This channel is soooo special. I feel like most of the popular channels are either way too much about gear, or they're just shooting the same places/subject. With Joe, I always come away thinking "man, I have to travel more" and not "well, that camera is nice, but I don't have $3k".
Yess! Using your resources to seek out the beautiful places and moments in life is the most effective way to capture beautiful experiences with your photographs. No amount of gear can do that for you
Can we take a second to realize this man can not only take amazing pictures but have an amazing talent for film? I love how this was all filmed on an iPhone camera. It genuinely gives it a personal vibe. Keep up the great work!
4:04 is my favourite of all! I've listened to the FOHR Soundcloud and as I understand this is the owner of the 'casa particular' you've stayed Joe - the fact that we can see all these artefacts of her life sprinkled throughout her home in such a intimate moment (call) - it's just eye candy!
I went to Cuba this past November and documented everything on my super 8, canon AE1, and my Polaroid. One of the best experiences I’ve had being unplugged from social media.
Few comments sections filled with as much love and as many genuine responses as this one, you deserve it for consistently making beautiful photographs. Good shit.
What a beautiful video, love how the ambient sound and footage are synced together. Also, I like it how it engages the viewer without the distraction of any voice over. Very nice man!
👀👀👀👀👀👀 *Captured Cuba better than anything I've ever seen* !! That includes any content I've captured during my time spent in this wondrous space n' place in the world.
Only one way to say it: perfect! I loved every second of it. The photos, video, music... it all fits and was a very relaxing experience. Couldn't take my eyes off even for a second.
Lovely documentary of Cuba, Joe. The video goes so well without any form of commentary, allowing the video and 35mm stills to do the talking. Wonderful stuff!
This is the first of your videos I've ever seen. Your photographs are able to capture the essence of everyday life in the most beautiful meaningful way. Because life has meaning. Excellent job
such good times hangin with you and the crew! thanks for all the laughs and for the convos that went beneath the surface. getting to know you on a more personal level was a highlight for me on this trip. much love to you joe -- 'til next time!
this was really beautiful. very fitting music as well. I also really liked the intricate way you showed the film shots with the sound of the film camera shooting. thanks for this
Beautiful vid, Joe. Love the poetic nature of the travel shorts and would love to see more of these in the future. They evoke the traveller in me even more and have me imagining my next trip. They depict what I feel is an accurate insight into the observers eye. The only thing I want added into future vids is narration of how you felt and what you thought while being there, exploring and shooting those moments, haha. Thanks for sharing, I'm feeling energised after watching it.
wow i love this style of video. conveys the true atmosphere of the environment you’re in! i have focused too much on trying to make the trips i make videos of seem the classic “fun and energetic” instead of their true ambience. will definitely be making a video with this style this summer as i go on my camping trips. thank you for the inspiration
I've been having this creative block since the past few months to the point that I'm actually giving up to photograph again. I'm getting bored of my own works and sometimes they look so bad. You're a wonderful photographer, Joe. This video sort of reminding me the very reason why I wanted to get into photography in the first place.

True Soul! ❤️

Really liked the "no talking, just seeing" vibe.

Beaches, vintage cars and cute buildings?? Yes, please, a one way ticket to Cuba✨✨😍
But its Pretty expensive for what it is and there isnt really enough food and daily goods for everyone :(
@@prayforwilly if everyone boycotted the US and traded with Cuba instead, this would change
