    You might want to get a Gore-tex type jacket shell. They tend to be fairly windproof which is helpful. I empathize with the huffing and puffing as it reminds me of me but on easier hikes than that 😀. Looked like a heavy kit to take up a mountain.

      Haha I felt fairly athletic until I spoke to a guy on the way down who had done a loop of 5 peaks in the time it took me to do one 😅 The wool jacket was great with the wind but my face was so cold 🙈
      I’m gradually learning to take less stuff with me but as a habitual overpacker it’s a challenge to reduce the bag size!

      @@robert_may I was huffing and puffing my last vacation to Edinburgh walking up and down the hills there. Oh and walking up to Stirling Castle 😄 And this is without any backpack/rucksack. I'm out of shape! Overpacking I can understand, as I do it too often. Great that you got out there and climbed the mountain, and the photos look good too 👍

      @@johnvillalovos I've been to Stirling and I know exactly what you mean 😆 The walk to the Wallace monument was much further than I thought too.
