Thanks for such a clear and to the point video. I’ve been watching videos all night of guys bumbling, stumbling, and stammering around, who seem to enjoy listening to themselves talk more than sharing the actual information people are looking for
You should be able to lift your belt up 2-3 inches at the edges without loosening. The bat will just make it easier to work under the belt without holding it up. You can always give the tensioning screws a turn or two when the belt gets too loose.
@@davecasey4341 some people don’t know that whatever you do to one side must be done to the other it can really mess your treadmill up if not knowing that I’ve learned by making that mistake
You do not have to loosen the mat and it should be ready to go. However, if you try to slide a baseball bat under it in the middle it will stretch up some. Just make sure you keep it lubricated with treadmill silicone lubricant and other than that it’s pretty maintenance free
I have had a problem with accessing the port to get in with the lubricant ...not the same make as your one in the video but it does not give enough info on how to access the port....I can see it and its covered by a plastic cover...i'm scared to force it off but it seems to be the only way of lubrication...Caroma make on amazon
WD40 is a WATER DISPERSER Not a lubricator, it may appear to lubricate in the first instance but will soon dry out. It is used for penetration of stubborn nuts/bolts, hinges etc. DO NOT USE AS A LUBRICANT.

I have a oil port on my new treadmill how much oil do i add ?
Awesome video thank you! Just completed this process and it works great thank you!
Forgive the dumb question, but shouldnt the belt be tighter? I dont think I can get a baseball bat under my treadmill belt.
Good question. It's likely not tight anymore because he kept sticking the baseball bat under the belt.

Yeah it shouldn't be that loose.
My lubricant silicone spray says not to breathe the vapors and only use outdoors?
Not sure spray is for the walking belts. Most are liquid come with a squeeze bottle and a short tube to reach half of the belt width.
Should you oil your treadmill when you first get it?
I don’t know how they ship them new. I’ve always had used. Check with your hand like I showed in the video.
what do you use if you dont have a bat?
Your head 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rent online.
I used a bat signed by Babe Ruth, now it's worthless, signature rubbed off, lol
I just bought my first treadmill and have a question. Do you have to loosen the mat first? There's no way I could lift my mat up that high!
You do not have to loosen the mat and it should be ready to go. However, if you try to slide a baseball bat under it in the middle it will stretch up some. Just make sure you keep it lubricated with treadmill silicone lubricant and other than that it’s pretty maintenance free
now i have to buy a bat on amazon :)
👍😂 Still cheaper than calling a service technician.
Way cheaper! 👍😊 Nothing like fixing things yourself.
Concise and informative. Thank you.

I was wondering how to oil my treadmill. Thanks for video!
Pennzoil 5w 30. Use about half a quart.
Thank you.
Hi, if the baseball bat doesn’t fit because the belt is too tight, what should I do ?
Belt is too tight
That belt seems loose? I can barely lift mine 2 inchs.
It looks loose to me too. You should not be able to lift it more than 3 inches in which case the baseball bat would not fit
Great vid, thanks !
👍😊
We don't have lubricate in my country, and we can't order it online, can I use castor oil or any other oil
Call the manufacturer and ask them what to use. I was thinking silicone grease like you use on a car.
Is this Doug DeMuro's dad?
Great vid!👍👍
👍😊
Great! Thanks !
Hmm. I don't have a baseball bat. Maybe a piece of 2x4 would work...?
Buying a baseball bat is cheaper than other method. If you are hesitant to buy, may be you can rent online . 😀
A rolling pin might work
Simple and to the point, love it! Anyone know if you can use WD40"s silicone spray, will it do the same job?
No
No, due to it's not 100% silicone.
My understanding is it will not.

Good to know!
In Soviet Russia, treadmill lubricates YOU.
No baseball bat, used rolling pin, THANKS.
👍😊
How many interval of days we should put oil please answer
It’s not based on intervals but rather when you no longer feel silicone on your hand underneath the belt
My Horizon T303 says every 150 miles.
Thank you
