Update on the waterproof case for the Icom 705

I've had the case a little while and I've been using it a lot.
I didn't mention it in the video, but I love being able to access all the connections. It makes it so fast to connect and disconnect things.

I’ve got the temp gauge in the red hot stage talking on FM 5w UHF while outside the case. Took about 15 minutes of rag chew.

Yeah, FM uses a lot of power. I sometimes run a net for my club and I can see the gauge go up a little.

Pretty cool case. I just put mine in a Nanuk 915 since I have a cage over mine.

It would really bother me that the 705 is lying horizontally in the trunk, it must be terribly uncomfortable and difficult to operate it comfortably for a long time. I'd rather just store the radio in the trunk and take it out on the spot, I don't use cables for anything, I have wireless headphones with a Sony microphone, I'm connected to the Macbook via wifi and I control the external PA via BT, the only two cables I have are from the antenna and the power supply. I see no reason to use this useless case that makes it impossible to manipulate the radio. And lastly, I am a radio amateur and I will build a similar case if necessary and I will not support China, which floods the world with similar garbage.
