This came out in 1995 believe it or not. Meshuggah are on another level, one of if not the greatest band to ever exist in all of heavy music

Meshuggah are definitely the type of band, where the more you listen to the songs the better they get. Once you're used to all the strange timings the song just go that much harder.

This song is absolutely insane for its time. One of my favorite metal tracks ever

Meshuggah means "crazy" or "insane" in Yiddish, fits perfect

My all time favourite Meshuggah track, off my favourite album by them. Man, when I heard this 95/96ish (it's hard to remember, I was NOT sober 😂) it was life changing. Pure joy.

This was the first Meshuggah song that I ever heard back in the late 90's and it will probably always be my favorite of theirs. The whole album was great and for me is probably what got me into liking non-traditional beats/rhythms in metal.

Same. This is the song that started my metal journey. Here we are nearly 30 years later, and this song still reaches out and slaps you in the face

"Sublevels" has a softer beginning with softer vocals for maybe half the track. It's a tad short tho. They have other softer songs but theyre typically instrumental
