    I've never been in Club 33 so I don't know if any nods are there, but the club existence itself is a hidden Walt. And lets not forget that the Dream Suite, above POTC, started out as Roy & Walt's Apartment Suite (that was never finished).

    Hey fresh baked! I thought of another way we can think of Walt Disney when we visit the park. Anytime you see the little red fire truck driving Main Street you can think of Walt as he would often come into the park and drive his little red fire truck around MainStreet. I believe he did this prior to the opening of Disneyland and maybe if I remember correctly when the park was closed for the day. I remember watching a documentary about Walt and learning about this fact and that “Walt was simply playing with his toys.”

    As a big Disney fan, I’m surprised I only knew a few of these facts. Thank you David for educating me on the rest. I feel like I just had the Walt Tour. I can’t wait until my next trip to check them all out. As for other ways to remember Walt, I like to enjoy some of his favorite foods like Walt’s Chili or the Chicken fried Chicken (not to be confused with fried Chicken) which are both served at the Carnation Cafe. Delicious!

    I miss going to Disneyland in the 60's and 70's when admission was just a few bucks. We would go for an afternoon or an evening. We would spend more time looking at these gems. Now, with exorbitant fees, in order to get their money's worth, most people feel they need to stay as long as possible, running from big ride to big ride, missing most of the whimsy, music and charm of the park. As teens we would go for an evening, find pretty girls and not spend every second waiting in lines. I miss those days. I still have some old "E" tickets.

    • @kidwajagstang
      @kidwajagstang 5 лет назад

      katie gray I was about to say, I took the Footsteps tour and we never went aboard the Lilly Bell. My family did, however, get to ride in it the opening day of the Indiana Jones ride as the park was extremely crowded and we were trying to board the railroad, but there was no room, but I was able to convince the employees to let us ride in “the fancy caboose” since it was empty. I don’t think they had worked there long as they didn’t know anything about it, and neither did my family at the time. We took two trips around the park, while the employee and I speculated on why only this one train had a “fancy” train car and if maybe there were others used thru the years for VIP visitors to the park or if this was the only one, and how often it actually gets used and if it’s detached when there aren’t any scheduled VIP visitors. That whole day my family kept getting extremely lucky and had a few rare Disney moments happen to us. Only negative Disney moment was the near 4 HOUR line to ride Indy. It made sense by hour 2 why they gave us “translation cards” to interpret the writing, there were interactive parts of the cue, and it actually had bathrooms and drinking fountains at points in the line as it was a LONG wait and Fast Passes weren’t yet thought up.

    Fresh Baked - I just stumbled across this going back to 2017. When I got to the want ad for a flying pixie I immediately thought back to the first time I saw Tinkerbell. This was after the Matterhorn had been built so she may not have been the very first one. I saw her enter the Matterhorn in costume. She was rumored to have been a circus aerialist.
    She had to have been quite elderly. She looked grandmotherly on the ground, and was probably shorter than 5' tall. But she scaled the Matterhorn from inside, and she flew across the park. She was amazing. You probably know more about her, like her name. But even as a kid I remember how the other cast members were just in awe of this aerialist.

    For starters I just like to thank you for all you do for all of us Disney fans. You all do a great job and I love watching your videos the only suggestion I have and you probably might not like it is to just keep your Disney Channel and mention your other channel that you can do other things on because I'm pretty sure in time you'll end up having more views between the two channels. By the way I'm sure you don't remember because I'm sure you meet plenty of muffins every day that you go to Disneyland. But I was with my daughter my grandson my family about probably 3 years ago and we were walking through the main candy store on the right side of Main Street as you walk out and I'm sorry but I can't remember what it's called. Anyways we're walking through and here comes David with his camera out and Sarah was there and it seem like someone else but it wasn't and I don't think it was Christian but anyways I got a picture with you I gave you a handshake I gave you a sideways man hug I'm sure you didn't expect but I really appreciate what you guys do and I just think there's a possibility you might get more views and be able to if you had two channels especially seeing as how you can promote one from the other and obviously there are tons of Disney fans. Anyways just my thought doesn't matter to me whether you call it fresh baked or fresh baked Disney or fresh-baked and stuff I'll still watch it all. I just have a feeling if you kept fresh-baked Disney and mentioned fresh-baked Disney and stuff is another Channel then you can show other stuff which other RUclipsrs I've seen have done and I suppose it worked out better for them because they keep doing both channels. The main RUclipsr I'm talking about for starters I just like to thank you for all you do for all of us Disney fans. You all do a great job and I love watching your videos the only suggestion I have and you probably might not like it is to just keep your Disney Channel and mention your other channel that you can do other things on because I'm pretty sure and time you'll end up having more views between the two channels. I just have a feeling if you kept fresh baked Disney and mentioned fresh baked Disney and stuff is another channel then you can show other stuff which other youtubers I've seen have done and I suppose it worked out better for them because they keep doing both channels. The main youtuber I'm talking about is something rather start and his main channel is randomland and most of his videos are at Disneyland. For some reason I'm thinking it's Jeffrey start but that also doesn't sound right. I love his videos too because he's very informative on history of all kinds of things like I've been there probably a hundred and fifty times and every time I watch one of his videos he tells me something I didn't know and I love that. Anyways you might want to try and contract and Ham and see what he thinks because I know he has numerous channels and he could probably give you a little insight on whether you should stick with one channel or Branch out LOL. You know what now that I think of it I think his name's Jeffrey Stark but I'm not sure anyways you might not read this but I'm just trying to give you a little advice that hopefully will help things work out better for you and your Channel. Love you guys all for doing what you do I normally go to Disneyland 6 or 8 10 12 times a year from Sacramento so it's not cheap that's for sure I would give anything to live down there in your area and get a season pass for half the price and be able to go over to Disneyland for dinner or for a snack or on a date or whatever whenever I wanted to four a couple hundred dollars a year instead of a thousand besides paying for hundreds of dollars of fuel and hundreds of dollars for hotel rooms. Like I said love what you guys do keep it up I'm sure you know better than I do what you need to do and I love what you do so4 what it's worth at least don't stop doing what you're doing for goodness sakes. I get my Disney fix right here on RUclips 300 days of the year at least LOL. God bless you all and have a great time at Disneyland and in your life. PS I Love Disneyland so much I couldn't tell you how much I love it but I could tell you that I don't think I could go there three or four days a week for a year or two or three or four without getting pretty burned out so thank you so much for what you do because when I need my fix I know where to find it fresh-baked is always the place I find it.

    It’s a shame I don’t have any photos of Disney’s grand daughter’s house in the outskirts of where I live. Back in the nineties, you could see part of it from the road, but now the surrounding brush covers any sort of view of it. Think of if the 7 dwarves turned their cottage (complete with grass looking roof) into a huge mansion. Truly a very unique looking home. Would make for an interesting inclusion to a Disney facts video IF I could actually get a good photo or two...

    I’ve always wondered about the lantern in the window. As the boss of the company, did he really want a “signal” to let cast members to know when he was there and to be on their best behavior? Isn’t that other side of that an invitation to screw around when he’s not there?

    Are you sure about the second story regarding the petrified tree? You mean I've been making a fool of myself every time I told others that it was an anniversary gift from Walt to Lillian? How come we didn't get the real story in the first place? Thanks for bursting my bubble, haha! ;-)
    The telegraph heard at the NOS station is actually a precursor to Morse code developed by Alfred Vail, who was a partner of Morse.....known as the "Vail Code". (Now I get to do some "bubble bursting".....but I'll probably find out that that's wrong, too....sigh)

    It always kind of bugs me when you call something "hidden" when it's in plain site and instantly identifiable. Hidden Mickeys got their start when imagineers were designing Epcot. The company planned for EPCOT to be adult oriented and to sell alcoholic drinks. But Disney characters and alcohol were considered to be improper together, so they decided that none of the characters like Mickey and Minnie would ever be seen at EPCOT. The imagineers took that as a challenge, and started adding hidden Mickey silhouettes into the design of the park. This was typically three circles, two representing the ears and one main one for the head. The outline could be made up of plates, circles, stones, glass panels, or whatever else they thought they could fit it into.
    Since they were not intended to be easily noticed, the name "hidden Mickey" was later coined for them. If it's an obvious character reference or easily spotted and identified, it's not a hidden Mickey. They are supposed to be subtle.
