Thanks so much. I’ve waited for this video to provide actual numbers with the exact same rounds and weights of rounds that I use. You are correct that the gun performance was better without the modifications. I’ve come to conclusion based upon your data that if one was to use this as a less lethal weapon, using a combination of aluminum and chemical rounds may be a good idea. Please keep in mind, that Mike Moots has said that he has gotten better results with the TPM1/Glock versions than the PPQ possibly due them having a longer barrel. We also have to keep in mind that here in the United States, over 80% of self defense situations were someone had to draw a weapon, no shots were fired. This tells us that it really doesn’t matter what weapon you use, as long as it appears to be a firearm, the assailant is more likely to disengage before the need to pull the trigger. Reality is that most who have a firearm will most likely never use it outside of target practice and hunting. Home invasions was the most likely place for the need of having a firearm in the studies conducted. Only 9% were outside the home and off the homeowners property. These studies have led me to conclude that there is quite a bit of paranoia going on in the United States where people are taking up arms for a small percentage of the likelihood that they will come under attack at any moment outside their homes. Our news broadcast has contributed to this paranoia by constantly reporting on mass shooting. This only has led to more perpetrators committing these crimes as most are seeking the attention and recognition given to the perpetrators. Thanks for the video and the data.
Thank you my friend. Glad you like the video. Thanks for all the info also. I guess the barrel lenght is the reason it dont give more power. I will try again when its warmer outside. Maybe it will work better then. Cheers my friend 😃👍
The bad thing is when you come into a situation under the small remaining percentage and have nothing in your hands...I guess the crime rate would be higher in the states when less people have guns because real criminals always will find an illegal gun.
My TPM1 arrived today and I'm over the moon with the quality and feel of it, it feels way more realistic than I'd expected and the quality of the polymer lower is really great. Got some rubber balls to start but I'll get a pack of some harder hitting stuff once I've done some investigation into what's the best in terms of velocity and materials.
i guess if i had one i could totally dissect it in my lab and see what i can do , but RUNE , im having to much fun with my HDP.50 and my HDR .50 and .68 , im still 5 months later doing intensive testing with them , im trying to build the ultimate less than lethal markers that use only 12 gram co2 . i did get the fittings ,tank and coiled hose from HOMEDEFENCE-24 so ill have them when i make my ,not self or personal defense marker , but a bigger home defense type marker designed not to be carried . awesome music by the way as always !!! LOL
Thanks for your testing I enjoy your videos. I watched the test from a company that sells an inexpensive spring the same or similar to the one you have here. The person testing it said to leave that black ring in that you removed. They were supposedly getting about a ten to fifteen percent FPS increase using it. I don't have any personal experience just thought I'd pass it on. Complete technology solutions is looking into the spring upgrade and I believe doing some testing before releasing information. I've heard there are holes on the valve that can be covered, not any on the magazine itself, that deletes the blow back giving more power. However, then you have to rack the slide for each shot. Anyway, thanks again for your insight.
Thanks my friend. Yes I think its good for plinking, not so much for defence. Shooting at others will only make them angry. So for training and plinking only
Hey, Rune. I just found some old ASG CO2 capsules (2 years old) and used one in my .43 T4E Glock 17 gen 5. After each mag dump, I warmed it up in my pocket for 2 minutes, before reloading it to shoot again. And had enough decent power for 8 mags +6 rounds. I used the .43 cal blue power balls T4E. With the Umarex CO2 I get usually 6 mags. So I recommend the ASG capsules when out of Umarex ones
Thanks for the info my friend. I have not seen any ASG CO2 canisters here in Norway for several years. Not sure why. If I can get hold of them I will buy some :)
This video was made before I changed the valvespring. A softer valvespring will give you more 10%++ power. If you also do other mods you can get quite good power from it.
Hello RR. I'm Kim. I'm in the USA but my family is from Copenhagen. I need advice on my HDR68. I've put on the power kit, tuning mag, and tuning barrel. While I was trying out the gun the other day a small 1/4-inch black O ring came out of the barrel. I've tried to watch all the disassembly videos but I could not find any that show this tiny O ring. If you could send me an answer or make a video that would be very helpful. Thanks again and keep on making videos. Bye for now!
Hello Kim. Thank you. Iam glad you like my videos. That small black O-ring is from the front of the valveblock. You dont need it anymore. Take care and happy shooting. Cheers 😃👍
Hi. I put in a softer spring. This along removing the washer will improve the flow of CO2. My PPQ jumped up from ca 6 joule to ca 8 joule after I did this 😃
@@runerebel8441 Ok thank you. One more question: This Walther and S&W M2 provide 2 types of springs for the magazine: one is for paintballs/pepperballs and another one for rubber balls. That for rubber balls is of a harder material. If I install this harder spring and use it for both rubber balls and for paintballs and pepperballs, will it function? Or do I have to change it everytime I want to shoot rubber balls or pepperballs?
@@morriszachrisson8359 Hi. I only use the soft spring in mine, no matter the ammo I use. Never any problems. A hard magazine spring will make the triggerpul heaviyer also, so I prefere the softer type.
rune I think the 1mm longer firing pin is a great idea, to try and get a little longer pin-valve pressure and time for co2 release. any idea what would be a compatible pin or where to look? I don't like most mod ideas for the .43 series because I think they are too much work for too little result. something has to change in the magazine gas system for the real magic to happen. I was hoping the softer valve spring would do the trick, and haven't tried it myself but doesn't seem to be having much effect and I worry about reliability and possible faster rate of leak of co2 in storage.
Hi my friend. Yes a 1mm longer firingpin should help release more CO2. Maybe you can trim down a nail and make one from it? Not sure 🤔. If you open it up then glue a pice of lead on the hammer. That will make for a harder strike on the firingpin/valve. I guess this will rise the velocity quite a bit. But you need a pistol with longer barrel, like the Glock copy 🤔. Not sure if you gain much in the PPQ 🤔
I was thinking the same for starters my neighbors would call the police for another before I decided to carry this I had it personally tested on me(with steel powder rubber ones) let me tell you I would not recommend firing this in a house 😂😂😂 anyhow great video

Hello amigo. Put in a softer valve spring. You can buy one from www.homedefence-24.com or use a ballpen spring. That will rise the power. I recommend you use aluminium balls for max energy 😃
