@@HeadsetAdvisorso this is what’s making my headset purchase so complicated. I need a basic RJ9 headset, but I’d like to get an all in one if possible. From what I’ve seen online the Poly Voyager and Voyager Focus 2 has been having a lot of connectivity issues. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they’re Bluetooth headsets that have these issues, I don’t think headset technology has really come that far since plantronics and NASA. The hardware seems like it’s basically the same… everything is just digitally processed now. I have 10+ phone agents that are trying to use BT devices to connect to the dongles but theres a lot of interference or drops. Does anyone know how many BT devices can be in 1 area or a model that i can use with that many?

Thanks so much for posting this. As I was researching headsets I was puzzled how Bluetooth devices "need" their included USB dongles. (There are BT keyboards that do this too, BTW. Now those make more sense, too!)
When using the dongle on my docking station, it's virtually unusable. If I connect the dongle directly to the laptop, it's much better, but I can have it stick out all the time...
This can happen with some docking stations unfortunately. If you're able to try a different docking station that may be the fix, otherwise you need to stay connected directly to the laptop.

I wanted a FOCUS 2 and then changed to a (size matters with mics I feel… Poly 5200 is the exception, tbh Poly was the exception until they started making their headsets worse in many cases) Voyager 4320UC-Office where I buy the Adapter base separately… but think I’m better off with old tech around Circa Savi era… because those headsets will work until the batteries give out, but when a big company (ahh emm HP) cam just roll out an update and make your headset obsolete (Apple iPhone 6 battery gate) it makes me not want a newer headset that doesn’t use straight DECT… am I being paranoid 🤷♂️. Until the technology caters to onboard processing power Iin the hardware or at least software built in with a screen (only one I know is Yealink WH67) or something I can’t see buying a work headset that strictly Bluetooth
i have a nubwo g06 so which one should i buy?
I lost my Hyperx Cloud Stinger Core Wireless for PS4. What should I do?
what did u end up doin, i just lost mine
Hi
I have Sony ps4 gold Hed set and I lost its dongal how can I connect it with my computer?
Same problem
Can I use with gaming?
What if you use a mac? Should you prefer to use usb dongle or built in Bluetooth from Mac?
With a headset it's always recommend to use the Dongle whether it's Windows or Mac. This gives you the most reliable connectivity.
I have 10+ phone agents that are trying to use BT devices to connect to the dongles but theres a lot of interference or drops. Does anyone know how many BT devices can be in 1 area or a model that i can use with that many?
What devices do you have the newer Bluetooth headsets should be able to get more than 10 Bluetooth headsets together without interference. For more than 30-50 we recommend DECT headsets like Jabra Engage 55. Contact our team 800-683-5715 or email info@headsetadvisor.com and we can help
Thanks so much for posting this. As I was researching headsets I was puzzled how Bluetooth devices "need" their included USB dongles. (There are BT keyboards that do this too, BTW. Now those make more sense, too!)
Glad we could help!
Hii , My dad has an old wireless headset which requires USB dongle (the name is : XFones PC-2400) . I have the USB dongle but was wondering that if there is any way I could connect the headset with my Android mobile . Please help me , would be waiting for your replyy😄😄
The audio quality of built-in Bluetooth is extremely bad on Jabra headsets. While it may work in a pinch, you’d definitely want to use the dongle.
Spot on
How about the Sony Pulse 3d?
My pc only recognizes the Bluetooth sounds not the Bluetooth mic???
Do you use a headset with a USB Dongle or are you connecting to your computer via Bluetooth?
Just Subbed thanks for the info
You’re welcome! Thanks for the sub
5:18 for quick answer. Useful information throughout the video tho.
Thank you 🙏
sometimes the USB makes it impossible to use a pc with or without it which is why I hate USB headphones (It's happened twice before)
it worked , thank you
You're welcome!
No it's not working for voltedge
The only reason you need USB dongle to connect bt headset is Windows does not have API to bridge BT hfp profile call control protocol to app like Teams or Zoom.
Microsoft is trying to fix this gap.
And about headset wireless?
How do you mean?
why would not even talk about 2.4 wireless.
Good question. Sorry to disappoint will work to improve for the future.
its been a minuete and 10 seconds and you've repeated the same stuff ;-;
Ugh so sorry we have created new processes on future videos to be a lot more concise and thorough thanks for the feedback we will work to improve
It’s 2.4ghz! Not BT
What's 2.4ghz? There's Bluetooth and 2.4ghz options.
better you show working demo rather than giving unnecessary talks
Thank u for waisting my time for a yes or no question not making a video aboutba headset dislike 👎
sorry... Yes you can use your bluetooth headset without usb dongle.
So long video short. No
Will work on that for future thank you
Oro Dongle
You know it!
