I love mine. We have the backhoe, box blade, tiller and wood chipper. Only thing is shop around for your attachments. Lastly if you are doing alot of work with the backhoe get the stick to move forward and backwards without having to keep flipping the seat.

I wish Rural king stores existed in Arizona, I have this tractor from the parent company that supplied this to rural king.. but having the stores with easy service would be a big plus.. If your in the market for a smaller tractor this one is solid. I like that Rural King puts more bells and whistles on than anyone else.

I agree. I haven't had any trouble with this one. It's a small power house.

I purchased an RK 24 tractor with bucket and backhoe about three years ago. If you own property that is partially wooded I suggest that the 24 is the smallest tractor you consider purchasing. It's amazing how much you can do with this little tractor. But when it comes to digging out stumps there's only so much it can do oh, and never buy a tractor without a backhoe believe me you will end up wishing you had the backhoe. I wish the 24 had a larger bucket. One that was slightly wider than the width of the wheel base. I fabricated a pin holder for the two pins that secure the backhoe when not in use. Then mounted it on the metal case that covers backhoe control levers. Then when I'm using the the backhoe I just drop the two pins in the two holes I drilled to accommodate the pins. Since the bracket is about 12 inches away from their place when installed in the backhoe It's super convenient. I've made a couple more modifications to improve the sellability of the Rk 24. I improved the step for climbing up in order to gain access to backhoe controls. Unfortunately for RK buyers the company isn't interested in suggestions from customers who purchase their tractors and would like to improve them. Most large companies feel the same.

Nice tractor! these are made by TYM and its the same as a TYM T254 (nice to know for parts in future), the RK has a few more features standard, I just bought the TYM version, and love it. TYM also makes a version for Mahindra which uses a Mitsubishi Diesel - TYM/RK both use the Yanmar

When we bought our first tractor, we had a 1 acre yard. I was surprised at how much we used the tractor. We finally wound up with 3 :) ....but I use them in my business. A friend of mine really wanted a small tractor but didn't think he could justify it on his small piece of land. He finally broke down and got one...he uses it every weekend cutting grass, hauling debris around the yard, ect.

Do you notice that it is weak when are you using the PTO since it is a hydro? I just wonder what it would be like if it had a 3 range. Branson is coming out with a 25HP but on a larger frame. I am afraid it will be too weak as a hydro because of the weight. It has a 62 inch bucket.

I got this same tractor at the beginning of the 2020 season. Now, it’s nearing the end of season and I am selling this tractor. It is very poorly built in my opinion. Now that I’ve used it in many different functions, I have seen how bad this tractor really is. While not inexpensive, it is very cheaply built. I regret buying this tractor and can’t recommend it at all.
