Waterproof case for the IC-705 from ebay

- I kept seeing this case and I was really interested, but I saw two different videos, one for and one very much against, but they didn't answer the questions I had.
This is my initial impressions. Give me some time before I make my final judgement. Since I shot this video I've already ran into a few things that need to be mentioned.

Good review! To be honest, the case is pricey but appears to be utilitarian. I have the Peovi FULL frame and it is a "work of art", absolutely top quality. I also place it in an Apache case giving it extra protection Having to remove the frame from the case to change the battery is a bit of a pain. It also looks a bit unfinished with possibly sharp edges, etc.
You are correct. It's not a perfect case. I've had issues with the microphone jack. The whole thing is rough. If I had the opportunity to redesign there are a few things I would change for sure. That being said, I still think it's the best option out there at the moment.
Doesn´t the metalframe shield up the GPS-receiving or Bluetooth? The whole construction doesn´t seem to be fitted inside the box. Have you ever closed it and turned it upside down? I wonder if it would rattle around inside...

I've never had an issue getting GPS lock, even inside my house. I put a foam panel in the lid and it doesn't flop around even if I turn it upside down.

Do you have any concerns about the radio overheating due to lack of air flow around the radio while in the box?
Have not see a rise in temperature, according to the radio. It might be different in the heat of summer, but you can easily pull the frame out of the case. It holds the radio at the perfect angle.
could you spray the metalwork to make it look a bit better
It could be painted, but the the labels for the ports are laser etched.
