I have lymphedema in my left leg following cancer surgery so skinny jeans have been a challenge for me. I LOVE the wide leg trend. So much more comfortable for me. Thank you for providing some great tips for wearing these jeans. I love watching your videos-you are so kind and gracious!
Loved these looks, reminds me of my teen years in the 70’s. I think we called them “elephant” pants. They’re actually quite comfy and can look stylish with the right top. Have been wearing them for the past year. Great video!
Great. tips, Kay! This past weekend I jumped into this trend and purchased flared-ankle pants at J. Crew. After so many years of wearing straight/narrow pants, it takes a while to get used to the new look. Today's video tips are good reminders as I begin to assemble outfits. Thanks so much for keeping this community "modern." One more thing - when I was hesitant about purchasing the flared pants, I remembered you saying that "fashion is fun" and that helped me greatly! Have a blessed day!
Thanks Kay. I am sewing more of my clothing and I appreciate your videos for guidance on what I might want to sew next. I concentrate on pieces that I will wear for years to come and what works with what I already own. Last year I made a pair of wide legged black linen slacks for summer and this video will help me style them with more confidence. And I will cue up some more in fabrics suitable for the cooler weather.
I just have to comment to let you know how much I enjoy your videos. You are so genuine and kind and I find myself smiling while watching your videos. The content is valuable to me but so is your kind, sincere demeanor. You also look amazing in this trend! Your suggestions are spot on.
Oh my gosh I remember wearing thses jeans when I was 14 lol. I styled them with the same way, with platform shoes, a botton down with a blazer with black velvet patches on the elbows and or a leather jacket hip length with a tie belt. Aaah yes, fashion does come back around. I love this look. Makes my waist look smaller and my legs miles longer. As always you look great and thank you for your hard work 😁. Blessings ❤
I think my favourite look on you was the cropped dark brown sweater with the denim jeans and also loved your leather jacket. As to wide leg pants with pleats, actually one can always stitch 'a portion' of them down beginning at the waistband to suit one's needs. i.e.: To eliminate the extra visual bulk, the amount (how far down) will be dictated by your body type. With appreciation of your tips.
Wide leg is my favorite pant style now and I will continue to wear them trending or not! I also like the pleated pants on my thin frame. I find them so stylish and comfy! Keep them long, preferably at least hitting the floor or longer to wear with heels. I love them!
Good morning Kay! Love the wide leg denim on you! The fit is great in the upper leg and very slenderizing to your body proportions. I’m tall, 5’ 9” and have a pair ready to wear when the temps cool down! Thank you for all the different tops and jacket options! 💕
Great tips as we transition into the wide legs. I really love them and plan to wear them. I’m just 5’4”. I have found that most of trousers I have tried on are very, very long. Keeping the tops close fitting does seem to really help. You look great!
I am a tall / long lady, 6 feet, a bit pear shaped. I have loved straight, bootleg and wide jeans and trousers all my life. The tips you give are so to the point! I know this is not for everybody. But skinnies don't look good on me, wide leg fit me better. I do appriciate that you give advice on all styles, so we can all chose what suits us.
Wonderful! I hope you enjoy them. I’m still waffling on how much I want to have cut off of mine. I’ve ordered some new shoes and boots to try with them before I make a decision. 😉
Thank you for addressing petite women. I’m 4’10” with an hourglass figure and 71 years old. I’m not sure if I will wear these or not but you gave really good suggestions! I love all your videos.
I like wide leg jeans with a fluffy cropped sweater for women with narrow shoulders. It helps balance the proportions. They are also great with below the knee cardigans that flow or shirt dresses as a third layer.❤
Bought a pair of black wide trousers last winter. I wore them Christmas day with dark green roll neck and silver chain belt with a heeled shoe boot. Got lots of compliments. I have also worn them with white trainers white t shirt and brown leather jacket. I did also wear them with an oversized small print shirt and trainers. I am in my 60s and they look modern. They were a bit fiddly to sort out as you say ..I had to shorten them and I do front tuck. I have also worn them with a long sleeve black and cream fine stripped t shirt..a long bright red cardi and a cream knee length trench coat. They are in a fine wool, very smart and flat front. I feel good in them and your tips are spot on. Not sure if I will wear jeans in same style but will try some on and see. I thought you looked good in these styles. Thanks for all your tips.
Thanks, Kay. I'm 5'2". I have one pair of dressy wide leg black pants from way back. I was going to donate them to a thrift shop; however, I have the right pair of black boots to wear with them and learned from you how to style them for my hour glass shape and proportions. Maybe this Christmas I'll be able to wear them to a holiday party, now that we can gather again. I have boot cut jeans and will stick to those for all the reasons you mentioned for us 'petite gals'. Thanks for continuing to lead the way in helping us navigate these fashion changes. I did like the last blazer you modelled, perhaps with the shortened pant hem and the high rise leather sneakers. You would rock that look, for sure!
I think you look great in your “cool girl” look! I especially love the soft colors. My only suggestion would be to push up you blazer sleeves to give it an even more edgy vibe. Love it!
Thanks for this video. I found a great deal on Jessica Simpson wide-leg high-waisted jeans a year ago, and I got them to try thinking the loss wouldn’t be too much if I didn’t like them. The waist was too big so I altered them and they’ve been hanging in my closet since because I just couldn’t make them work, and I got the waist a tiny bit too snug. I finally dragged them out again today and the waist fits because I’ve lost a little in the middle. I styled them for winter with some pointy-toed suede boots, a tucked-in fitted top, and a pretty belt. I’ll wear them soon. Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing these great tips Kay! At 5’2” I’ll stay away from wide leg jeans but I do have a pair or dress slacks that are wide leg from Talbots. You’ve given me some great ideas on what to pair them with.
Yes, I agree. I have an older pair of navy wide leg dress pants. I'll be keeping them to wear with the tips Kay shared. It's such a relief to learn how to wear these styles with items already in our wardrobes. I'm also 5'2" and wasn't it great to hear Kay talk about how we can participate in these 'current' fashion trends! Seems like everything old is new again!
The plaid blazer and tennis shoes looked great...for certain events! I am not a “cool girl” either, but I thought that outfit was very pleasing on you. If you reach for it often, feel appropriate for the occasion, and wear it with joy and confidence, I say, “Go for it!” I will be switching out some of my dress jeans for a wider look. I still wear boot cut for work on the ranch and during the winter. Thanks, Kay, for all you do to encourage us!
Good morning, Kay! because of my short stature, I will be avoiding these. However if I were to embrace them, and I wanted to wear them with different heel heights, I would buy two pair in the same or similar colors to go specifically with the heels that I had chosen for them. Just my $0.02! You look fantastic in the jeans with the brown top - legs for miles!
Thank you Kay, I’m 70 and wear a size 12, in Australian sizes, I’m a bit nervous about wide leg pants for me age but I want to stay in fashion , I’m used of wearing skinny leg jeans
Yeah, skinny jeans are definitely on their way out right now. But straight leg jeans are universally flattering. You can absolutely look fashionable in them. 😊
I loved this video! My daughter suggested wideleg linen trousers to me on a summer shopping trip- I’m a convert! I feel much more stylish and loved all your tips coming into the cooler weather. It’s just dawned on me, at just turned 60, I’m probably too old for skinny jeans ! Just hadn’t occurred to me.😂The only down side is having to choose in advance the shoe height !
I am just in heaven that wide leg high waist pants are back. I never could wear low waist or even mid rise pants because I have a sway back. I bought a pair of jeans from Talbots last year and I’m so glad you did this video for me to make my best choices when I wear them. Thanks Kay!
Kay, I love your videos! I sew most of my clothes but do not always know how to style the pieces I want to sew. I soooo appreciate your eye for style. I have some wide leg denim pants to style as well as some trousers that I have had difficulty styling. Thank you for this effort.
Haven’t seen you in a few weeks. Love your relevant content and suggestions for adapting to our current Closets. Makes so much sense to those of us that use less trends but still want to remain current. An aside…how r u looking younger every week. You look fresh and youthful and so slim. You are inspiring me to take note of what I’m putting in the slowing body. Thanks Kate, you are so appreciated!
I haven't bought any of these styles. I'm 5'3" and skinny jeans and close fitting pants just look better on me. Plus like you said you can cuff them for any shoes you want to wear. I just don't think I want all that fabric. I guess we'll see how long this style hangs around.😁 Most of this does look like what we wore in the 70's!
Hi Kay! I am a follower of your online videos and love them❣️ I appreciate your new ones that help us older ladies in achieving that Coastal Grandmother Style. I am also only 5’1” in height and appreciate hints on how to wear the wider leg pants, etc. Thank you so much❣️
Great video! I enjoy the lookbook and your choices. You provide fantastic tips. Wide leg looks beautiful on you and I think more people would benefit from a wide leg if they were willing to try them. I'm 5'4, and I find them very flattering on me. I wear them on days when I feel bloated or have leg or knee pain because they're non-restricting. They're almost like wearing a skirt and they're perfect for when you want to look dressed up or elegant. I buy the cropped version with elastic waist, and they hit me right below the ankle that way I don't have to hem or tailor them. I wear them with ballet flats in the spring and fall and flat boots in the winter. I have a linen pair for the summer and both denim and rayon for the winter. I always get compliments when I wear them. They're a great way to disguise a thick thigh or a large rear end.
Hi Kay, Yes I bought a pair or two of flared jeans at the urging of my daughters. I Ike the look especially with ankle booties in the fall as long as they are not TOO wide. But I doubt if many of us will be wearing them with 3 in heels! In expect to wear them mostly with fitted sweaters or turtlenecks when its much cooler. Also, works well with a button down shirt and blazer as you modeled. I have narrow shoulders and a jacket helps I’ve me a better balance with the wider leg silhouette. I’m not as tall as you at 5’ 5”.
I so love your videos. This is just what I need for help with how to wear wide leg trousers. I’ve nearly finished making a pair but as I’m only 5ft 3” I didn’t know how to wear them. Now I no slimmer fit tops will look best. Thank you ❤
Despite the predominance of oversized shirts on offer these days, I agree, there’s definitely a place for more fitted shirts in our wardrobes. I like the one you’re wearing.
These were wonderful tips for balancing body proportions with wide cut pants. I have a pair I bought last year which I haven’t worn yet and I do need to have them hemmed before I attempt an outfit. Thank you Kay!
Hi Kay as a 5'1 I won't be going for the wide trousers or jeans, but found your suggestions very helpful as will look at maybe petite flayered jeans. You looked fab in the outfits, and go rock the sneakers and trouser look . You can pull it off.
Excellent tips, especially as the colder months approach. I'm done with heels, so I bought a pair of wide-leg jeans in Petite (I'm 5'5") so I don't have to get them hemmed. I'll definitely pair them with fitted tops, as you've suggested. Thanks!
Thanks for the tips! I think I'll pass on this trend as I am on the shorter side. I may try on a pair and will keep your tips in mind to see if they'll make it into my closet. If not, my boot cut jeans will be my go-to.
My favorite for you is that brown faux leather jacket, tied in back or front. Really beautiful. Brown wouldn’t work as well for me, but black sure would and I think I’ll give that a go!
Great tips and i really like the wide leg look on you. I also like the colouring with the jacket but recon if it was a crop jacket it would look amazing. As always great tips !
Thanks for the great ideas! I wasn’t convinced initially that this trend was for me but I’ll give it a try. I liked the look with the plaid blazer and sneakers. I might try it with a more fitted graphic tee in a complimentary color.
Let me just say, that top you’re wearing is fabulous. It’s so complimentary to your hair and skin tone. I don’t wear pants at all but I appreciate how stylish they look. I love the jeans with the brown cropped sweater top. Melissa 🌼
I love all your input on wide leg pants. I’m the kind of person that jumps right in on trends like this. Not sure that’s always a good thing! 😆 Anyway, I will say that I don’t completely agree on pleated pants with a tummy. I find that if the fit is right, the pleats skim over my pooch and actually disguise it. Plus the pleats add a vertical line to make my 5’4” frame look taller. I loved pleats back in the day and still do! Btw…so glad skinnies are no longer a thing. They’re so uncomfortable for me! Thanks for all the advice you give and all your work to help us all look great! Have a blessed day 😁
I am so happy to have the wide legged pants back in style. I have large calves and ankles so skinny and some straight legged pants are not at all flattering. Also, my legs aren’t long so, the high waist pants are wonderful. Celebrating here in Hamilton Ontario.
You look very au courant in your wide leg jeans! So many don’t want to move on from skinny jeans but for women “of a certain age”, like myself, it’s the easiest way to keep from looking dated. I say bring ‘em on!
Good morning! Thank you for all the time and effort you took in making this video.. I just ordered some wide leg PLAID trousers yesterday, and can't wait till they get here! I am 5'3", and a size 2, but absolutely love this silhouette (with the correct length). Even my hubby loves my flare and wide leg jeans, and says they are "throwback classy"! FYI, My new plaid trousers are muted fall colors, nothing too crazy....haha
I’m 5ft tall, pear shaped, and soon to be touching my 70s. I recently purchased wide leg linen pants. I did have to hem them by one inch and I wear them with white trainers. I have cropped linen tops that work well because I really dislike anything too fitted. I didn’t think I could pull this off but maybe it’s the light linen material? I definitely wouldn’t buy jeans or more dressy trousers because I think it would all look and feel too heavy on me. Hope this helps someone else who thinks they can’t pull off this look…life is getting just too short not to try ☺️. Love all your videos 🇨🇦
I loved how you delved into the possibilities for wide leg pants and jeans. I bought some linen ones at Talbots summer sale. I need to cut off and hem them about 1 1/2”. As you said, there is no stretch, so I’m trying to take off a 5 lbs, which I need to do anyway! They are a nice butternut color so they will take me into fall. Do you have a suggestion for a top? They have the sailor buttons on both sides. I am 5’7” and weigh 160. They are a size 12.
Greetings, Kay! Thank you for all the time and energy you put into these videos…As a lady who is very into fashion and has been wearing the wide leg pants for a couple of years now, I would love to encourage you to at least tuck in your shirts, at least in the front… I think you are cutting yourself off at a stranger place, And not giving yourself some shape in the middle. I think if you tucked in at least the front of your shirts, you could remedy that! Another thing that I totally agree with you is to wear some thing that’s more fitted up top or shorter shirts that just come to the waist of the pant. There are actually lots of pants now out there, I have a couple, that are made from viscose or much more flowy fabrics, so they do have ones that can give! Just a little battle information that I’ve learned along the way!
Hello and good morning from sunny California.I think the last outfit works for you if you have the pants shortened. The jacket isn’t too oversized for the look and the pattern gives the outfit a casual interest. You might consider rollin the jacket sleeves up one more time to shorten them up and show more arm. Thanks for the video. I got some really good outfit ideas.
Moved to Florida last winter these pants were great for airflow in hotter temps! Being petite I go slim on top and tucked in. Jeans are raw edge can cut off!! Gives you a good length if done right.
Hi Kay, of the outfits you've shown here, the following are my favorite on you. I really liked the thumb nail pix in this video of you wearing the jeans, with the white tucked in shirt & open leather jacket, as the proportions suit your frame & height. I also like the pix of you in the black long wool coat & tan pants as well. Lastly I liked the outfit where you wore the cranberry (ish) coloured sweater half tucked into the tan pants, with no jewelry or belt. These colours really complemented your colouring. I'm glad wide leg pants/jeans are back, as they are quite flattering on pear & hour glass shapes. I've had a pair of wool (wide leg) trousers for many years, which looked good without a belt, with a square toe 2 1/2 inch block heeled mule. I've worn a turtle neck sweater of the same hue, & a softly striped semi-fitted long sleeve shirt when it was quite cold. It was one of my favorite outfits. In relation to you heming the pants to wear kitten heels etc, that would look lovely on you. Please let us know how you decide to wear them. 🙂
I love them, I just came back from Europe and on our way to the airport our driver took us through the city of London and there were so many women wearing these on their way to work. I decided them I’m buying some. I do have a pair of wide linen pants and I love them.
Perfect timing as I bought a pair of wide legged black jeans today. I am only 5’4” tall however they looked fine with shirt or top tucked in with belt, ankle boots and even flat black mules. I agree that the top needs to be close to the body. An open trench in black or sand looked great over the top.
Thanks so much, Kay, for these helpful tips! I am very short and small; so I’m not going to be trying this right now, but I can see how your tips can definitely bless others who will!!❤️
Hi Kay, once again I loved everything you commented on. I agree the closer silhouette top with these wider pants does look better. I love the high waisted pants and jeans. Have a great day and I will see you in the next one. :)
Great tips. all the outfits looked terrific on you. I especially liked the jeans with the white shirt and the camel pants with the black shirt. I didn't think of trying the camel pants with trainers. I think I will try that. I still have a pair of wide leg jeans in my closet from when they were in style. I couldn't part with them. I am going to dig them out. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Hi Kay, I think you look very nice in the top your wearing in the video. Wide leg trousers/jeans are one of my personal top 3 favorite. I think they are the bomb. To me they are very flattering and comfortable. Love the way they hang. And I agree with you, About carefully choosing what style of tops to wear with them. A clingier smooth fitting top can make them even more flattering. They are not exactly the easiest to find where I live so when I find some if they work in the dressing room I grab them. Thanks for the tips, God bless you.
Great video, as always. But especially delighted to see your Blue Ridge china in the cabinet in your kitchen! I'm a major Blue Ridge collector and enjoy seeing others appreciate the craftsmanship in them too. So pretty!
Loved my wide jeans and trousers back in the day, still got 2 or 3 pairs, can’t wait to wear them again (if I can get into them) Used to wear them touching the ground with frayed edges, platform sole shoes, roll back the years.
Thank you so much for the tips. It is sometimes challenging to step out of or comfort zone and try new/current fashion. I am looking forward to utilizing your tips this autumn when I try out the wide leg jeans. Thank you again for the care and effort you put into sharing your knowledge.
I loved this video. Must of my jeans are wide legs. I think they look more classic chic and I could elevate the looks using differents blouses and accesories. You look very nice using them.
I like the look with heels, even lower than 3 inches. I have two pairs. Mine has no pockets as I am stearing away from that due to my pear shape body. I mostly wear with shorter jackets. I have a denim jacket. It is white with a flower pattern. That seems to work for me as the colours of the flowers matches the pants. Love these videos; you are such an inspiration!
Can I just say that you ARE a cool girl? You are!! I laughed because I asked both my mom and Lesley if they would wear the Old Navy cropped wide leg pants we are wearing today, and they weren't too excited. But after Lesley got her pair, she bought 2 more, haha. I think it does take time to get used to it!! XOXO PS, I love that plaid blazer look!! (no surprise, I bet)
Thank you for this very informative video! I love the wide leg trousers! I like your trouser & blazer look. You looked in proportion. I would suggest loafers, flats or a shoe that is more tailored rather than a bulky looking trainer.
Thank you, Kay! I have been wondering how to wear these! I am 5’ 3,” a proportional. Most of my height seems to be in my torso. As an active, 68 yo assoc. pastor, I want to look nice and welcoming. I am at the recommended weight for my age with a tummy (sigh!). From your video, it sounds like my best choice is the boot-cut. I want to try one pair of the wider leg to stay current but stay true to me. Thank you again! Great video. Blessings, Sandy
You totally suit the wide leg jeans - they look fantastic, especially with your tops tucked in. The loose camel pants with polo shirt seems such a mid/later life American vibe, I would feel very frumpy wearing that combo in my country. The cultural style differences are interesting to note. But wowzer, higher waist, wide legged jeans are so great on you.
Love wide legs, I only just saw that they are coming back in fashion this season, which is summer in Capetown, already bought 5 pairs in UK to take home next week. Thanks for a great video 👍
Great tips Kay !! I like how those pants look on you. They might be ok for me too, since I have about the same high, bodyshape and size. I used to wear wide leg pants years ago and liked them. The downside is you need different length pants or wear the same kind of heel with them all the time. Where I live people take their shoes of inside the house and I still remember that those pants looked aweful wearing them with just socks or houseshoes. We also get very messy streets and sidewalks in the winter here. That usually means that those long wide pants get wet and dirty really fast. The same when coming out of the rain or snow and then driving your car. The back of the hem hangs on the messy floor. Perhaps I'm getting to practical as I get older, but I sure do not want to deal with those issues again.
Heidi, when you mentioned about having to remove your shoes when visiting other peoples homes I had to put in my two cents. We usually go barefooted or wear house slippers in our home but if we have guests we wear shoes and allow them to keep their shoes on. I think it’s rude to expect company to get spiffed up in nice clothes then spend their time with pants (men and women) dragging the floor or ladies with nice dresses and barefooted. We need to have our homes visitor friendly and maybe do away with the expensive rugs and have floors we can clean after they leave if we are so picky. Donna
I have lymphedema in my left leg following cancer surgery so skinny jeans have been a challenge for me. I LOVE the wide leg trend. So much more comfortable for me. Thank you for providing some great tips for wearing these jeans. I love watching your videos-you are so kind and gracious!
Thanks so much. I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel. 😊
Loved these looks, reminds me of my teen years in the 70’s. I think we called them “elephant” pants. They’re actually quite comfy and can look stylish with the right top. Have been wearing them for the past year. Great video!
Great to hear! 🙌🏻 I’m so glad you’re enjoying them. I can’t wait for it to cool off a little here so I can really wear them. 😊
Totally seventies 😊 i like the look.
Yes Elephant pants I forgot about that😀
@@ameliaclark5792 Ahh don’t you just love nostalgia? The good old days😄
Or were they called elephant ear pants?

I love the way you did your presentation. You showed the tips on how to wear a wide leg pants for mature women. Thank you.
You’re so welcome. Thanks for watching. 😊
I bought a pr of wide leg jeans so i watched this a second time!!!
Wonderful! I hope you enjoy them. I’m still waffling on how much I want to have cut off of mine. I’ve ordered some new shoes and boots to try with them before I make a decision. 😉
I recently picked up two pairs of wide leg high waisted jeans at a thrift store, total spent $7 love them. My first time watching you.
Thank you for addressing petite women. I’m 4’10” with an hourglass figure and 71 years old. I’m not sure if I will wear these or not but you gave really good suggestions! I love all your videos.

Thanks so much for watching and sharing, Kathy. 🥰
So nice to see pant & jean styles that look & feel comfortable & can be flattering to more sizes .
I am so tired of the “skinny” jean especially on no -skinny people. Love classic looks like this. You are the best!
Thanks Kay!
Thanks for all your wonderful tips how to style these pants. Takes a lot of time and effort on your part which I’m sure we all appreciate.
I guess we'll see how long this style hangs around.😁
Most of this does look like what we wore in the 70's!
Thank you, Polly. 😊
Excellent tips, especially as the colder months approach. I'm done with heels, so I bought a pair of wide-leg jeans in Petite (I'm 5'5") so I don't have to get them hemmed. I'll definitely pair them with fitted tops, as you've suggested. Thanks!
All the looks are really flattering on you.
I love, love this trend but have really struggled with how to make it work. I will definitely be applying your tips! Thank You Kay!
Great to hear! I’m so glad this was helpful to you. I know you’ll rock them! 🙌🏻
Thanks, Kay! I like the fitted jacket, leather…and the shorter tops with these long big leg pants! Thanks for the outfit ideas!
Melissa 🌼
Thanks so much, Melissa. 💕
Great tips! Thanks! I'm short, so I'll mostly stay away from these, but I think the right pants and tops could still work for me.
I love all your input on wide leg pants. I’m the kind of person that jumps right in on trends like this. Not sure that’s always a good thing! 😆
Anyway, I will say that I don’t completely agree on pleated pants with a tummy.
Great tips! I really like the oversized blazer, and sneaker look on you! Very Diane Keaton!
Oh I bet they are amazing! How wonderful. I do hope you enjoy them! 💕
I love how the wide leg pants look on you with all of your suggestions! Lovely video!
Great tips Kay, thank you especially for me being near to petite shape
If the pleats on the trousers fold inward they will actually be flattering. So look for.inward folding pleat. :)
I think they can look very elegant. I have read or heard pleats must be facing outward for most slimming effect.
They absolutely can be very elegant. Thanks so much for watching and sharing, Mary Beth. 💕
I saved this video and I will refer back to it as I go through my closet. Thanks again, Kay.
Moved to Florida last winter these pants were great for airflow in hotter temps! Being petite I go slim on top and tucked in. Jeans are raw edge can cut off!! Gives you a good length if done right.
Also will be checking out the cleaning products. Great idea.
I loved your video, I just discovered your channel, I'm 47 years old and I like your style ideas. I see you from Uruguay in South America.
The sneaks and oversized blazer were great, I say yes!
Beautiful choices. I like the plaid blazer look. Didn’t think the clogs were the best shoe choice for the tan trousers.
Thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts, Maria. 🥰
I love boot cut jeans but wide leg trousers don’t look good on my petite frame. They look great on taller women however. Enjoyed this video, Kay.
Oh yes! A trench will work wonderfully! Thanks so much for sharing. I know you’re going to love those black jeans. 🙌🏻
Thanks so much, Kay, for these helpful tips! I am very short and small; so I’m not going to be trying this right now, but I can see how your tips can definitely bless others who will!!❤️
Thank you for the great tips and for showing examples for all of them!
Hi Kay, once again I loved everything you commented on. I agree the closer silhouette top with these wider pants does look better. I love the high waisted pants and jeans. Have a great day and I will see you in the next one. :)
Wow, love the leather jacket with jeans look! I’m petite and the wide leg jeans are not for me, but they look stylish on you. 🌻
Thank you so much for watching, Sari. 😊
Definitely like the plaid blazer too! Thanks Kay 😀
Great tips. all the outfits looked terrific on you.
I love the wide leg trousers & jeans. You look great in them!
Great video, as always. But especially delighted to see your Blue Ridge china in the cabinet in your kitchen! I'm a major Blue Ridge collector and enjoy seeing others appreciate the craftsmanship in them too. So pretty!
Hahaha! I have loads of it! ❤️
Loved my wide jeans and trousers back in the day, still got 2 or 3 pairs, can’t wait to wear them again (if I can get into them)
Used to wear them touching the ground with frayed edges, platform sole shoes, roll back the years.
Yes, the puddle look is actually in again. But I don’t think I’ll wear mine that way. Thanks so much for sharing! 😊
Love the look with the sneakers. You’re absolutely “cool”enough.😊🙏🏻
You look good in all the outfits. Very helpful. Thank you.
Love this particular session! Thank you Kay!
XOXO
PS, I love that plaid blazer look!! (no surprise, I bet)
Thanks so much, Jodie. You definitely demonstrate courage in fashion and it pays dividends! 🙌🏻
Thank you for this very informative video! I love the wide leg trousers! I like your trouser & blazer look. You looked in proportion. I would suggest loafers, flats or a shoe that is more tailored rather than a bulky looking trainer.
I’ll definitely wear boots and loafers too as shown. But the trainers are a fun option for occasion.
I love all these outfits! 🤗You look great in the cool girl outfit with the blazer!
Very nice! Liked all the options.
And if you like wearing heels you should definitely try these. Thanks so much for watching! 💕
Thanks!
So helpful! I am new to your channel and need all these tips!!!
I LOVE WIDE LEG PANTS!!! I have big thighs so I'm excited about this fashion trend I have several.
You look beautiful in all of them.
Wonderful! I’m with you. 🙌🏻
Ahh, thanks so much Sandy. That means a lot to me. So kind! 💕
Love this trend!! Suffered though skinny jean craze. Just couldn’t ever find many that worked well for my shape or height (5’9”)
Donna
