Aquatic warfare is oh so ever underused in sci-fi. Same with underground exploration... can't blame them, they feel way too confined compared to the air and the cosmos Also, what can they say, the seas are way too mundane and arguably easily explorable (if slightly) in reality. Space, on the other hand, has a tinge of romance and epicness due to its current exclusivity.
@@bobbirdsong6825 A great game, no doubt about it, but it also feels casualized enough to not replicate the right amount of realism, so I didn't count it.
These droids really sucked when on land. But at sea they were absolutely terrifying and I love them. I wish we could see more battles on aquatic worlds like perhaps Manaan so we could see more of these amazing and terrifying droids.
It makes even more sense to let haor chall build the aqua droid when you think about what the vulture droid's "special ability" is: it can fight in the air and on the ground. I think they had smiliar thoughts with the aqua droids as it would be less usefull if it was only able to be deployed underwater, and my best example for that is the battle of kamino. They were used both underwater and on "land", and while they werent as good on land, they were still a bit better then b1s (i assume).
I fell in love with these the second I saw them. They felt more like a purpouse built killing machine. The b1s are decent fodder but are used in everytbing from bridge crew to firefighters to farming. The b2s are terrifying and durable but incredibly slow and weak to the enviroment. But the aqua droids? They look streamlined but also bulky enough to take some punishment. The propeller feet, the blaster arm... it all feels so much more intimidating.
When I first saw these Droids in Season 3 of the Clone Wars during the Battle of Kamino, I thought they were so awesome. Wish we saw more of them. Also, would you consider doing a video on the Republic's Self-Propelled Heavy Artillery Walkers? Because those things were cool in the First Battle of Genosis and the Battle of Munnalist.
Imagine what would've happened has the CIS produced Cylon Centurian droids instead of B1 Battle Droids. The threat level of the CIS would've gone up drastically if that happened.
Actually the B1s could fight under water. You see them in the 2003 Clone Wars TV show. These just seem to be underwater versions of the super battle droid
Have you hacked my computer!? I swear, the last 3 videos you guys have done have been relevant to research I am doing for an SW5E campaign! 🤣 It feels like when google guesses what you're going to search based on your prior search history, but these are coming out in real time!
Aqua droids are absolutely terrifying. Good luck fighting it hand to hand underwater. The thing is literally a B2 but much more scarier and faster. A single one can easily take out 4 clones in rapid succession if it caught them by surprise.
It would've been great if these Aqua Droids made an appearance in Jedi Survivor and there were more underwater sections on Koboh to explore and fight these guys. Maybe Jedi 3 might answer our wishes and prayers.
I wish we got to see more of the separatist side in the clone wars. p.s geetsly why didn't we see more jedi dual wielding lightsabers during the clone wars like ashoka and Kellerman beck?
hey Geestly, there was a clone that took out 2 crab droids in The Revenge of the Sith (the third movie) before order 66, can you help me figure out more about this 212th trooper?
I always thought the Aqua battle droids were one of the most creative way to get around the whole “droids and water don’t mix”
I have always felt like these things were more like Terminator Models than battle droids… They just have that FEEL to them!
Aqua droid: "you are terminated."

gotta play subnautica dude, will change your mind pretty fast

I love the aqua droids they are so cool and unique l wish we seen more of them in clone wars
I wish we get more under water stuff in Star Wars!!! It's a very underused setting!!!
Gungans: "look at what they need to mimick a fraction of our power"
*Meesaa so powerful!*
These droids really sucked when on land. But at sea they were absolutely terrifying and I love them. I wish we could see more battles on aquatic worlds like perhaps Manaan so we could see more of these amazing and terrifying droids.
How do they suck on land? They seemed practically like B2's when assaulting kamino
@@fw.DallasThey may have the same armor as the B2. But not as bulky as one.

CIS have some of the best Droids.

I love seeing the Aqua Droids because it usually means I get to see Kit Fisto shirtless. :)
Still weirds me out, him staying that way on Bespin and Rhen Var on those Battlefront II 2005 Xbox exclusive DLC maps.
@@michaelandreipalon359 I found it quite humorous. His force orbs were super effective too.
Would have also been really cool to see B1 droid with underwater drives

If the republic didn't have mile thick plot armor the b1 would have been shown as effective as it truly could be.
And yes, I would love to see more of this underwater, droid who knows maybe they’ll bring it back
I love that they look like Black Manta soldiers.

It would be cool if Aqua droids got repurposed as underwater welders.
I always thought these guys looked more intimidating than the B2s
They have cool voices too.

I just watched a Lego moc video with aqua droids

These Droids remind me a bit of Shockwave from the Transformers.
I love the battle droids
A very underrated droid
I can imagine if the Empire uses those droids after the Clone Wars.
Naboo, Mon Cala, and Kamino would be in hot water and deep trouble (double pun intended).
@@hungtheheroluu Indeed. Then they'll have to think of something.
@@jessehorn6180 they sure do. I even forgot to mention Glee Anselm (Kit Fisto's homeworld), Scarif, and Niamos.

Hehe, “Deep Dive,” I see what you did there.
If I said that these Aqua Droids deserved to appear more in the Star Wars franchise, will it be a good idea?
I wonder how many clones died on kamino or young clone cadets if they had ever fought back at some point
I wish we got to see more of the separatist side in the clone wars. p.s geetsly why didn't we see more jedi dual wielding lightsabers during the clone wars like ashoka and Kellerman beck?
Too bad we never saw them under the command if a super tac. Then again they’d likely just poison the whole ocean.
speak of the devil i was just trying to look up any videos about aqua droids XD
Live-action aqua droids would be expensive.
I wonder how much they cost compared to other droids?
I would have put optics on the top of their head so they don’t have to bend their neck back to see.
I honestly thought this was a warhammer 40K video when I saw the thumbnail
hey Geestly, there was a clone that took out 2 crab droids in The Revenge of the Sith (the third movie) before order 66, can you help me figure out more about this 212th trooper?
Nice episode.
This is Canon for me!
The Senate is EVEN more sleek.
Can you do a video on the imperial administration star destroyer from Phineas and ferb star wars special 😂
Hydrodynamics, not aerodynamics (fyi)
I can take him
👍
