I’m so glad you liked my video! Also, thank you so much for your generous gift! 😊 I do have a more impromptu extended driving impressions video of this car which I plan to public within the next few weeks. Those type of reviews aren’t as structured as my usual review style, I’m still kind of working on developing my system of filming those. But I definitely recommend you get as much seat time in a GT as you can, as well as every other car you’re interested in. Buying a new car as you know is way too big of a purchase to not get all the information and know for sure you found the right one. Thanks again and best of luck! 🙂
I've never owned a Mustang and never really liked them that much until the S550. These cars are legit now and the coyote engine is one of the great engines of all time. I bought an S650 fully optioned out and preparing for a whipple right now. I love the car and it will be a 700 whp monster by Spring.
@ I rented a 2024 eco boost on turo. During thanksgiving. And can only imagine the GT. So come February I’m pulling e trigger. First time V8 owner loading. Thanks for the info . Sounds like a sweet deal you got
@ no problem , you’re going to love it , it’s had a few updates over the air so far so some bugs have been worked out some haven’t But definitely get the nite & pony package if you’re trying to go for the smoke out look I already got my led smoked side markers from form lighting on with the rest of their selection to come lol , then I got the calipers wrapped reflective white with a gt500 spoiler from steeda Definitely get a h pipe if you get the active exhaust
I bought my '67 fastback 390GT in July 1980. I still own the car. I also "own" a 2020. It is leased. Now, I'm going to finance 2024 GT. Thank you for assuring me.
I'm in England, bought one because it's available in RHD and manual, absolutely awesome car, wasn't sure about the front end styling at first, looked a bit plasticity, but I've got used to it. Plus relatively rare this side of pond, although the RHD conversion robs a few horsepower its fantastic to drive, and surprised, on runs on motorway at 70 mph returns over 30 mpg.
If I was to spend the money on either of those two cars, I would personally choose the Mustang. It’s potentially more straight forward/reliable and probably won’t depreciate as much as the BMW. I say this knowing nothing about the current gen 4 series, so I could be off base. Thanks for watching!
Rented a GT for 3 days and it was fun and fast. I recommend putting it in sport or track and use the paddle shifters! Only downside is other fast car wants to race you.
I'd recommend the Performance Package, and Magneride. Understanding of course your 54K mustang now jumps to 61.5 K. It's worth the extra in my opinion.
The biggest thing I’ve noticed in street use with performance cars equipped with mag ride is how much better they handle bumps in the road. But from what I’ve driven (Mustang, ZL1, Corvette type cars) it is a bit more stiff and there’s not much body roll. Especially the ZL1 with 1LE package, that was actually almost not fun on the street because it was such a track focused tight suspension and you could feel everything on the road, lol. Probably why I never see Camaros with the 1LE matte black hood around town.
That missing button is the Auto Stop/Start switch. That button would be able to turn it off. Does that Mustang turn itself off at red lights or ever? I have read that the Stop/Start feature is mandatory in the US and maybe there was a chip shortage or something and that's why yours does not have it.
I have been negotiating to purchase this exact vehicle. As per the link to the dealers website... Does anyone see a problem with redlining this vehicle( 0-60) with 150 original miles on the engine? there is some talk about a break in period in the manual. Any input would be appreciated, Just a little concerned moving forward after seeing this video.
I’m sorry about that. With how over built the 5.0 Coyote engine is, and the fact that it’s naturally aspirated compared to a boosted engine, I personally would not be worried about this. Especially since there are already people who have Gen 6 Whipple supercharged their 2024 and have dyno’d about 2x the power level of this stock one. And theirs seems to be holding up just fine. I’m assuming the original 150 miles were normal causal miles but I can’t personally confirm that. The only accelerations I did in total were filmed and shown here, all other driving off camera was extremely casual. But again, I’m sorry about that. 😕
bro i beat mine the first day 😂 i got a trans coolant leak 4 months in but warranty covered it. but i break in period lasted till 7k. my top mph was @147 prior and i attempted again and was going 155+ i just ran out space
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh want one so bad! i will try to save up for a 2013 used mustang its a pain to find reasonably priced used mustangs in the uk
What do we do with it?! Heck, you rent some track time; and you open her up! That's what you do with it!! Yeah, you'll be fine. And if not, well; no growing old as your body parts fall apart on you. Who wants to live forever?
That sounds like a great time! I wish there were more tracks. It sounds like a number of them have slowly started selling out to real estate developments because their land value is worth so much more now. ☹️
Back in the 80s the Highway Patrol in California and Washington had the Mustang GT’s (5.0 with a 5spd stick) as their freeway patrol vehicle. Sadly I know about that first had when I got pulled over by one in WA doing 140mph in a 55mph zone. The fine was $997 in 83. Now almost 40 years later if I would only have to pay less than $1K and not go to jail, I’d do it again.
Yeah, a few years ago a Mustang GT did not cost 50k, but in today’s time, this car is now only 2k more than “the average” new car. So although I don’t personally agree with modern vehicle pricing, in the context of current reality it is “reasonably affordable” haha. ☹️
Trump was president for the first year of CV19 when economic problems started. Biden and the rest of us just had to pick up the pieces from his mishandling of CV19.
For sure! And they’re not thoroughly warmed up for testing. Usually my launches/0-60 testing is like a decent realistic time for this part of the country. But if one could warm the tires and practice multiple trials (basically treat it like their own car) there’s definitely some room on the table for a faster time! 😎
Oh, I haven’t heard that. Well if people don’t want to see the V8 muscle car completely disappear they need to be a statistic and buy one. Manufacturers only make what sell and what they can justify. 🤷♂️🙂 It is crazy though that Ford use to sell several hundred thousand Mustangs a year!
@@dynaraton WOW, you’re rude. Instead of contacting the owner of this channel via email or phone, we generally just txt about the content of his posts. Yeah, for the amount of car and performance you get I think it’s a justifiable price tag. But this price tag is too much for most everyday car enthusiasts. ☹️
The problem is the masses have been clambering for a luxurious lifestyle inside these cars that they can’t afford. Why the hell do we need some of the conveniences in these modern cars that they have? I bet a car company would make absolute bank if they went back to the old days of having a very very simple interior with few luxuries but for a very low price tag.
@awwwwwyeahhhhh1110 I think so as well. A young kid or a household family does not have 30k to spend on a car. After tax and high apr, it's like 45k. A simple radio is all we need aside from the safety features like a seat bell. A backup camera is not needed, nor lane keeping assist, not forward cruise, not satellite radio, navigation, or apple carplay or Android auto. A nice cheap, reliable car doesn't need all that. If people require them, then they can go for the higher trim.
Yeah, for sure lol. Honestly the fact that it did a low 5 true time in this density altitude isn’t bad. A 2023 I tested couldn’t do better than I think a 5.3 last year. Elevation, heat, and not prepared road kills performance and launching ability. 🤕
Dude, this was the best tour of the GT I've seen. I'm on the fence between this and a few others. Thanks so much.
❤

That’s awesome. I’m glad you guys are enjoying it!
defiantly should get this with the Performance pack, magna ride, and active valve exhaust.
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bought mine a month ago , gt premium in Oxford white with the active exhaust and nite pony package , I love it so far
That sounds like a sweet ride, thanks for watching!
How much out the door if you don’t mind me asking?
@@DatBoyDro so the car was 52k and they discount it 3k so was 49k out the door , cause I used the ford credit instead of rebate cash

@AutomotiveAnonymous208 yeah not many around in England, certainly grabs attention but in a nice way
I am considering between this and the BMW 4 series gran coupe, which one do you guys suggest l take

Great insight! Mag ride is no joke in the few cars I’ve driven with that system (mostly GM perf cars). 😎
I see dark horses for 61k might as well get one of those at that point
whats better with the magneride? serious question. Is it "softer" or harder ?
The biggest thing I’ve noticed in street use with performance cars equipped with mag ride is how much better they handle bumps in the road. I see the gt premiums online for 43k. Good price
43k actually sounds like a great deal!
Crazy this is doing 4.98 0-60 and my full size 3.5 ecoboost f150 did it in 5.3.
Haha yeah but 4wd launches in the 3.5 are no joke.
Bigger intercooler and tune good for an extra 100hp and 100ftlb of torque.
The button is the auto stop/start button.. thankfully we don’t have it all the ones I think that are made after the 1st of the year have it 😢

Good observation, I’m not sure what the reason for that would have been.
I wish they would’ve put the Brembo brakes on the back too. I don’t know why they only do the front. It doesn’t make any sense.
When a car brakes the majority of the weight transfers to the front so it makes sense you have the better stoppers there.
My premium has brimbos on all four.
Does anyone know what the sensor is that sits to the right of the rear view mirror?
The side door pocket goes back into a deep pock that fits a good-sized water bottle or lots of snacks
Thanks for sharing this!!

"Reasonably affordable" I am fairly sure had CV19 and Biden not happen, that Mustang would've been $8-10k less from the dealer.
