Hey slick it's me Bill again I can't get that Cutlass out of my mind it's so cool a cross between a regular Cutlass and a wagon maybe grab those slot rims you seen in the yard if they have a whole set with some ET radios on the back wow how cool keep the interior bone stock and clean just had me thinking of the old G bodies I have owned hope you choose to do it good luck buddy

This old guy always dreamed of a 40 Ford. A guy with your talent could really turn this into a cool ride. The Oldsmobile is cool also but the 40 is awesome.
@ it kinda sucks but what good is money anyway lol I’m fine having things I don’t need (as long as the bills are paid and the kids are taken care of) and be happy than rich and have nothing vehicles are an addiction we just have to accept it and enjoy it lol
I had a black 85 Regal as my first car when I got my license. A hand me down from my brother. It will forever be my favorite car till I die. There’s always room for a Buick in the fleet especially the Regal.
I too like these G-bodies. Presently have "81 Regal Limited 2dr coupe with a GM 350 crate motor, 700R4, and B&M ratchet shifter. It's my show n shine vehicle.
I like the G body cars but that big olds in background brought back some memories, my aunt had one she would "jump" it. I remember standing up in the seat to make it more fun. Before safety sally was born.
That white peach is awesome.. my brother had a 442 like that black one you had. Was all one color sorta burgundy trash is what we called it. He went to corvettes after that. Then to pickups, where he fell asleep at the wheel and jumped it 20ft in the air and hit a light pole almost at the top of the light pole took the whole pole down flipped a few times ejected through the windshield and ever since then he drove the biggest vehicle you could possibly get was four-wheel-drive. I don’t think he felt safe after that. He wrecked an awesome F250 I think it was a 1986 and was a brand new grey, man I loved that truck.
Hey Slick, You're doing a great job with these vids! That tater head guy is reading the results sheet upside down lol. Blessings to you and the family!
Blessings to you and yours! We expect a few taters here and there. That’s just part of it. What we never expected was the overwhelming show of support and positivity from folks like yourself. Thank you! Means a lot a lot!
That cutlass is cool. Not all fun rides have to be hot rods. It would be nice seeing something different like that built into a fun cruiser. Digging the channel Slick. You know you’re doing something right if you already have haters too.😅
My first wife had an 88 Cutlass Supreme in '93. It was a pretty nice car. We were t-boned not long after we met. We were hit on the passenger side while I was a passenger. It held up pretty good and was repaired. I didn't fair as well. It's been rough ever since with degenerative discs and chronic neck pain, but she was only a pain for 4 of those years. 😏
You're absolutely right slick it's the weirdest that makes it so cool I've never seen one myself either would make a pretty cool hot rod cool motor and nice rims and just clean it up keep the videos coming buddy😊😊
Love your old 61 Galaxie. I'm building a 61 4-door Fairlane with a similar stance/vibe as yours was. Lowered, patina, 351w and a AOD trans. On steelies of course.
I’d love to see a g body protect! The one you used to have was super sweet looking! Can’t say I’ve ever seen one black with a tan top like that and it looked good!
I had one almost identical to it. Mine had the two tone with the brown and gold on a set of torque thrust rims. It's even the same year as mine was. Man I miss that old car. One of the most comfortable cars I've ever had and they'll run forever.
I owned an 86 cutlass as well and it was such a great car. Unless I'm mistaken it had a 307 ci engine in it and when we sold it it had well over 300.000 miles on it and still ran just fine
That oldsmobile cutlass in the video I knew a guy that had one of those and raced it at the local dirt track. I think he had like a 305 in it. It was a pretty cool looking race car. That was the first time I ever saw one of these types of cars but it was just like that 1. They're pretty cool looking cars.
I bought an 85 Regal through the Air Force exchange back in 85 when I transferred back to the states from the Philippines. Nice car. 2 door but with a 3.8 V6.
I’ve been telling my ol lady I’m getting a wrecker she ask why i said you and your side of family always breaking down lol 😂 awesome video that white cutlass very nice
78-79 Cutlass Salons & Buick Century turlebacks are rare because they didn't catch on and I would like to see some one build one. There's one near me I tried to buy but they scrapped it. It's still there and has some parts. Good luck
Great video as always. We need to see that Cutlass on the channel, you rarely see these anywhere. I think there was a Buick version too and they were not well liked. I dig the weird cars, you could make it very cool.
Those late 70's Cutlass Fastbacks, Hatchbacks or whatever GM called them were almost as ugly as the Pontiac Azteks, LOL But, it's super cool that it's all there and it actually started right up. Might be worth saving just because it unique and "weird" as you said. HAHA
That white Cutlass is pretty sweet ! Definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of it . But also wouldn't mind seeing Your Bug build your Valve eater ( most definitely ) I'll watch whatever lol ! I guess Charlie is the silent partner ? I heard Charlie was gonna do a giveaway car on that old green roadster ?
Haha, Charlie here. I’m just a part time editor that has never done editing before. I’m just on here pressing buttons. Give away? 😂. Oh man, I can live without a roadster! Thanks for watching
That 55 F100 panel sitting next to the most unpopular Caddy-backed Cutlass brings back the memories of my 56 panel. I'm trying to extract the videos of it (found on another defunct RUclips channel) to do video for my new YT channel. But dang, OK would be a long way to go to get the 55.
Definitely go for that 1940 model… that has OK speed & Custom written all over it, and engine turning or not, a quick little drive train swap would be child’s play for Slick and and Chuck !!!
Ya know, it must be nice to live in the South. You and that Pott County legend always pulling cars from fields and the bolts actually come loose. To find a car that clean in NY is extremely rare, and to find bolts that don't disintegrate when you put a socket on them would be considered divine intervention. ahahahah keel up the content!
I don't need another one, but I want another one. Slick I soooo feel your pain. It maybe a good thing for me that there are no junkyards close to my house.

My sister had a Cutlass Salon in the late 80s with a 260 v8. When she blew it up I dropped an Olds 350R in it, that made it scream down the road.

Targa roof chop saw across the roof at the pillar, weld in Cutlas Stainless steel roof 👌
G-body, the possibilities are endless, and they are solid runners

The Regals are so good!
heck yeah that cutlass is sweet!!
That Cutlass salon is save that❤❤
That thing is sick, I say go for it
I've always liked the regal over the cutlass.
Go for it Slick, we’re on this earth for a good time not a long time 🤘🏼
That Salon is SWEET -- get it!!!
It’s definitely unique. I like unique.

You have all the cool ones! We need a Turbo Type! Thanks for stopping by!
I recon you could do something with that Cutless ,thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
You need a "lone wolf" starter for that CUTTY !!!! ROCK THAT HATCH!!!
That’s fact!
@@OKspeedandcustom ROCK THAT HATCH, KID!!!
You won't be mad!!!!! Neither will Mom!!!
Love that Cutlass Salon, reminds me of a Citation but not a fwd heap underneath hah!

Cutlass as a shop car. The tours and will-it-runs are always good content.
Thank you!

I would take that cutlass salon just because its different and kinda cool
16:30 Graft on a wagon roof and make it 2 door wagon.
Cool idea
@@OKspeedandcustom Yes make it a wagon,

Not too many salons being fixed up I like the two doors.
Saw that Grand Prix in the background. I’ve wanted one ever since I sold my 86. Has the g body look but not as common as the regals cutlass and montes
Great video!
WOW there's been more than one car or truck that came out of the wrecking yard that runs great 👍👍👍👍👍🎄
