Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. Just got done assembling the entire treadmill using the video exclusively… No owners manual. Thanks a bunch BUT I have to believe that you drilled some BIGGER pilot holes before you filmed yourself using the screwdriver. It looked so effortless in the video but my forearms and shoulders were burning for 15 minutes after each side😄😄😄
some of these units i get pre assembled. There are typically a few holes that are not pre-tapped for the screws and are a little undersized by design, but you've figured that out. ;)
It took me 3 hours to put the c960i together, but the assembly was identical to model in this video. To their credit, I like the way they laid out and labeled the bolts and washers, it prevented errors and saved a lot of time. It was workout putting it together though!

Has anyone gotten a ground wire that is too short? I cannot get it up out of the roundish hole in order to attach it to the upright with the ground screw.

I just got a C1750 but the console came with scratches on its face, when instructions state "remove all protective plastic" I do not know if these consoles come from factory with anything protecting them other than the actual screen which it is protected by a thin layer of plastic sheet. The console seems to scratch easily with just rubbing the fingers on it, mine does, making me think that maybe indeed the whole console face is protected by some sort of plastic sheet but this material is unusually thick and may be the face of the console itself. I tried Nordictrack CS but we all know they suck, they know nothing and offer me replace the whole console at first and now are asking me to send pictures of it; if it is scratched, it should be replaced as these things are super expensive but If it is a case that I just need to remove all thick sheet from the whole console face because that is a protective material then that would be much better. No videos in youtube talks about this. There is no indication and no information from Nordictrack.
Hey, we actually have the same treadmill but, the problem is that at the start of the video, you started to pull the wire from the things then you had to plug that wire into the square, then clamp it on with a screw driver. That's where we messed up, instead of putting the wire in the square hole, we've put it on the one above it but, it's not coming out and little scared cause we don't want to damage the wire ethier. Once you get this can you please reach out to us, thanks
The grommet is there to help prevent the wire from being pulled on during assembly and if the wire becomes caught on something. As you can tell the grommet holds it pretty securely. The fact that it is not in the square hole will not effect normal operation. The wire may not held as securely as it could however.

What happens if the brackets are so wide you can't set the console directly on them? Seems like we need to squeeze the arms together to get the console to sit right.
This is common if you have tightened the uprights during the early part of the assembly. Loossen the upright bolts and they should have enough movement to easily attach the console.

Can someone please tell me how to remove the motor hood cover from a c2000 norditrac treadmill
There should be four screws holding the hood onto the belly pan from underneath. tip the machine forward onto the handrails to access them. Try downloading a users manual from www.iconservice.com There is a diagram inside showing the position of these 4 screws.

did the treadmill include any tools or screws on a box or a bag? Mine didn't have any, and we are figuring out what to do...
The treadmills from iFit should come with an allen wrench that can be used for some of the assembly. It should also have a parts kit in the literature packet. Usually all the screws and hardware are blister packed to a card for easy identification. If you did not receive these parts you should contact iFit at the number on the front of your user's manual or at my.ifit.com
Instructions unclear ended up screwing my finger into the up right rail
We purchased an C850s floor model from a Sears that was closing. In all the confusion at the store on the last day there was no manual or "key". I assume the key is needed to use the treadmill since it will not turn on is this true?
Yes, as a safety measure the treadmill will not operate with out a safety key. You can download a manual and purchase a key at: www.iconservice.com.

Depending on which version you own the programs are either stored onboard (version 0) and will be under the workout category buttons on the console or they will be accessed by a WFfi connection to a wireless network with access to the internet and found under the workout library button on the home screen.
Fitness Equipment Help still does not awnser or help. I repeat, has NO free built in work-outs. IFit-Coach $9 or iFit $29 month. $2,400machine. No Free workout programs at all. Yunk
Hi Jerry, what is your complete model number including the number after the period? If your model number is 25062.2 or .3 then you will need to have a wireless network with access to the internet to access the free workouts. The workout files are hosted on the cloud but there is no monthly subscription required to access them. To see how to use the workouts please see the instructions on page 26 of your users manual. A selection of free Map and Trainer workouts will be displayed when you press the library button found in the lower left corner of the display. It looks kind of like 3 books on a shelf with the 3rd one tilted a bit. Hope this helps.
Need information on replacing incline motor for Nortic Track Summit 4500 ?
Old school. It is actually a relatively straight forward process. If you can remove the lift assist shock first. You will need to tip the treadmill forward or on its side to access the screws to remove the motor hood. (See the diagram in the users manual.)
With the hood removed put the treadmill on its side. You can now remove the incline motor wires and the upper lift motor bolt. when the deck is free to pivot you should be able to remove the lower incline motor bolt. Reverse these steps to install the new incline motor. (Don't forget to reinstall the lift motor stop bracket if it has one.) Once the treadmill is put back together, recalibrate the incline motor and the console. (There is a wiring Diagram and tech sheet under the motor hood with instructions for that model.)

It creates a record with the manufacturer that greatly reduces effort on your part if you have a warranty claim. Allows them to contact you if there is a recall on your product. Sometimes if you register online there may be a promotion to extend your warranty coverage.
Damn, this was fun - not, just put one together by myself, loved putting the pneumatic kickstand on the bottom while holding the whole thing up with my head.

Your head might be similar to a lump of wood, both may be interchangeable to hold up the treadmill
literally did the same thing with my head, until I figured out I could use two lumps of wood, still used my head as contact though, just in case the woods failed.
