I have watched hundreds, yes hundreds of youtube videos, this has to be one of the top ones, everything clearling and completly explained
I do read the comments before assembly. Make sure you have the hinges to door the correctly, put mine on backward easy remedy. Also when assembly roof make sure third bracket is placed with the smaller s side into the slot. And the screws line up with up notches. Great video and guide lost the instruction do to wet back. These were the only instructions I had so bravo!!
I would put at least two screws on the sides to really help secure the shelves as on my old Suncast, I didn't put any screws. And eventually had problems of shelves crashing down which ended up causing the sides to bow out, which meant I had to nail on little pieces of wood on the side of the shelves to be able to mount it. I eventually figured out screws were supposed to go in the sides, and screwed it down and didn't have anymore problems of shelves falling down.
Though your white brackets is a good move that I should have thought of.
Thank you for your very thorough explanations and examples. You were easy to understand and were meticulous in your directions and assembly. I really enjoyed your video and will use it to assemble my shed.
Yeah except the terrible latch explanation
Thank for these instructions ! Very helpful video
at first I was concerned with the Roof but after the support was added I think it'll handle some snow. Nice job! Good helper
Does the roof drain forward towards the doors?
Would be nice if ONE of the videos showed how the 3rd bar goes in- doesn't seem to be prematched holes- i cannot figure out- and I have the SAME exact shed sitting right next to me :(
I've got this same model I just bought, and the large plastic screws on mine were a clear plastic. Not sure if the clear plastic are more durable than the brown screws on yours. Though I've got a Suncast shed from 10 years ago that had brown large plastic screws where some of them the head eventually sheared off. There are people who sell replacement screws on eBay. But the thing got flimsy and ended up just getting a new shed.
I was worried about the foundation requirements. Thank you
Just finished mine. Thanks for the tip about the extra latch for added security. With the plastic, someone could easily get in with a multitool, but at least it makes them take longer and gives time to grab my firearm 😂
Those bolts in the door are useless. They are not attached to anything solid as there is a hollow there. The small screw is the only thing holding it in place.
I have another shed and it kept coming out even though the long bolts were properly inserted. As previously mentioned, after a closer examination I noticed the problem as stated above here.
Remedy the problem, you either need 2 small screws, instead of one. They would go at the top and bottom or screw in a thin metal piece above and below the hollow(s) so the doors won't pull out.
OMG. I just went 5 rounds with one of the hinges. It does not fit...I think it goes with another shed. Tomorrow I'm gonna bend that thing with a wrench and make it work. Too pissed right now and gave up.
@@kimmayer9007I wish we could start a support group, this mf made it look easy but stupid all at the same time
Thanks for the video.
Very good , thank you.
Would it be possible to build the shed and then move it to a different location? Would it be too heavy or unstable? Thanks
Great video! Smashed the like button! What size is the rebar you used (length and diameter)? Thanks!
1/2" 2'
👍
How much clearance do you need to open the doors?
How big is the box?
What size of rebar?
If I wanted to paint what would be best to use?
Probably the Rust-Oleum brand spray paint for plastics and resin. I’ve used it for patio chairs and it worked well.
What size screw for the extra hole in hinges?
1/4 20 x 2inch
How does the cost of one of these compare to buying some lumber and building the same size shed?
With current lumber prices? I think you would be FAR better off with a shed like this, which is
how much does it weight? Can it be carried by one person?
No very heavy
He mentioned 180 pounds
Thank you, sounds like it'll take at least 2 people.
my left door is rough when i close it, any tips?
Make it is sitting level.
My door latch housings will not snap in on either end. My thumbs are sore😡
Oh my goodness I had the same problem! So frustrating. Would have liked for the video to show just how to get that in.
