I’ve had none of these problems with my Pulse 3D headset. I have from day one plugged the wireless adapter into the USB port on the back of the PS5. And the option to supply power has always been on. This should not be an issue as USB ports generally have chips that can distinguish if a power supply is plugged in or not. Most issues I’ve seen from people with any kind of peripheral stem from using the usb A port on the front. I’ve always gave advice to use the back port if possible.
So the ps5 have 3 USB ports and 1 usb-c port…can you please inform me on how each is different? Like which ones are meant for data transfers and which is for charging….
@@jacktonsauron8185 they tell you not to use the back usb for this as it can over heat the dongle as heat goes to the back of the system so its better to use the front

Question, I have it charged completely, but for some reason even when it's fully charged regarding the headset, my console is still showing the battery animation as if it's still charging even though the headset is charged. Very simple question, hope you understand.
Other issue I experience was that if the battery is low, you may experience hiccups in the signal and loss of audio,when I experienced that, everytime I moved the audio would cut, after fully charging the headset it fixed.
Another tip, go to sound settings, change output to hdmi and switch it back to headset, and that will fix any issues if audio isn't coming out of the headset

In comparison to the other headsets, these are pretty uncomfortable. The top band does nothing but put more pressure on my head, the ear cups also clamp a lot of force. My razor blackshark v2 pros are way more comfortable

If u are having mic problems connect your headset any way is fine hold ur ps button down on your controller go to sound/devices look for the box's mute game chat and mute all mics un do those and it should work this is what worked on my ps4
If anyone needs help with sound not working but the headset “connects” go to sound, audio output. Output to headphones(chat audio) then change to all audio! This will allow the 3D audio to show up
As someone whos owned a series X amd now a Ps5. The xbox headset is leaps and bounds above this effort by sony. No dongle needed for xbox.. the headset is way more comfier and earcups are replaced directly through Microsoft.. volume controls are genuis for xbox too. Ps5 headset earcups frayed after a year with clean well maintained use.. i can hear cracking noises on speakers.. and I had to purchase aftermarket earcups to replace it. Also lose the dongle and heaphones become an addition to the bin.

The expander hub costs $10 bucks and you can buy it on Amazon. I also like it because it matches the PS5 color aesthetic with a curved white trim. Just mount the 5 in 1 USB expander hub into the front of your PS5 and you're all set. If you plan on connecting two of the Pulse headsets then just add a label or sticky on both the headset and the dongle so you know which dongle is paired to which headset. I stuck one dongle on the USB port on the back of my PS5 and the other one on the front with the expander hub. I hope your Son and Husband like the setup and I'm sure they will appreciate you for gifting this to them. Especially if your Son plans to play Spiderman Miles Morales on your PS5. For me the connection is lost whenever something gets in between the headset and the wireless adapter. Even if I online sit 6 feet away from the playstation. I can't wace my Hand and this will break connection in terms of loss of Sound etc
Only issue i have personally had is it is fairly painful on the tops of my ears after wearing for any decent amount of time. Picked up new cups for it, but unfortunately they were the same thickness.

I’m playing Spider-Man Remastered on the PS5 and half way through the game and every 20 minutes or so the audio cuts out for a 1/2 second. I think it’s usually in cutscenes so this may be a problem with the game. That brought me to your channel. Subscribed!
The only thing you need to know is that it works great, never had any problem at all and its amazing. Only REAL problem you have is the pillows. They are cheap and will come off in time. But then again, so do the pillows on my Marshall super expensive headphones...

A guy at The store where i bought the pulse headset said it works on ps4 to but i connected it on my ps4 and the noise coming from the right ear is louder than the left ear and using this in a party makes my friends sound trash.

Recently got the headset and was having Issues with audio cutting out while playing Ghost Of Tsushima (could have been happening with other games but more noticeable on a game with lots of talking) Anyway i moved the dogle on the PS5 from the back to the front port and it seems to have sorted the issue out. Must have been because its a corner and near the TV so signal was poor (despite only being 6 foot away)
I wouldnt agree with this. I plugged it into the back and got heaps of drop outs and connection issues, but now its in the front port and i have no issues at all

I’ve had these since January and was in love at first but now with the fake leather coming off the left cup, I tried to fix it by taking of the entire ear up but now have zero clue how to reattach it. 🤦🏼♂️ never again Sony, never again.
My wire for the headset is broken and I don't have the USB dongle to actually use it which makes this headset alongside the wire defective and I can't do anything with them except take up space, it's pretty annoying as my controller also lacks the microphone feature for some reason and now I can't hear out of the headset

@@Remedy_SZN front is for charging and ssd port. Back ones are for hard drives, usb dongles headsets , cameras and also again for ssds.

Great for about 2 hours, then just stopped working reliably. I hope this fixes it, it's comfortable and sounds good.

Moving the dongle to the front port instead of either of the rear ones cured the connection drop outs I was experiencing!

Iove this headset but i am still dissapointed that in 2021 we have to use a dongle to connect it to the ps5. Why?
Because it is a dedicated connection and is supposed to reduce interference with the signal between the console and headset.
My wire for the headset is broken and I don't have the USB dongle to actually use it which makes this headset alongside the wire defective and I can't do anything with them except take up space, it's pretty annoying as my controller also lacks the microphone feature for some reason and now I can't hear out of the headset
I struggle with unmuting my mic. There's a HUGE delay sometimes. Like over 20 seconds haha
