    Got this for Father's Day 2024. Unboxed and thought...wow I get to spend the day building it. Your video relieved the anxiety and turned it into a somewhat enjoyable experience as I followed along and built it as if you were right there beside me. I even stopped and picked up the next morning at the same
    steps that you did. Your video was better than the ones where people talked through the instructions. Thanks for the guidance and pointers. Happy Father's Day.

    This was helpful!!! We made the mistake of not tilting the panels backward for the first two left corners..we didn’t hear the clicks..but after we realized that we should be tilting everything went smoothly. Assembly looks hard in the instructions but watching this and instructions it turned out pretty easy.. it’s a 1-2 ppl’s job. :)

I'm very adept at building and fixing things, have tons of tools, the weather was perfect, and it took me about 3.5 hours including unboxing, a water break, and cleanup including breaking down the giant box for recycling. I think with two people it could cut it down to maybe 2.5 hours.

    • @don_wynn
      @don_wynn  Месяц назад

      Hi I did the entire build myself except a few things like having my son hold up a panel while I secure it. I started later in the day around 4-5pm then it got dark so I finished the next day from morning until about noon. It’s been a while since my build but if I could remember all in all about 5-7 hours. Maybe with 2 people it’ll take an entire morning or afternoon. If you follow the manual along with my video, I think it’ll move very quickly. Good luck let us know how it turned out. 😀

    Great Video. I do have a question though. Looking at the metal beams that the roof beams attach to, do you have any concern about them not going all the way to the bottom? Seems like all the weight from the roof is now on the screws holding the metal side beams in and not on the beam itself. Just curious as my wife and thinking about getting one.

    Great video. My wife and I are thinking about buying one of these but because the roof slopes towards the house it would pull rainwater towards the house and we don’t want that. Can you recall if the door walls are reversible? In other words, could I simply flip the roof around so that it slopes away from the house and still have the doors on the outside of the shed away from the house?

    • @don_wynn
      @don_wynn  2 года назад +1

    my BB poles won't slide in the middle. metal poles are too wide. thinking about cutting the plastic insert holders in order to screw in. None of the bb poles holes lined up . had to use different screws and force many.

    Beautifully produced video. Do you think this could be built in place directly against an 8 ft. concrete wall (or at least pretty close)?

      I’m pretty sure that’s not going to be an issue

    can you move the shed into place after its built? or does it have to be built on location.. (im talking like nudging it into place like moving 5-10 feet at most)

    • @don_wynn

      I think it’s light enough to move it a little

      Hi, I wrote a long reply but I think an error happened and it’s not posted. Well here it goes again. LOL. It’s been a while since I’ve posted the video I’m trying my best to remember. I started later in the day around 4-5pm and this was later in the year so it gotten dark very quickly so I have to stop and I started again the very next morning. It took me the entire morning to finish by myself with help from my son here and there to hold up a panel while I secure it. So I’d estimate about 5-7 hours total. Use the manual and along with my video and you have two people working it’d be much quicker I’m sure. Good luck and let us know here how it went. Thanks 😀

      This box is HEAVY! I'm a big guy & I had a friend helping me, and it was still all we could do to shuffle the box around on the ground. No way the two of us could lift it. Probably a 4-man lift! 🙂

    $649.99 Wow I’m looking for this shed from Costco. They are selling this for $799.99. When did you buy it?

      I think the $649 pricing is in-store vs. $799 via Costco web site. Portland, OR area store had them recently.

      @@don_wynn these days, the best deal is Costco's in-store price of $999 for the Modernist 10x8, with barn doors, which ain't shabby. Online it's $1149.

    Are you going to anchor the shed to the concrete slab?
