I want better damage with this build in vet vateshran?
Should I run the master at arms champ point or exploiter instead? 10% to off-balance seems alittle more important than 6% single target damage but what do you think?
can u use camouflaged hunterfrom fighters guild for minor berserk now instead of the 5% more mag slottable from mages guild?
I ended up going storm master instead of undaunted, since it didn't get changed, and it has double crit XD
It is a good set, in my tests on 21 million parse it was slightly Higher than undaunted. It require you to proc with a heavy attack before it activates which is better for prolonged fights in burst fights undaunted were Higher for me since the bonus was pre applied.
hi, what about when your are magika damage, but use hurricane in stamina, the damage go about the max stamine your have and lose the max damage from the max magika, can you tell me something about please ?
Also how do you get the 5 piece set Bonus for the Briaheart as I only see 4 pieces in the build: Staff, Amulet and 2 rings? Am I missing a component? EDIT: Ahh just found out that a 2H weapon counts as 2 for a set bonus.

Undaunted infiltrator is the obvious go to choice now with hybridization.
No point in stacking magicka when the crux of the build is heavy attacks. You only need enough magicka to pop off the dots and skills before you throw down a heavy or two - especially when heavy attacks are a big part of your dps.
You may as well stack into stam and spell damage, while running mag pots.
Use the oakensoul ring and run one bar with zero help into magicka and run full stam stack into wep or spell damage(damage type is honestly irrelevant at this point, because you don't need damage pots with OSR)
Finally got my infallible from vhrc I got body pieces and jewellery and lighting staff.
I just need crystals now. Im going to try the briahearts out for survival as I did my first VVH and died a few times haha on old 2020 build with false gods and mothers sorrow no ring of the pale order.
Thank you for the build, sir! You have shown this fine stuff to many many of us and we still use it!
Nevertheless, a few additions from an experienced easy sorc user if you don't mind.
1. The biggest surprise for me is the new set - storm-cursed not being mentioned, by the the best in slot aoe damae set for a lightning mage - i have it all tested on boss single and multi targets and it just outperforms every other option. Sure not as good as relequeen in a single target fight but for 4 man content its just unmached.
2. Double crit helm + shoulder overall much better than zaan and only 1% worse in single target.

Hey Xynode, you might've already mentioned this set, but i was wondering how the deadly strike set would be with undaunted infiltrator ?
I dont think it would perform too well. Pretty sure the daedric tomb is unaffected by deadly, as its not channeled. Unless I missed something, and it has a weird spot lol.
It wouldnt. It would buff the heavy attack. If you stack a lot of dots it could be good but I think magdk would be better suited using deadly since so many of their skills have a dot associated with it. Deadly loses a lot of power if you don’t have a spammable that’s also a channel.
Is it worth to change Inner light for Camouflaged Hunter ? Minor Berserk if you do a flanking attack vs 5% extra Magicka looks tasty.
If you are in a group, usually the healer spamming combat prayer gives you minor beserk or any kinras set will give you the same effect. So pick the tasty option imo.
the substitute for inner light is daedrick armor, assuming you already have major prophecy on pots

Yes, mothers sorrow is better than these recommendations imo.
Yeah just don’t use the mines. Imo mothers sorrow and Medusa does way more damage and is easier to get than these sets.
The mines are way harder to use than he makes it sound like. Force pulse is a lot easier to use.

@@123FASTFURIOUS Yep, that should work great! A setup like that will always be solid... plenty of spell damage, crit, and some crit damage.
I should consider this build since Sorc is my 2nd favorite Class in the game and the Trial Meta seem to be thirsty for mages over stams. Speaking of Stams, is there a chance we could see a purely ranged Bow Build that could utilize both bars? I'm really interested in seeing how a version you make would look in this update.

@@thewitcher9383 I'm particularly looking for a Nightblade version. I have an Archer build for a Nightblade but she has a PvP type of build.
I already have a Cryomancer MagDen and a 2h/2h Stamden (sick of Dual Wield sometimes so I wanted something different for Melee). But NB is my number 1 favorite class so I want more avenues to keep it fresh for me.
I wanna use the Armory so she can be both PvP and PvE, but so far the best Bow/Bow build I found came from Hack the Minotaur. I wanted to see Xynode's version before committing to a choice since I like weighing options.
But if all else fails, I'll consider your recommendation if Hack's doesn't work for me. Not entirely impossible to run a Redguard Stamden Archer.
I would definitely stay away from this build. It’s so much worse than other Sorc builds.
@@individual116 Well, I'm giving it a try finally with the Galerion/Briar setup and this is the most fun I've had with MagSorc in a long long time. Sooo, I think I'll trust Xynode's words in this case. I do disgusting damage and I don't even have my stuff optimized yet as of this comment.
But I'll bite... What makes it in your opinion, "so much worse"? You're gonna have to do better than just saying it's "worse" than other sorc builds since I have to take your word for it here vs trying out Xynode's build which I already said is really strong and fun in my opinion.
And if you're gonna bring up a build that only the hardcore meta or 1% types use a lot or general min/max crap, then you lost me by default because I couldn't care less about that stuff if I tried. It's hard enough to find groups for high end Vet Content like Trials since their standards are so high, let alone the means to even reach the lowest standard.
@@TheGravityShifter I ran hacks heavy attack sorc and it was always served me well until this update. Went from about 26k off balance ticks to 18k. This build might work way better since aether didn’t get changed like UU/UI and ND did and it has minor slayer.
Can i do a no pet version of this, being just as effective?

It's all cool, but why in such a long video there is no actual parse?
he said 85k for heavy atk build. 90-95k the other spam rotation. So high dps for most content.
optimised mag sorc builds are currently are around 120-130k. So 35k-45k less dps then those builds.
I have been trying to figure out how to adjust from the mines since the changes in pts. Not an easy thing to do at all and crystal shards are too clunky and worse. Not to mention undaunted infiltration was changed as well.

Pts is a test server. Nothing is live yet. I will release my own updates if necessary once the patch testing is over and officially released. Until then, this functions as in the video, on live. So you have nothing to worry about...yet 😉
Why is there never a parse?
Also note this is a solo build. Not a build yo be used in team play although the viability is there.
A parse is only as good as the player. This is suitable for all content and yes it is high DPS.

@@OaK-_R try it, then say that. He doesn't like how much people obsess about parses, he also uses the actual definition of a parse which is more than just killing the target dummy. This will not hit the target for me as hard as most RUclips builds but it will hit real content harder then a lot of RUclips builds because it was built for the content not for a dummy hump. This guy has been doing MMOs for a very long time and been doing this one since the beginning. You could just trade out a couple simple skills which he actually talks about to maximize the DPS for a raid setting. It would also be simple to swap out for your choice of Mythic if you are in a group that can enable you to keep it up 100%.
@@OaK-_R makes perfect sense lol. The dummy is not an acurate representation of the buffs and debuffs your group will have. If on PC, turn on combat metrics and compare you vet dungeon dps to your dummy parse. It will vary widely based off your group. Also most content is not ONE large target and an optimized single target build will struggle in large add pulls. If yoyr tank doesn't bring alkosh and crusher, for instance, your build might be more effective with penetration buffs. This is just an example. There are many other inconsistencies. The dummy helps you practice weaving and commit your build to muscle memory. BTW another huge example is if running AY, how often will you be able to keep up stacks if dodging in mechanics? You can hit a lot harder on a stationary rigged dummy that doesn't fight back so don't expect it to reflect your actual content performance.

This is my favorite build of all time. I’ve been worried about how the new patch coming will have an effect on it. I was just messin around with the comment. I know my boy Xynode has got it covered already. Love all his content and streams.
@@aaronlicon1205 OK, this is also my favorite build :) I even still run an old setup with the New Moon Acolyte crafted set, was planning to switch to Infallible Mage+Undaunted Infiltrator, but since next update changes a lot of things, I'll might wait and see what Xynode got up his sleave :)

Looked at the build on your website and then came here so what I'm about to say is just based off the skills you had listed. Ngl I like this build. It's very fun, But my only problem is it doesn't seem like there's any spammable skills :/
like after I cast all my abilities it just seems like I have to keep heavy attacking until the boss gets to 20% then I can spam mages wrath but other than that...idk it just kinda bothers me that there's no spammable.
Cause I used to do alcast builds and while his did pretty decent damage, it was too magic hungry. Which is why I wanted to try yours. Cause I heard you were better for console players.
So I guess the only thing that can be considered a spammable is the deadric runes I guess? Idk. This build is just weird to me. Fun but weird
Yes, the daedric runes would be the "spammable" or the mage's wrath executable (after the enemy has -20% health) if you have it slotted. As the guide mentions the rotation is designed to heavy attack as filler damage instead of a spammable with the Daedric Tomb or other skill inbetween, the writen guide details the rotation a bit more if you want to check it.

From CP200 up to CP900 I used this PVE build. Perfected rotation etc. everything. Untill a CP2300 sent a rude message, “this build gives crappy dmg and heavy sorc is a disgrace to eso”. Man I hate rude high CP players. It’s like as soon as they hit 2000 they think there gods. I’m now changing my build as I am mentally destroyed now. Still a great build though.

That 2300 CP is also probably a floor lord in trials, but hits a dummy hard. This build has so much survivability, you cant die unless you stand in stupid, and hits ridiculously hard. Its also aoe damage, which a lot of groups are sorely lacking aince so many of the highest damage builds are single target.
Im CP 1400 right now and still use this on my Sorc. Its a solid build, and believe me, hits more than hard enough to do all content, unless you are going for really sweaty score pushes.
You see some trash talker, its easier to block them than worry.
Yeah f*** them dude I also had an experience where I used to use a build similar to this with no pets and the deaderic tomb got decent with it and even managed to solo dungeons with it even a couple vet dungeons until I started to play with random people and a group of people (who were actually really nice not gonna bash them) but they started to explain how the pets build are better for dps and all that BS which again they were nice people so I took their advice but I hate pet builds its so annoying having to respawn your pets constantly because they are getting wrecked and when they die you get completely overwhelmed with all the mobs suddenly attacking you while your waiting for the stupid pets to spwan and do something, so I now decided to play what I want to play even if its not the greatest dps meta, like I said I managed to clear even some vet dungeons solo without the stupid pets so I thinks we should be fine with these type of builds!
@@guilledeleon3547 ultimately its a game. If you are having fun and it works, who cares? Unless you are trying to get sweaty and score push, and I mean top percent leaderboard stuff, all that matters is it works, and you have fun.

Wow tell that People were to get that gear. Only in raids and get the RAID is only pay or ig you get wery good guild. Normal People cajt get this gear...
