Its interesting you call 'Adzan' as 'bangke' as in Malaysia some Malays also call it as 'bang' mostly in northern part of Malaysian states; Kelantan, Kedah, Perlis, Penang, Perak. The flags you've seen at the National Mosque are Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur flag as every state in Malaysia has their own flags. @@CuteSmile-pf8ep Many people from Oalembang, Manado, Nias, and Dayak have features that make them look somewhat Chinese, though they're not the majority. This is because they have ancestors with more Chinese heritage or pure austronesian. Some Sundanese and Banjarese have lighter skin than other Indonesians, but they don't look Chinese at all. The Chinese lady said they look Indonesian, it means they don't have typical Chinese features, even if they claim that they are Chinese. Besides skin color, Javanese people actually tend to resemble mainland Southeast Asians, like Thais or South Vietnamese, in their facial features, hence the chinese lady said that they look like Indonesian. Some mosques offer free food for ramadhan, do look out for those. I would also recommend you guys to spend a day or two in putrajaya, for iftar & the tarawih prayers. You can take erl or mrt (i think mrt is cheaper) and there is feeder bus to travel around putrajaya. I assure you, you will enjoy it. Putrajaya is quite safe, you can walk around the lake or even have a picnic at night.
Welcome to Malaysia..
Happy ramadhan days in Malaysia

muslim in Malaysia sometimes the adzan we pronounce as "bang" without "ke" all this while I thought the words "bang" is used by malay muslim only... i think the words "bang" has been used during the sultanate of melaka and admiral cheng ho from dynasty ming came and visit melaka at that time about 600 years ago... admiral cheng ho is a muslim
We aslo think it only we chinese muslim use😂But there is a lot of Persian in our dialect
@@oldwatchma same with malay language too,, we got many persian's derivatives words although Persians almost doesn't doesn't have connection with Malaysia.

Malaysia is a Federation country similar to United States of America and it has 14 states included 1 Federal Territories. Thats why if you see Malaysian flag there are 14 strips and the 14 edges of star to represent 14 states in Malaysia.
nikhassan7713. Sarawak Malays too termed "azan" as "bang"
Yes, I also think you both look like Indonesians. like people from the Sundanese tribe who come from West Java province. Hopefully one day you can visit Indonesia, maybe you will meet Indonesian people whose faces are similar to the two of you.

usually people visit Independence Square in the evening or at night. the attraction is not the field physically, but the historical value and buildings around it. usually the place is full of visitors at night.
In Malaysia we also say Bang or Azan...
_Selamat berpuasa_ Happy fasting, ramadhan mubarak.
Try ramadhan bazaars all around KL, for eg jalan tunku abdul rahman (jalan TAR) which isn't far from that independence square.
Also at jalan TAR later, you can try shopping for eid, at the _bazaar raya_ maybe get some local clothing items like _tudung_ (hijab), as well as local food for breaking of fast and for dinner
sorry at the very end I actually meant as well as local food for celebration of eid or _hari raya,_ like malay modern raya cookies, malay traditional lemang with rendang, ketupat with kuah kacang (malay traditional peanut sauce) etc

Its true that Indonesian look similar to Chinese especially the Javanese. As a Malaysian Malay, sometimes its very hard to distinguish them. Malay people on the other hand, look very diverse, some of us just look typical malay, some look like Chinese and some look like Indian, a few can pass as a middle eastern like Neelofa’s husband. In Penang, sometimes its hard to distinguish between Malay and Indian because theres a lot of mix there. Malaysia is a land of various races and we have been mixing with people of various backgrounds for centuries resulting various looks
Orang Sunda, orang palembang, manado, Tolaki, Dayak, Banjar, Nias dan beberapa suku minoritas lainnya lebih terlihat seperti China daripada suku Jawa
Not because of the skin color, but because of the face features.
@@dittoprae3863 people from sumatra and peninsular malay tend to have Australoid features, and to some extent caucasoid features. You can see people from Aceh and Penang especially they look very Indian
@@adityagotawa597 this is actually true. Identitas jawa itu itu mudah didapat. Bisa bahasa jawa dan menjalankan budaya jawa maka kamu orang jawa. as simple as that.
