26:10 Telekung refers to a hijab worn almost exclusively for praying. It covers the whole body, except the face. There are those who do not wear telekung during prayer, but most Muslim women in Malaysia will wear it during prayer. Telekung has a hijab cloth that is long up to the knees so it can cover our upper body part. It usually paired with a sarong cloth (loose-fitting skirtlike garment formed by wrapping a strip of cloth around the lower part of the body) that slides down to the floor that can cover legs without a person having to wear stockings. The name varies from place to place. In Malaysia, we called it telekung but in Indonesia, they called it Mukena. You can find this special prayer clothing in countries in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Singapore. Of course, it is not a must to pray in this clothing but we find it very comfortable to do prayer wearing those. Especially when your socks are wet or have dirt or when you are at home wearing a short-sleeved shirt, you don't have to change your clothes, just wear this clothing and you are ready to pray.

20:19 The gathering after tarawih is called Moreh. Moreh is an activity of eating together that is done after the congregation has finished performing the tarawih prayer at the mosque every night of the month of Ramadan. Usually, moreh dishes are prepared by members of the mosque. This practice aims to invite the public including children to worship together. In addition, moreh is also a platform for individuals who wanted to give charity food according to their ability to receive rewards during Ramadan

@@rk-br9ftLol just look at what happened to the white guy who hate crimed and killed an innocent Malay muslim in Singapore during eid celebration. That's how much they care about the Malays or Muslims there. Don't say im a nobody to talk about this. The victim share my blood after all.
@rk-br9ft Singaporeans (because of Singapore govt stance) are pragmatic - as a tiny country, we are allies to US and China for citizens' benefit. The govt works closely with middle eastern countries because of foreign investments. Economy is always the deciding factor. 15% population is Muslim, though small, is significant and because we're surrounded by Muslim countries, the govt knows the Muslim community needs to be taken care of. The non-Muslims here are well aware of that too. Racial riots in the 1960s made that clear. It's something that the govt has made clear that it does not want to ever happen again.

I know they are from Yunnan, but I'm just saying based on my experience stayed almost a month in Xinjiang. Especially in Kashgar or the Han's people called it Kashi, the leaves are always covered by the road dirt, and it just turned green and looked fresh when it's raining. And maybe in Beijing they rarely see the tree leaves always green due to the pollution or something like this or it's just big metropolitan unlike KL that have jungle in the city.
@@aidanross9489 Starting from the end of 2023, Malaysian citizens don't need a visa to go to China, there is a 15-day visa-free entry policy. Also, foreigners are required to register for hotel accommodation in China, which is also a local Chinese policy. There are already a lot of very cheap hotels and B&Bs that have access to the Chinese government's online registration system. It means travelers can check in easily. Traveling with a group or individually is fine, provided that you are an adult and responsible for your own travel. Many people say that having to register for everything you do in China is very inconvenient and without privacy. But on the positive side, it's an act of public safety, and as long as you don't do anything bad, registering will only make you safer.

Terbaik bang bawak mereka ke masjid putra jaya..❤❤❤ hope you and wife enjoy in MALAYSIA ❤❤❤

希望你倆有個愉快的旅程,也對於馬來西亞一個不一樣全新的概念。
Jodoh: 缘分❤
Terima kasih Khairul & Hana❤
Do plan your next trip to Malaysia. There are plenty of experience for both of you to explore. The hospitality of Malaysian you can count on. Thank you for a short time being part of Malaysian culture.
14:24 Tepung Pelita is a type of soft traditional Malay dessert. Tepung Pelita is popular in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. This dessert is cooked in a banana leaf mould. It is basically made from coconut milk and rice flour and cooked in a container made from banana leaves. In the middle, it is filled with sugar water which makes it taste sweet.
Alhamdulillah you meet the right person! Thanks to Khairul & Hana! Yes, indeed Allah had planned everything.
Khairul & Hana: terbaiks! I enjoyed this video, very interesting as it gives a different perspective!
有机会可以到马来西亚不同州属看看,可能每个州属会不一样。 很高兴看到你们有 马来西亚朋友 Mr Khairul 一家带你们认识我们马来西亚🇲🇾。也从你们影片学到很多。
At last, you are in the right track - founding Malaysian in Malaysia 😊 Congrats
Nampak komen brother ni sebelum ni nak ajak jalan jalan g bazaar besar, alhamdulilah dapat jumpa
Good job 👍 You have made all Malaysians proud by showing our hospitality. 💖
Alhamdulillah.. and thank you khairul and hana for taking care of our guests. They just wondered around looking for food and stuffs😂
Alhamdulillah, you can experience breaking fast in the Mosque. Hope you can experience different state of Malaysia also in the future. ❤❤❤😊
Assalamu Alaikum. In Australia (at least my area in Brisbane) we break our fast with date & water, some light food like other fruits and maybe a samosa with it so we are focused on the prayer. Then we go to pray Maghrib and after Salah we eat a proper meal before Isha.
#yusof that guy talking about how to entertain you and viona .. they not forget about you... Malaysia people hospitality always try to help and entertain guests...
So we finally get to meet a descendent of restoran Maria afterall, so nice to hear it. Its good to know you Khairul. I'm from Kedah, lived in KL and prior to the pandemic, have been almost a regular weekend patron of the restaurant in Mentakab since 1990. Its the best nasi lemak sotong in Malaysia (at least to my tastebud) in my opinion. To Oldwatch Ma and the spouse, welcome to Malaysia and enjoy your short stay here.
When you come to Malaysia again and it is durian season ( usually between June- August), i would like to invite all 4 of you to my traditional durian orchard in Perak. You can also experience Malaysian village life with our waterfalls and rivers. Insyaallah…
I nak ikut jugak la😂😂😂
I want to come too
Nk jugakkkk❤❤
@@sharrelgohme too 😁😁
Alhamdulillah Marhaban ya Ramadan...❤❤❤terbaik lah 👍👍👍👍👍
Welcome to Malaysia, my brother and sister in Islam.
If you ever come to Singapore, I'd be pleased to show you around and to show you that although Singapore is a Chinese-majority country, the Muslims here are well-taken care of.
Does adzan can be recite using speaker in Singapore? Honest question
@rk-br9ft At Sultan Mosque, it can be heard outside but yes, they use speakers at other mosques too but controlled volume. I go tarawih at a small mosque in one of the smaller estates and yes, I can hear the azan from outside when I'm parking my car.
@@neutroyaz also do islam ever been discriminate there while Singapore being closest allies to US in Asean region? Or non muslim Singaporean doesn't care about US propaganda?
@@rk-br9ftLol just look at what happened to the white guy who hate crimed and killed an innocent Malay muslim in Singapore during eid celebration. They are not even native to Nusantara yet they feel so entitled to bully the Malays just for existing there, where they belong. Could have charged with hate crime laws, because that's the killing is all about but no, it was a freaking grievous bodily harm charge only. Such a joke.
My favorite part about traveling vlog is mingling with the locals part.
What a wonderfull country full of wonderfull people.

"Cheapest durian is the best"
Meanwhile: Free Durian : "hold up.. wait a minute.."
😂😂😂
Khairul was right ''cheapest durian is the best'' only local know what it mean.
33:13 there a reason why M'sia masjid open style, because our weather is very hot so the wind can flow inside.
only around year 2000++ they started install aircond & as you can see it only at the main hall where seround by glass walls.

i understand why he always said the leaf is green in Malaysia. Recently i went to Xinjiang and most of the leaf and car was dirty because xinjiang surrounded by desert
But they're not from xinjiang.. they from yunnan but live in Beijing.. I guess its because Beijing is very metropolitan with lots of big buildings
Was it easy for you to get visa to enter China? Stay was restricted to only tourist hotels, or you got away with some? Tour guided or solo? TQ
Alhamdulillah, Allah let you meet good people. Semoga Allh murahkan rezeki.Khairul & Hana dgn meraikan tetamu.
Sedekah = Charity
Salaam Alaikum. Thank you for the beautiful video from Malaysia. We wanted to go for a long time to visit Malaysia. Nsjallah
it is not too late yet. The Malaysian peopleare so nice.
I kind of understand how you guys feel in China. I live in the US where majority of the people around me aren't Muslim. But dont let that make you feel far from Islam. You can still be around non-muslims and be friends with them while keeping your religious values. I do have a longing to live in a more majority country like Malaysia or Indonesia though. It would be nice to be surrounded by people similar to yourself in every aspect. Maybe one day InshaAllah. Im honestly blown away by the beautiful Masjids in Malaysia. None of the ones I've been to here in the US compare at all in size and beauty.
Terima kasih, thank you for visiting Malaysia❤❤❤
Happy shoping at bazaar Ramadhan
Next visit to malaysia please stay at putrajaya for at least 2 nights. You can walk by the lake near the steel mosque at night. There's a food truck area nearby & on weekends especially you can see people having picnic around the lake. If you crave halal chinese, indian or local food, head to Ayer 8, there's a lot to choose from & at night you can rent a bicycle to cycle by the lake. It is pretty safe in putrajaya. I used to jog by the lake from putrajaya to cyberjaya at night.
12:08 kangbongbadu -> Kampung Baru (literally means New Village)
Primary street for foodies to visit is Jalan Raja Muda Musa on the border of Kampung Paya (Swamp Village) and Kampung Masjid (Mosque Village)
Most places are likely to open starting in the late afternoon so late afternoon is the best time to visit there.
may allah bless both of you❤️
16:34 Kuih Bakar Pandan or Kuih Bakar Kemboja is a type of traditional Malay cake. Kuih Bakar literally means baked cake.
It is usually green in colour because it uses pandan leaves as a dye. It also smells like pandan. So we called it Kuih Bakar Pandan.
It is also called Kuih Bakar Kemboja possibly because the traditional bronze mould used for the preparation of this kuih that resembles a flower plumeria or Kemboja flower in Malay language.
Salam. Hope that both of you enjoy visiting Malaysia and have a safe trip. Love and peace from a Malaysian. ☺
Alhamdulillah.. we are so happy you two can experience our masjid and bazaar Ramadhan with local people who can guide you and make it easier. Thank you so much Khairul and Hana for representing us Malaysian hospitality
May Allah bless both of you. Ramadhan kareem . . .
Alhamdulillah, syabas Mr. Khairul & wife giving the best guidance with special service which has made us proud of u both👏👏👏👏👍❣
If you're all come to all Mosque at Malaysia country... you're not too worries about the foods and drinks during Ramadhan season
most masjid in Malaysia also has separate prayer place for women and men with a curtain or wood borders, but Masjid Besi is open style one.
alhamdulillah bersyukur sangat kebaikan khairul dan hana ...semoga allah permudahkan urusan dunia akhirat...
At the Ramadan bazaar, you can find a variety of traditional and special foods for the months of Ramadan and Eid.
kuih bakar, it means baked cake/kuih. it is not really a cake but there is no word in english that i can think of. 16:36
19:19 roti jala, means net roti because it is like a net 😂
19:22 tau fu fah, tofu curd
Ya Allah May Allah bless two of you, you say such nice things about Malaysia that I never know muslims from outside Malaysia would say it like that, i thought it is normal for many muslim community, i guess we always overlook the blessings Allah give us here in Malaysia, do come again, Salam Ramadhan!
mashallah so near to my place and most places you've visited so far i have been to before. feel surreal maybe because seeing all the same thing in new eyes so it is little special to see how someone outside from Malaysia see things here
i really love your channel focusing about masjid, as myself too learn local cultures by visiting masjid as well when going abroad.
you can visit malaysia next time and do "masjid hopping ". mostly masjid in major states in Malaysia is unique especially the old one have their own architecture stories
You may open business in China and later branches in Malaysia. So you may always come here for businesses not only as tourists. Even so many Malaysians also have business in China. Typically for trading goods
Encik Khairol dan isteri... anda berdua terbaik sebagai mewakili rakyat malaysia. Kebaikan anda berdua moga Allah Swt yang membalasnya. Suami isteri yang positif minded
Alhamdulillah... I feel moved because finally there are also Malaysians who are willing to accompany you both. because from the first day you went to Malaysia...I was wondering...is there any Malaysian who is willing to be a guide for the two of you. thank you for the Malay husband and wife.
love to see you both happy to be here & love to see you both when you speak your tone is soft, the pronunciation you say is clear even if it is pronounced with your own slang..
What a lovely experience.
15:54 Martabak or murtabak (Arabic loan word: مطبق /muṭṭabaq/ literally means folded derived from the basic verb طَبَّقَ /ṭabbaqa/ which means to cover) is a side dish consisting of bread in the form of roti canai layered with a filling of minced meat, eggs, spices, onions and so on.
It can be found in the Southeast Asian region including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand, and also in the Arabian Peninsula including Saudi Arabia and Yemen. One theory is that it may have come from Indian Muslim immigrants from Tamil Nadu located in Southeast Asia and the Arabian Peninsula.
The name and ingredients used vary from place to place, but it remains a popular street food throughout the archipelago, especially in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

17:31 The cylinder is actually called tempayan. Tempayan is a kind of container made of pottery. This container originally comes from China, and is used to store goods, food, water and so on. When the items inside are sold out, this container is also sold.
Tempayan have a variety of uses, including the use of making pickled fish, storing water for washing feet, fermenting tapai water, and even used to store dead bodies among the natives of Borneo. In addition, the container is also used as a place to bake bread.
In villages around the 1960s and before, Malays put this container at the foot of the front steps to store water to wash their feet before going up to the house.
