I could watch people take photos all day. So enjoyable. Especially watching someone who loves it so much.
I really like this, it’s inspiring and simple to follow... can you maybe do one like this on how to do street photography without feeling awkward or like afraid to shoot subjects?
I really enjoyed listening to your casual and honest thoughts throughout this video, its so great to see into your mind like this. I think this video really represents your love for the ordinary, but yet it's still so beautiful. I look forward to more videos from you man.
Appreciate you pointing out your fav photos at the end 👍🏽
id love to see the post production processing of your scans, how you get such beautiful colours, keep it up!!
yes!!!
@@mrnavarropablo nah, he's also known for editing his shots. Not all scans are good, editing is still needed
I love how you see the world and it's evident in your photographs. Thank you for sharing this and you're amazing!
Waking up on willem’s vid then before sleeping on joe’s vid. What a Sunday🤷🏻♂️
Loved those ferry shots. So beautiful
Always love coming across old vids of yours that I haven't watched. Never fail to inspire me!
Glad you made all these videos public again, it's great seeing your growth Joe.
I’d love to see some behind the scenes of your process before and after you shoot. How you meter for street photography, your workflow after getting your film scanned, what gear and programs do you use, etc. Love the content you’re creating, keep it up!
I enjoy the range of your photo sessions you’ve chosen to show; from Colorado to Nashville and now a simple day in NYC. It’s nice to see how you handle each environment differently. I would love to see this approach applied to your personal vs commercial photography!
Absolutely obsessed with this channel! There's something so calming about watching people do what they love.
This is fine chill music nice photos. And a pleasant voice to listen to. 🙂📷
Joe....EVERYTHING YOU DO makes me happy, from your photography to these videos! please keep making more videos/ youtube! God bless !
this is such a cool style of video and super unique. im excited for what is to come on this channel
I would love to see your approach to composition. Especially ordinary things lol. I find it challenging to frame a scene when it’s something simple like a chair and table. Your video at the dive motel and swim clue had a lot of great examples of what I’m talking about. Good stuff keep it up.
This kind of video is what inspires me to actually start my own film channel! Chill vibes, no extensive vlogging, adequate BTS videos, and soothing voice over. Hope one day I could find the determination to keep on churning out videos like you Joe!
Nice work Joe! I LOVED some of those black and white shots. I would love to see an in depth look into black and white films and how you use them. I know it’s not really your favorite, but learning about mood and tone and how you capture them would be cool!
I think it can be intimidating trying to start a RUclips channel and keeping up with the production value standards that many other channels set, but man, you can do videos on your iPhone all you want. As long as you keep putting out as much positive energy as you do toward photography and sharing your photos we'll all be here to be amazed. You're my favorite channel and photographer by far, man. Can't wait for the day you release a book!
Your color stuff is killer, but the B&W in this video was super good. I'd love to see more monochrome images from you! Keep up the dope work Joe!
Awesome video man! I loved it! Can't wait to see more
Such an amazing video! Love the topic and I often struggle with deciding what film to use. The colors on film or amazing but I love the emotion b&w can evoke.
Loved the simplicity of this video & these photographs. Great job Joe!
Love love love this video format. I really enjoy hearing your thoughts and watching you go through daily casual rolls of film
So beautiful shots! want to see more video like this)
I could literally watch you take photos all day long. The commentary is a plus!
"Finding the beauty in mundane" this was the final phrase that ultimately caught me (but even before this phrase I was blown away).
I do such photographs myself a lot and I think these are the ones I get most joy with! So what else to say that thisis a beautiful video filled with beautiful pictures underlined with nice thoughts?
One love! ✌🏻
Great video as always! Someone already mentioned the laid back, honest comments you make. Love that.
Joe I agree, the ordinary days are the most calm and peaceful, those days are my favorite.
I’d love to see your portrait shoot tips!! Love your photos❤️❤️❤️
Love the black and white photos more, but the colored ones are also so good.
I really enjoyed this video. The pace, the content and the images. Nice work on this series of images!
I see some of myself in you and it’s refreshing to have someone to relate to. Not just with photography but with fashion and other things. I’m trying to get into the film photography RUclips space mostly just to be around people like yourself, willem and George. Keep doing your thing bro! Hopefully I’ll get to meet you guys in nyc
your voice is so calming and this is my favorite content, im loving this. i want to incorporate some photography content on my channel!
Love the shutter sound on yours being different from other channels. Lovely colors of course.
Wildddd! Love this video and the contrast between the two
Yo this video is really inspiring. Never thought about using b&w for showcasing light and emotion. Really makes me want to simply walk around and shoot. Thank you for this
Dude I love your work and I can watch this all day.
Really love these kind of videos instead of gear talk and such things. This, and you hanging out with Willem.
But don 't pressure yourself on posting weekly. Keep it fun for yourself :)
Your photos inspire me a lot 🤟
I love the simplicity and the genuineness of this vid
Absolutely loved this, Joe!
That one photo where there are both the reflection and the shadow of the same girl 🔥
I love your honesty Joe! ❤️ I just love everything you do man keep it up!
SUBSCRIBED 😍
There's so much beauty in the ordinary. I love content like this, it feels pure and authentic. It is more about the content and the art not the technicality of the video. I really appreciate this, lovely photos. I'd love to try film photography, I am obsessed.
That shot at 6:11 is AMAZING. Loved this
Fav color should be 2:17 hands down. Very interesting picture.
Niceeeee! Thank you for the quality content Joe!
Simplicity is the best. Liked your b&w more in this one
I think this is your best video yet.
Great as always :)
You really give me the Vibes. I love it. Thanks for sharing this Trip with us! :) Greetings from the cold germany
this type of videos inspire me a lot!!!
I love seeing your channel. I am an ameteur and I use digital camera to shoot. Even though you use classic camera I hope I still can learn from it. Thanks
yoo love this video dude💎 awesome work
Not sure if it's because of how much I love NYC or how great the pics were, but they made me tear up a little.
I’d love to see a weekly breakdown of the photos you took daily. It would be very motivating to just get out there and shoot a roll a day
Really enjoyable Joe, thanks.
You make Portra look like 60’s Kodachrome. Beautiful!
Would be so nice to get your exact thoughts on what makes you decide to take a photo when your out shooting.
I really liked showing your favorites at the end as some kind of summary.
definitely do a video on your post processing workflow please!!
So good! Can you talk about some of your favourite lenses you've used in the past, or what you'd like to try in future?
Love everyday stuff as well.
Killing it bro!
Just recently found your work and I'm honestly so inspired !! Your videos are awesome and obviously your photos too.
As a photographer did you have a digital to film switch over the years? Or have you always just shot film?
Hey Joe, do you scan the film yourself or does the lab do that for you? Thanks man, I’m really loving these videos!
after watching ur videos,i decided to enjoy every moment the camera is in my hand.but i haven't got any camera yet*that sucks.i hope it will be someday.[from me to my favorite photographer].
aweseome stuff super refreshing keep it up
Admire your work! Love from Rio, Brazil
Really nice images, prefer the colour myself
The photos are beautiful! But like, can we get a styling guide? 😂 Because everything you wear is just 🔥 🔥
this is such a refreshing thing to hear. i have my eyes out for something with @willemverb in the future!
been following your work for a long time now & ive loved getting to take in a broader scope of your work here!
Nice photos! I for one would like to know how you are rating your film, I.e. box speed vs custom rating. Your color looks like you’re overexposed by a couple of stops. How did you rate your Portra? Thanks and keep up the good work!
I wish you would a video for someone who’s just starting out photography like a tutorial video- I think it would be very helpful and your at that level we’re your insight would be very helpful
I would love to know more about how you edit your photos (not editing as in Lightroom) but editing as in your authorship choices, the photos that make it onto your website, your instagram, you're favorites etc. How do you know/decide what are your "best" photos. Thanks!!
Keep Them Coming 🔥
more videos like this please!!
KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING, LOVING IT
Also, do you use two separate cameras for color and b&w? Or just bring one camera and randomly pull out either?
this video has inspired me to film a video
Hey Joe,
Another banger as always.
How do you find shooting range finders wearing glasses? You obviously you don't have problems with framing and composition. I'm thinking about making the splurge on a RF and wondering what other lenses you've shot with the Leica. I'm thinking 35mm / 50mm. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to test drive one myself. - Fellow optically impaired film geek.
Hello 👋🏼 I would love to see you taking instant photographs. It’s something I have never seen from you. Hello from Colombia 🇨🇴
psst hey Joe, and news on where the street diaries uploads went? Will they be coming back? was looking for that young inspo lmk
watching some old vids hahah, hi Joe
ordinary and mundane = a great RUclips video
Let’s go 🔥🔥
Love your videos
i would love a video on how you approach a photo.
do you develop the film yourself?
Any thoughts on live stream your photo taking trips?
Hi wha photo fil do you use for your B+W and color photos?
I’m just sayin if joe mah man made a photog book I’d be stoked 🤷🏼♀️
What settings do you use when youre out doing street photography
Im starting to like this Joe guy
nice work as always. do you overexpose portra 800? if so, by how many stops?
Kanin Harden he answers that in a previous video. Go check it out!
Do you develop your own film or take it somewhere to be developed? Since you shoot so much film, wouldn't taking your film to be developed get expensive?
Will you be making more pov videos?
You should do a video on this same natural note, but while you're working for a client
