Intuition is logic done at an incredibly high speed. If you make a decision based on a gut feeling and spend long enough time thinking about it purposefully, you'll see the logic of how you came from point A to point B

    • @karanolan
      @karanolan 6 лет назад +221

Exactly. It's taking everything in a situation and unconsicuously analyzing it. Children and animals are always more intuitive because they haven't been trained not to be. I think we often lose our intuition in social sitautions at a young age because we are taught, "the rules" of proper society. If someone is saying certain words to you and smiling they are "being nice". Even if there are many facial cues to suggest this is a forced smile or their body language is aggressive. Calling someone out on this behaviour is considered rude and even when telling someone else about it privately children and adults are often disauded. But because many people do not have the tools to deconstruct what was ingenuine about an interaction and come to these logical conclusions they are instead pressured into not trusting their instincts.

    • @MsZsc
      @MsZsc 6 лет назад +69

It's also possible instincts are just instincts, and instincts themselves are logical.

aasy jepale Intuition and rationality can very much coexist. It's difficult, but if you know which to use in what situations and how much of it, it can really help you out in life. Don't feel like it's just one or the other! It really isn't.

Being a hypersensitive empath and psychic, this world is very emotionally draining. Feeling others emotions, its very hard to be in a place with alot of people. Nature and animals are a very soothing outlet when I'm overwhelmed. It's not just others feelings but overly powerful lighting, sounds and smells can be overwhelming. The negative people in this world cut into my soul like a knife, I find it saddening that the news is on 24/7 only reporting on the murders. suicides, rapes and other evils. These things will eventually change your own thoughts to be negative, social media is in the same category. God bless everyone who is highly intuned and empathetic in this world, we just want the world to be at peace.

In sociology, we have two things that are highly related to some points in this video:
    1) The "common sense", which comes from Bourdieu's work on his "habitus" concept. To be short, it is a concept that explains how everything you think, like/dislike, prefere, do etc or, in other words, how you view an dpercieve the world around you, is deeply linked with the social context you grew in. Your habitus produces a common sense in each of the different context you take a part of. The common sense for Bourdieu /is/ the intuition: it's how you correspond to norms and how you act and do things a certain way in some contexts but without knowing why.
    2) Having a high empathy and emotional intelligence. It is known that people who grew up in abusives contexts (interpersonal violence or oppressions such as racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism etc) have to develop an emotional intelligence and to be able to interpret small details in the right way. In "La Domination masculine" ("Masculine Domination") by Bourdieu (yes, him again) he writes that being able to be aware of small details, which is often associated with women and the "feminine instinct" is in fact a survival trick.
As English isn't my mother-tongue and because Bourdieu's work is hard to read, my explainations can lack some details, but I thought it was interesting to have a sociologic point of view on this topic which is often seen as purely psychological. Psychology and sociology are two part of the same medal after all ;)

I meditate when ever possible with mantras and lie on my back on the floor. In my mind I go over all the affirmations that build me. This helps me connect, recharge and balance myself.

I'll never forget the very first recollection I had of my intuition manifesting. I must have been about 4 or 5. My mother, aunt, and I were at the pool. I remember after taking a swimming break, I was sitting on the ledge with my legs in the water and seeing this bee in a little puddle of pool water. 'Something' told me not to rescue it. I picked it up out of the puddle and it stung me. How I remember that sting...and that inner warning! To this day, anytime I have gone against that voice (for lack of a better word) I kick myself on the rear. Over the years, I have learned to trust it-many of my loved ones think I have been (am) crazy for going with my gut. It has never steered me wrong. I have noticed also that when I'm under a lot of stress or not feeling good emotionally, there's nothing there. So all I have been doing with life is to search and continue to improve as a person. The capacity we have as human beings is truly underestimated...so much more to discover about ourselves!

VERY HARD....especially, when you're constantly being pulled in 50 different directions....or when people you have to be around, everyday, have intensely strong energies of fear, anxiety or anger....I'm like a magnet for that shit and everyday I struggle with absorbing other peoples emotionally charged energies. The strongest vibration always wins. And unfortunately... mine...is not always the strongest 😖

I think empathy and self-reflexion are great things, and if you have a strong intuitive feeling that somebody feels a certain way, then it may be that that's actually true because of your empathy and self-reflexion. It has nothing to do with songs on the radio or signs of the universe. And you should never take your gut feeling as certainly true, just as a tool to help you in some situations, but don't stop thinking critically about your own thoughts and feelings.

The song and signs remark was based on how the mind grabs on to patterns from everyday life to help affirm a thought or concept a person may already know or intuitively sense. OMENS are signs our minds create to help us better access our unconscious is what this video was trying to say. Very intuitive people are open to seeing omens because it helps them better access their intuition as its one of the languages of the mind.

Ok so I have a very strong intuition
I just know when someone or something is off
I often know how a certain situation will turn out
I know when someone is misunderstanding something & I know when people lie
And also just know the answer to things rather it be a logical or emotional question or situation
I’m pretty much a breathing lie detector machine & future telling robot 😂
But I must say I can’t relate to majority of these things
Only 2 & there is another one I can relate to but I think it is due to my extreme introverted personality 😂
(Also I do not mean this to come off rude or me bashing the video, this is just my observation that I wanted to share since I know some people find this extremely interesting & wanted to help feed their knowledge 😂)

I've been overly stressed for the past five years and lost my intuitiveness. It is returning to me slowly because I am getting signs and confirmations from the universe. It's like using the fine tuner on a radio. I'm exploring meditation and raising my frequency. I've removed distractions including people who were toxic in order to receive clearer signals. I hope I can regain my intuition completely.

I'm starting to realize why I often go into social "blackouts" for days at a time. It's because it's really exhausting being an introverted, empathic, intuitive person. Ugh. If I reach out to the lives of too many people at one time I just feel worn out and as if I have no time to worry about my own life. :x Caring about people can be so tiring, y'know? I honestly don't know what it is. That's just something I've done for years and I could never figure out why exactly.

    1. Is it even possible not too? My inner voice is speaking 24/7, and I can't turn it off.
    2. Yeah, music helps with that. Also I think I have too much self-awareness to the point where I'm extremely critical of everything I do, it sucks.
    3. I used to have multiple creative outlets, but not anymore. Life is dreadful without a creative outlet.
    4. Can't live without it.
    5. Is it even possible not to be aware of your surroundings? My mind is constantly checking everything around me for potential dangers.
    6. Yeah, dreams are the best, though mine aren't as cool as they used to be.

to one's dreams and subtle messages from the universe is both helpful and healing to me. My inner voice has guided me for years, so I can speak for this.
Mindfulness really helps when I figure out what to do next. I feel relaxed when I clear the air and have inner peace.
Playing music for years I've been my most creative and rhythmic in hopes of becoming a renowned musician.
Lonely, I listen to music, free write, come up with new ideas, or walk around to stay in great shape.
I try to memorize my surroundings to stay sharp. When it comes to people's names, it's not as difficult as it used to be.
Any song I hear, I see if I can add some extra rhythm to it. Maybe a sign to go further into the music business.
I've been through so many negative comments and personal attacks, I don't let it affect me.

I like to channel my stress. Sudoku, bc I know there's some risks involved. But if I don't take em, I DK which ones to cancel out. I know there's logic involved but I'm not the greatest w/ mafs either. But you can only use certain things, at a certain time to make it fit too. Ya know? It's that deep. I just made that up. I was trying to sound brilliant. But I less than half assed that bc why not. It's yt comments 😁. Idky I like those things. I just find them soothing. I do have all 7 traits. One thing wasn’t mentioned is that intuition takes very little effort. It isn’t consciously analyzing a person or a situation to get a vibe (I use this word a lot when I talk about my take on ppl and events). The more I consciously analyze, the more I get stressed or would arrive at wrong conclusions. If I let my mind adrift, the epiphany would come soon (this is why the need to be alone).
I people watch subconsciously too. I simply soak up expression, words, behavior to correlate with personality. This is how I have a feeling about people without knowing them. I am neutral on ppl that I know without knowing who’d not be the kind of ppl that I would invest time to get close. It doesn’t mean they are not good. It’s just I know that we won’t jive. So far I haven’t been wrong after decades (I am old).
The content is pretty much on target. I do try my best to put myself in a stress free environment in order to free my mind. I love nothing but having the freedom to create and to learn on my own. It never gets old even though I have been at it since birth.

I kept a secret from my family.
I had to hide this secret but I'd often use my secret in my room when I was alone, late at night, early morning, whenever. I was able to keep my secret a secret from my family for two years, because I'd be using my secret, then i'd suddenly get a feeling like I should put it away and pretend to do something else, or be asleep, and five seconds ot ten seconds later someone would come into the room to see me, without there ever being a logical sign that they were coming. I relied on these feelings and every time they kept my secret safe. One night I didn't listen to my intuition, my gut feeling, and that was when my family found my secret. That was a while ago, and just recently, my dad got a new job offer, in which he was going to take up, but he wasnt sure. My gut feeling told me that it was a bad idea and i voiced that to my dad. After not taking the job, the company was revealed to be extremely sketchy and secretive/deceptive. Listen to your intuition guys.

Stomach symptoms like nausea can be psychosomatic, but IBS (chronic constipation, diarrhea, painful gas and bloating) isn't. Treat yourself for the symptoms while you work on getting the stress out of your life. Maybe ask yourself why are you needing to hold yourself back? Could it be beliefs given to you as a child that continue to cause doubt in your ability to get where you want to be? Or past experiences that have caused you to believe you are not worthy of your dreams? Questions like this will help clear out old beliefs and allow you greater clarity of thought and focus. Also ask what you may be angry about and not releasing or shift it to a positive. Everything is a lesson for us.....either to provide a course correction or to learn a skill needed to continue moving forward. I pray you find greater wellbeing.

The best way to improve your intuition is to heal yourself and do the inner work.
Generally when you have trauma you will put up walls or barriers in order to protect yourself, but in doing so you block any feedback you may get from the universe.
The aim is to not get triggered by anyone or anything, and to become the most authentic version of yourself, and by doing so you will be operating from your heart instead of from your head

This is sooo me! 💗 tip that I can offer is when your on your commute home or to work if it’s long like mines sometimes I will ride in complete silence turn off the radio and just think, allow your mind to wander into your subconscious and really be in the moment and be in the present I have thought through all types of scenarios. I will even talk it out to myself as crazy as that sounds you can learn a lot about yourself and your intuition just by spending sometime in thought. Also at home you don’t always have to be “entertained” at home by the Tv turn it off and get into your thoughts all of these things in society today can be distractions to get you away from tapping into your subconscious and being a more aware person

  • @wghost1

I won't disagree with that but I'd like to ad something to it , to maintain the balance is highly important indeed and that's because your inner thoughts and feelings can be a doubled edged sword , therefore to be able to maintain that balance we must be realistic at all levels , people who depends on their instincts to make decisions are more likely to often make unwise decisions and they fall into the trap of blind judgments , never make a decision based on your feelings without investigating it first , sometimes it feels bad and sometimes it hurts to find out that you were actually wrong but it's better to know that you're wrong than to do wrong because regret is even much painful

I'm extremely intuitive. It can be frustrating because you know things on a unconscious level first before you ever get to conscious. Even when it comes to learning. So I know something to be "xyz" but someone will belittle me for not having the conscious level of thinking to back it up. Which is one reason I don't like to talk about it.
I guess I'm learning how more to listen to it but because I'm a person who often clings to rational conscious thought I have often ignored it. But it's very loud and over powering at times. My mind works on a lot of problems in my sleep. Music can help too. Sometimes if I listen to music I'll be able to figure out a problem much quicker. But I go into like what was said I daydream at the same time.

I like this one because I think we become highly intuitive by experiencing uncomfortable things in life such as mentioned in this video. Yes, I believe I am due to abuse in our home growing up in that I do not do what a crowd of other people do when it is wrong to assume or judge others for doing actions they usually regret after the fact. I do stay alone a lot now due to really bad interactions with those who gossip, lie, or bear false witness on really decent folks. I do feel closer to my source of faith where Christ is concerned and have only friends who know me deeply enough to treat me with respect and dignity!!

I have a crazy accurate intuition. Ever since I was a very small child, I'd get deep gut instincts about a person, and no one understood why I didn't like certain people. Future turns out that they were actually very bad people that I intuitively already knew. And when someone is in a certain mood, if they need help or if they need to say something. I always know straight away. Most times it's a blessing. But when you can feel the energy of the whole room, it gets stressful sometimes. Once I had a dream, my dad was crying and I didn't know why, but I woke up, and had a sudden urge to write him an encouraging letter. Later that day I found out he was extremely upset and felt broken. I ended up writing him the letter and it really cheered him up :)

as a highly intuitive person since childhood i always listen to my intuition ................like it told me to remove my cast on a broken wrist when i just got back from the hospital........... when i saw a doctor outside the hospital he told me i did a good thing because the hospital didn't put it into place properly.....................;; and if i had left the cast after 2 month it would have been to late to fix my wrist properly..............;;ALWAYS listen to your intuition

I'm a highly intuitive person and I love it, I like to think about it as a Magical Power because there's sometimes that I can know somethings without knowing that that can actually happened. But almost a year ago I experienced something that I'm still thinking about it and now I don't know If It was actually because of my Gut feeling or If there's something else that I don't about myself that dropped me in that situation. The point is that, that experience were so strong to me that now I find the intuition as a bless and a curse at the same time

I don't know about other people who are very intuitive, but I find great peace, organization, realization and growth from sleeping. I go to bed early, if you think 10pm is early, and wake up early even on the weekends. I am that annoying morning person who says, 'Good morning' too happily on a Monday. To me, prayer and sleep are strategic exercises that keep me...buzzing with light from the inside out with the ability to feel people's energy. However, one must not absorb the energy of others- that could drive you mad.

I think religious people like me are highly intuitive as introspection, praying, being peaceful etc are part of most religions. I use my intuition all the time. I remember when I first started using it purposefully when I was about 20. I noticed that if I ignored my intution I made mistakes. It was like intuition was my smarter faster brain. Now I use it to listen to God. If you are good, the God radio signals work better because your in a calmer, more aware state. Very interesting video because it put a lot of my vague thoughts on this into some sort of order. Thank you.

I’m an INTP (Introvert Intuitor Thinker Perceiver) personality type, so I spend a lot of time alone absorbing knowledge, thinking and creating. But it wasn’t until I learned my type that I became comfortable with this because all my life people have been trying to “fix” me. And I used to carry around a lot of guilt for not conforming.
I recommend that everyone take a free online Meyers-Briggs personality test, and if you’re an INTP, read “An INTP profile” by Paul James. The accuracy of that paper blows my mind. I now know why I keep collections that I hardly ever do anything with, why I love melancholy music, why I can find humor in everything but am hopeless at telling standard jokes, why I hate social events then treasure their memory, why I often mirror others without realizing it, why I love science and dreaming, and especially why I can have deep insights out of the blue on all sorts of topics, even ones that I haven’t studied for years.
By the way, it’s a hoot watching people who’ve taken the test read their profiles. On a serious note, learning this does increase empathy and communication.

I read, alot. I have been taken aback by the accuracy of my predictions about world events. I have degrees in politics and law, now I am a musician. There is no doubt in my mind; these concepts work. Applied in Military operations, business, psychology, teaching, just dealing with difficulties in life; this CAN be learned. I was mowing grass just today, daydreaming about teaching something exactly from this video. Bon chance

I watch traffic. I just don't like to be in it. What if they were all in final destination. Not the gory part. Just the 6 degrees of Kevin bacon part. Or however that saying goes.

Re: #7: When I developed major depression, I stopped being able to rely on my intuition, because suddenly my gut feelings were telling me that I was worthless, nobody loved me, and I was better off dead. I realize the concept of intuition is kind of a 'soft science', but it would interesting to see some research on how it relates to mental illness.

I do listen to radio 📻 and the songs say a lot about how I’m feeling
Thought it was god talking to me
And saying I did the right thing
    Does that make sense?
    😝

I can read ppl and their energies when I come in contact with them. I follow my intuition even when it does not make sense coz it eventually does. Nowadays m leaving comments on many videos that I never did in my lifetime but it's feeling gud to just vent out what's inside. M in hermit mode for quite sometime but my intuition tells me I gotta come out very soon, not my comfort zone but will follow without any doubt. Sep month always brings big life shifts.
