    Hey Todd,
I have an XTerra TR260, which is the same as the TR150 but with an auto incline.
Can you explain the part in the manual that calls for a damp cloth to be used?
    Here’s the verbiage:
‘Belt and Deck - Your treadmill uses a very high-efficient low-friction deck. Performance is
maximized when the deck is kept as clean as possible. Use a soft, damp cloth or paper towel to wipe the area between the frame and 6 - 8” under the belt. This should be done once every other month to extend belt and deck life. Use water only - no cleaners or abrasives. A mild soap and water solution along with a nylon scrub brush will clean the top of the textured belt. Allow the belt to dry before using.’
I don’t understand why you would use water (or a damp cloth) ‘under the belt’ when you should only use the silicone lubricant there. And you only use a dry towel or t-shirt to get dust and debris out from under the belt.
I get cleaning the top of the belt but under the belt as described in the manual seems wrong to me.
Maybe you can do a 4th video explaining this.
    Thanks!
    Nick

We've misplaced the lubricant bottle that came with the treadmill, and Xterra's customer service was taking forever, so I googled "treadmill lubricant" and saw that it is being sold by various vendors. Their specifications all note that the lube is 100% silicon. Is that what it says on Xterra's bottle? If so, then the other brands should work, right?

Thanks Todd, good information. One question though. My TR150 didn't come with any lubricant, and while I was running on it today, the timer disappeared and the word LUBE showed up.... What brand or kind would I purchase and do you know where from. My las treadmill years ago, I used a treadmill lube and it almost ruined my treadmill, so I'm a little nervous about making sure I get the correct kind. Also, can I still use the treadmill until I manage to get some lube or should I stay off it altogether?

Hi Tannis, Thanks for watching! They should of given you a silicone lube with the treadmill, too bad they didn't! You could probably call there customer service and get them to send you one. Silicone treadmill lube is what you want, you could search on Amazon there is a few brands out there. Without the lube the belt breaks down faster, so is always good to keep it lubed on schedule. Good luck and appriciate you watching my video :)

Just put together treadmill today. Very loud annoying squeaking noise. Said he comes prelubricated. Should I go ahead and lubricate to help with squeaking sound.

Ya it does say it comes pre lubricated, there was another user on here who said they got the lube message right away. I would reach out to the manufacturer or where you bought it to see what they say, it shouldn't be doing that from the get go. Good luck hope it gets fixed.

I bought the TR200 from Walmart since it was on sale during Christmas. Seems like an okay budget treadmill. Is yours still running well?

Hi and thanks for watching! Xterra recommends using their lubricant. Their website has a number you can call to order from them. Thanks again for watching and good luck with your new treadmill!
