I got the 4k pro for $288 there is a coupon code I was able to use at checkout to save some money also if you stream with multiple apps at once the 4k pro is the one you want since the 4k x is not able to
Thanks for the info on Testing Elgato 4K X & Pro! I have a question though, since I've seen a lot of RUclipsrs with gameplay walkthroughs that look super smooth. Even though RUclips and Twitch don't support super high frame rates yet, I know recording in 4K120 with HDR can take up a ton of space and bandwidth. Since most gameplay videos on RUclips are still in 4K60, is it really necessary to record at 4K120 if most viewers are watching on their phones anyway? Just wondering if there's a good balance between recording quality and file size. (I just subscribed to this awesome channel)
I project from my gaming pc obs to my streaming pc obs. Would these both allow me to stream in 1440p that way? And record in 1440p? Or do I HAVE to do a pass through
I'm tempted to get a 4K Pro, now I just need to crouch and open my case to see if I got room... rip

Not sure to understand your question? You can play at 1440p and record at 1440p with these cards.
one thing he did not mention in the review is the 4k x can't record multiple apps at the same time whereas the 4k pro can
first
