Dawg! Did I say I was going to finish this car at any point? I'm guessing the "Will It Run" videos are what brought you here in the first place. So you must be into them. Anwho, good luck in your search for the scratch to your itchiness!
Dude, if you would've really watched the video he plainly says he wasn't gonna finish the car. Early on he talks about the title situation and explains it. SMH.....
No one said you have to watch, if you're ever watched puddin fab get about 5min in it and click on something else especially after he says having a Diarrhea day😅
Did you truly expect a total restoration in a 2 hour video? In the description it clearly says "If you'd like to add this car to your collection it can be purchased for $1800 USD in the condition shown in the video."? Or is whining like a toddler just easier than reading?
Mr. Mortske, If you would Take a tip from an old timer, who learned from an old timer when I was 20, You'll save most of those copper radiators. I used to think I wasn't good at soldering too. Then I was taught the magic. The key is to get the metal clean. I don't mean by spraying brake clean on it. You have to use a wire brush until the area looks like a new penny. If you'll do that, the solder will run into the crack or joint as if by magic. And you will be the solder master that everyone will admire.
Yeah preparation.is the key. When you get right it's amazing. Usually I'm in too much of a rush and it doesn't work the first time. But I've heated up radiator necks that were leaking, brush all the surfaces clean, coat it so that the space all the way around is full of flux and it sucks the solder right in. Shiny clean and strategic use of flux. That's it.
From the look on Duff Dog's face at the start of the video, he must be suffering from the Monday Moring Blues Mort. As always, a big thumbs up for reviving a classic American automotive gem.
Thats one of the reasons that my brother and i havent bought one. The support isnt there. You have to own a slew of cars to get it right. Much less the hours of work thats involved.

A really “Classic” episode today, Mr. Mortske & Duff Dog. Much appreciation and thanks to you for putting in the time, money, and work, to produce these automotive time capsules. Well Done. Love the Duff!
Duff's face thinking there was hope for a ride while you were checking the brakes to immediately going back to sleep when the pedal stayed on the floor was hilarious.
Get well soon Mojo!! Mortske need you soon as possible, because when he starts using flexi hoses his mind is starting to go cuckoo for Cocoa puffs . I would have loved to seen that 65 Buick Riviera when it was new.
Love this stuff! I well remember these great Buicks from when I was a kid. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about. Man I love those 60s Buicks..... About 10 years ahead of their competitors in style and wow factor. Can't imagine a sexy interior like that in a Mustang or Transmarobird, yet they still haul ass and look great when out on a cruise. Lost sight of you doing the burnout in the garage, mate. It reminded me of an old mate of mine's 1965 Mercedes 220S "fin-tail". It was a 4-speed car with a 2.2 litre inline six that was tired about 30,000 miles before he owned it, so it was poked when he first got it to start and emptied the contents of its oilpan out the tail pipe. You couldn't leave it idling for very long at for two reasons - 1) it would oil-foul the plugs and 2) you started choking on the acrid cloud that was permeating anywhere within 4 feet of the vehicle - and if you were behind it, you were cheating. It was a no brainer that the engine was switched off when sitting at traffic lights, else you didn't know when they had turned green.........which was fine because nobody else did either. One evening, him and I went out to meet up with another group of "youthful car enthusiasts" in the old Merc. We parked the old girl up and yarned for a while with them and then went to leave, but he'd parked facing uphill and the Merc's clutch was slipping a bit, so he was a bit worried we'd have issues and get laughed at. Now, the fanbelt on the Merc was also notorious for coming loose and when my mate opened the taps in first gear, this time she screamed like a banshee. However, far from being embarrassing, we got cheers and whoops of encouragement from the amassed crowd, because coupled with the huge plumes of smoke coming from the rear of the car and the high revs of the Merc as she slowly moved off, it looked like the old girl was pulling the mother of all burnouts! So there you go - all you need is a totally rooted engine, a slipping clutch and a loose fanbelt and no tyres would be harmed in the making of a video. Nowhere near as fun though....and way more expensive to repair! All the best

My parents tried out a used Buick Wildcat with the 455 back in the early 70s. He said that you could watch the gas gauge head towards E going down the highway. They didn't buy it. Too much fuel at 60 cents a gallon around 1976. LOL
I was 15 when the Riviera was new. My Dad bought Buicks up to 1961. From there three years of Chevy to Cadillac. I saw the Riviera new at the Buick dealer in our neighborhood. Those were the days.

I sure miss my 1970 455 Buick Rivera. Loved that boat!
My parents tried out a used Buick Wildcat with the 455 back in the early 70s. He said that you could watch the gas gauge head towards E going down the highway. They didn't buy it. Too much fuel at 60 cents a gallon around 1976. LOL
63 , 64 , 65 Riviera design was definitely top 5 most beautiful GM offerings ever IMO .
right up there!
Diff is saying..... I have no idea what your saying but.....the way you rub me behind the ears that is "The Best" ....keep doing it!
Oh I just paused, A Buick Riviera 1965? Man I really love those cars. On of the best looking cars from the us in my opinion.
Absolutely!
@@MortskeRepairreally nice cars, this one needs a lot of tlc.
You know it's tough times when Mortske is putting on flexi hoses instead of just taking them off. Lol
Gotta do what you gotta do!

Glad you got the fact checker on The roadhouse cars🏆what an awesome movie 🎬
I was 15 when the Riviera was new. My Dad bought Buicks up to 1961. From there three years of Chevy to Cadillac.
I saw the Riviera new at the Buick dealer in our neighborhood. Those were the days.
