Got this for Father's Day 2024. Unboxed and thought...wow I get to spend the day building it. Your video relieved the anxiety and turned it into a somewhat enjoyable experience as I followed along and built it as if you were right there beside me. I even stopped and picked up the next morning at the same steps that you did. Your video was better than the ones where people talked through the instructions. Thanks for the guidance and pointers. Happy Father's Day.
This video was perfect.! I watched it about a million times when i was in doubt of what I was doing and this step by step and his helpful hints made this one of the easiest things I ever built. Thanks so much for putting this video available.
This was helpful!!! We made the mistake of not tilting the panels backward for the first two left corners..we didn’t hear the clicks..but after we realized that we should be tilting everything went smoothly. Assembly looks hard in the instructions but watching this and instructions it turned out pretty easy.. it’s a 1-2 ppl’s job. :)
THANK YOU!!!!!! Couldn’t have done it without this video!! You rock!!! Took me and my husband about 6 hours total. For sure would’ve taken 10 with the paper instructions🙈
Thanks man, that saved me a ton of time and a heap of headaches. I found that by not tightening the trusses up imediatley it was much easier for the roof to be pulled in to them when securing with the screws. So Glad I found this vid.
Hey bro! I don’t ever comment on videos but I just want to say thank you for this detailed guide!!! I bought the exact same one for $1099.99 CAD regular $1299.99 at Canadian tire and I’ve been procrastinating on assembling it due to it having so many parts. This video is perfect and I’ll definitely be using it today while I assemble mine! I appreciate you for putting together this video!!
Thank you! Took about 6 hours in 30 degree temp, but not bad for one person. Not including foundation of course. I'm considering another but its no longer on sale. $650 delivered is a great deal.
Well done...great tutorial vid Don. It was super easy to follow, and was way more helpful than the actual install manual that came with the shed. Thank you big time!!
Awesome video! Looked at different storage sheds, makes, sizes, wood vs resin vs metal and also considered the 7'x7' but the 6'x5' is perfect for my needs. Thanks for sharing! 👍
Thank YOU - It was very helpful watching your video. Better than the instructions it came with. I'm almost done. Just gotta put the roof and doors on tomorrow.
Great video! I just built mine, but watched this a few times just to become visually familiar with it before starting. I'm very adept at building and fixing things, have tons of tools, the weather was perfect, and it took me about 3.5 hours including unboxing, a water break, and cleanup including breaking down the giant box for recycling. I think with two people it could cut it down to maybe 2.5 hours.
How do you like it over time? Just bought one and using this video to help build. Walls were a bit thinner than I expected so wondering what it feels like after frame
Excellent Video my friend. You saved me hours of work. The instruction manual when it comes to the beams is like looking at a CAD drawing very hard to understand. They should eliminate alot of lines in it and show mostly the beam installations. Thanks again very very helpful
Just bought mines. Amazing shed. Will put some plastic shelves and a cross brace for upper storage near the windows. Side note, you can leave the inside glass part film if you want privacy.
I'm looking to build me a plastic panel home. Anyone know where to find panels that snap together similar to this that you can make an entire home with any size? TIA
Thanks for this great video! Can you provide a parts list for the custom gutter that you added? I’m installing this shed with its back to an existing, larger wood shed and would need to divert the runoff water from the sloped roof away from the wood shed. Appreciate how informative your video is!
We just purchased one from Costco. My husband and I are thinking of building it ourselves. This video looks good that I am inspired to try it out. How many hours did it took all together?
Hi I did the entire build myself except a few things like having my son hold up a panel while I secure it. I started later in the day around 4-5pm then it got dark so I finished the next day from morning until about noon. It’s been a while since my build but if I could remember all in all about 5-7 hours. Maybe with 2 people it’ll take an entire morning or afternoon. If you follow the manual along with my video, I think it’ll move very quickly. Good luck let us know how it turned out. 😀
Don I have another question about the shed- this time about accessories. Suncast does not offer many. I need one to hang my weed eater on. Rubbermaid makes them but I don't think they are compatible with Suncast. Do you have any ideas or recommendations for a hook or device to hang a weed eater from?
Hi Don. Would you tell me the actual exterior Length and Width of the Base of the shed? I am teetering on the measurements on what I currently have as a base. Please and thank you.
Hi, I did not anchor it down…with all the stuff inside and it being against the house where the wind usually gets avoided…it hasn’t been an issue at all
Great Video. I do have a question though. Looking at the metal beams that the roof beams attach to, do you have any concern about them not going all the way to the bottom? Seems like all the weight from the roof is now on the screws holding the metal side beams in and not on the beam itself. Just curious as my wife and thinking about getting one.
Great video. My wife and I are thinking about buying one of these but because the roof slopes towards the house it would pull rainwater towards the house and we don’t want that. Can you recall if the door walls are reversible? In other words, could I simply flip the roof around so that it slopes away from the house and still have the doors on the outside of the shed away from the house?
I’m certain it’s not reversible. But check out my other video where I install a gutter to it in just about a couple of hours. ruclips.net/video/eDr1RZVsyWE/видео.html
It's still winter in northern Wisconsin and I want to pre build a base, before unboxing. Are the outside dimensions shown in your video of 5' 8 1/4" x 6' 2 1/2" accurate?
This was a really great video. It helped me out a lot. Can you do one about accessories?? I’ve been looking around, but I don’t know which would be better.
Got the dual barn door shed and reading from another post it was the worst purchase lol at least for assembly on your own. Costco guys quoted me 650 to do it for my mom
my BB poles won't slide in the middle. metal poles are too wide. thinking about cutting the plastic insert holders in order to screw in. None of the bb poles holes lined up . had to use different screws and force many.
can you move the shed into place after its built? or does it have to be built on location.. (im talking like nudging it into place like moving 5-10 feet at most)
Hi, I wrote a long reply but I think an error happened and it’s not posted. Well here it goes again. LOL. It’s been a while since I’ve posted the video I’m trying my best to remember. I started later in the day around 4-5pm and this was later in the year so it gotten dark very quickly so I have to stop and I started again the very next morning. Can get this done in 1 day. Start early so you don’t run out of daylight. 😃
Did you anchor the shed down to the concrete?
Any leaks from the bottom since it's not sitting on a higher base
No leaks at all 😃
Hey, mann! Do you think you could place this directly on dirt? Or maybe gotta throw some gravel there first? Any suggestions?
Did you have to secure it to concrete?
Thanks for the heads up on the main centre channel brackets (x3). Much easier to tighten after everything else is assembled.

$649.99 Wow I’m looking for this shed from Costco. They are selling this for $799.99. When did you buy it?
Just a month or two ago in California
I think the $649 pricing is in-store vs. $799 via Costco web site. Portland, OR area store had them recently.
Just bought mine 2/7/2023 Costco Oregon $649
When will the price drop back to $650??
